Hello All,
Can anyone help me on how to root the the stock lollipop on Xperia Z2.
I heard somewhere to use the kingroot app, but i believe thats not a safe app.
Did you search?
If your on lollipop and lazy then use kingroot,
If your on lollipop and not lazy then downgrade to kitkat and use the community root toolkit or Towelroot,
If your on kitkat then use the community root toolkit or Towelroot.

How do you guarantee it? Have you used a packet sniffer or reverse engineered the application?

Doesnt work with newest firmware update!
Please Note This Does NOT Work on The New 14.1.B.2.257 Firmware Update!
VRoot 1.7.2
The easiest VRoot just came out as new version 1.7.2.4200.
Can somebody please tried with the latest 14.1.B.2.257 and confirm?

Worked fine on my c6806. I bricked mine after rooting previously. Managed to restore it. Had to re-root 2 days ago, did so on the latest version of VRoot and worked perfectly.

it doesn't work on 257.
Can you downgrade firmware on Sony to a version below .257 and root? I have the c6806 and would love to root but I don't think a firmware lower then that exists for US version?

Great. I WISH I didn't update to 257. Now I've lost root. I've got a locked bootloader and refuse to unlock it.
Now those having a locked bootloader are not able to root at this time.

i'm a junior , dude can u tell me which files to download , i'm confused and help me avoid bootloop
thanx in advance
You need the latest xposed arm.zip file and the apk. Flash the zip in recovery to install the framework and install the apk to manage the modules.
If your new, avoid xposed til you know what your doing and can fix you own bootloop.
