Radio dump - HTC Desire 610

Can i get a dump of the radio partition from the 610 or 612. Both would be great. I believe its dev/block/mmcblk0p20 but not positive.
Sent from my SM-J100VPP using Tapatalk

Might be weird to ask, but for what do you need it, porting a ROM?

No im going to convert a 612 to gsm.

Finding the correct radio

So i'm kind of new to all of this. I was hoping someone could help me on how to find the correct radio to flash for my phone. thanks
You should at least tell us
What is your phone?
Country?
Model?
Current radio?
Flashing radio is quite dangerous.

It's an HTC Thunderbolt, USA, and I have no idea what my current radio is.. not sure how to find that info?
You may refer to this thread. forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1048128
What you need to do is recognize you current OS, your cellular provider is using CDMA or LTE.
using wrong version radio may harm your devices.
Make sure you know what you are doing now.

Flashing international ROMs on the ATT variant

I've seen a few people saying they've done it on here, and am curious.
Are there any special steps, or does it "just work", flash and go?
If not, do you have to flash radios? settings tweaks?
any things not work?
LTE functioning?
Any info would be helpful.

I flashed it as they did on the international version. Lte works without having to even touch apn settings.
I did flashed the boot image manually though. Did it as a precaution
So far the rom runs well without any issues son far. I'm on ARHD 5.1

after flashing, you go through the typical new phone setup. It asks who your carrier is and ATT is one of the options. I'm assuming that's how it knows what APN to use.
There's a thread around here somewhere someone created ATT looking status bar icons to flash for the WWE version..
Anyone not flash the boot.img through fastboot. And was successful.

Running ARHD 6.1 right now, works great no issues. Also updated the radio to the latest, notice no performance change before and after the radio upgrade but I'm sure it's improved some aspects, better to have it match the ROM I guess.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
I've tested that Rom as well. I wouldn't suggest updating the radio. Also like the picture above shows there is an issue with 1 bar for LTE, but the dev of that Rom is working on a fix.
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
Surprisingly I'm now occasionally seeing 2 bars on LTE while at home, last night before the radio upgrade it was consistently one bar. Even with one bar though my LTE performance has been comparable to what I saw on my iPhone, is the bar issue only cosmetic?

I am debating similar question too, trying to decide which of the following I should flash/wait to flash
1. Developer Edition (support by HTC directly, but so far stuck on 4.12)
2. International Stock Rom (support by HTC directly, has 4.22, not sure if OTA will work even with SuperCID or correct CID since we are in US?)
3. Nexus Edition (support by Google, which means updates will be fast and furious, but no Sense 5)
I know SuperCID will let you whatever rom you want, but will OTA work with superCID? or we need to set CID to match the rom for OTA to work?
S-Off'd and successfully RUU'd the Developer Edition on my AT&T One!

Does the dump include the modem? We desperately needed the modem to be ported to the international versions (I-9200 and I-9205). HSPA+ signals are very inconsistent and I believe porting the modem from the AT&T version will help us a lot.

No roms will work, if ever, on this device because it has been "protected" by Att from running unsigned boot and recovery images.

Question for ViperDNA ROM by Team Venom

I have installed the ViperDNA 2.0.3 ROM on my Droid DNA. I am in Verizon network.
Question:
I know there is a gsm version and a Verizon version for this ROM. I have travel plans and plan to go outside USA (India) and use a local GSM sim card there. Will my phone work with the Verizon version of the ROM if I just insert the gsm sim card? Or do I need to flash the gsm version for the ROM?
I have been able to use a gsm sim card before with the stock ROM. Not sure if it will work with Viper ROM. Please help!

I'm not absolutely sure. But I'd think you would need a contract with like tmobile to pick up GSM.
It's not with T-Mobile.. I am planning to use pre-paid in India for a month on the network there.. Was just wondering if the Verizon version of the ROM will work by just switching to global network..
