I flashed by Odin v3.10.6 the v5.1.1 UK firmware once then applied root and TWRP, but then I did some mistakes by removing (I suppose) some needed stuff and started having Play Service and Google Plus FC.
Therefore I decided to flash again the same firmware by Odin again, but then a FAILED message came up after some seconds I started the flash...
Now my device is soft bricked and I have no clue what to do... HELP! :crying::crying:

Solved again.
It looks like removing the Gmail app now cause weird issues with the whole Google package.
I had to reinstall both Gmail & Google Play Services APKs to stop the load of FC messages I was getting.
On the other hand if you just disable Gmail nothing bad happens.

Hello guys.
Unfortunately my galaxy s3 cannot turn on. My phone started to freeze all the time and I got a message when i turned on that i have to wipe data because my cell phone can become unstable. Below the message it was a key which said "I am feeling lucky" :/ I tried to boot to recovery with the standard way of Home + volume + power and Android logo came on the screen like the way when I updated the firmware. When it stuck after 10 mins I turned it off and now the only thing I can see is a white screen with grey lines. nothing more nothing less.
I cannot do anything via toolkit because it cannot find the mobile...

Wow "i am feelin lucky" hackers are getting a sense of humor...
U shouldve understood immediatly it was a virus...if it cant find something its probably cause the virus flashed stuff on your phone. Try searching the internet for this sort of phone infection youre likely to find the "fix" immediatly..

I dont know why but I did the Stock 4.3 update via Odin. I was rooted and unlocked 4.1.2
Now I've been stuck on the samsung logo since last night (not the bootloop, just frozen)
I've tried to install older stock roms and they all succeed thru Odin. Ive tried with and without pit files. Ive looked at most of the threads and I feel like Ive tried everything...is there anything else I can do?
Thanks :*(

Welcome to the ranks of regretful upgraders. We're a sorrowful bunch, it seems.
(I also upgraded, so eager to get the latest official update that I forgot about losing my unlocked bootloader. Sigh...)
Your best bet is Verizon's software. Assuming you have the new bootloader (go into Download mode, look for the KNOX flag - if there, you have it), this won't make things any worse.
If you don't have the latest bootloader, DON'T use Verizon's software, as it will apply the latest bootloader and lock you up tight.
With that caveat, here's Verizon's software: http://www.mediafire.com/?887h2dm4d20dk43
Steps are simple:
- install the software
- boot into Download mode (Power+Home+VolDown)
- start the Verizon software
- plug your phone into your computer (wait for driver install, detection)
- click on the 'repair' option in the left column
- click on your phone in the device section
- click on repair button in the bottom right (or next, or start - I don't recall)
- wait for the OTA to download and be installed
You can obtain root, though there is some risk depending on the method you choose (privacy issues with one program).
Good luck!

That is, indeed, what that means.
Yup, you've got KNOX and the new bootloader. My condolences.
Don't try to flash other bootloader or ROMs - you'll trip the counter and get a softbrick ('Unauthorized Software' message, phone won't boot).
On the flip side, you can still get your phone back to working condition. Verizon Software to the rescue.
(Glad to help, by the way. Nice to be able to offer help!)

dang i feel so helpless...
so i installed the verizon app but the app wont launch. its there in the tab next to the clock but nothing happens when i plug my phone in while download mode, argh!!
I had that happen too.
The way around it is to launch the application from the Start Menu or Desktop a second time. Then it will actually come up, instead of just having an icon in the notification center.

Hmm.
So I just installed the software on my 64-bit system here. I didn't reboot and when I right-clicked on the taskbar icon and selected 'Launch Assistant', it did right away. When I closed that window and tried to launch from the Start Menu icon, it also opened the application.
I'm wondering if its a goofy install. Care to uninstall and try again?
In the meantime, what version of Windows are you running? If Vista or higher, there could be an administrator access prompt that was denied, which might keep the application from launching.
powers airtsom
just tried another usb port also...nothing

I am having the same problem what firmware file did you use?
After installing this (don't install (download is fine) this unless you know what you're doing).
It then proceeded to reboot and now when i try switch it on the "Galaxy Note 3" stuff pops up, then it blinks and i can't turn it on without taking off the battery (then i get the white "galaxy note 3" screen as usual again".
I can only get into recovery mode and i really don't want to factory reset as i just went on holiday and didn't back-up my pics yet.

Oops looks like the hyperlink didn't work.
I am too new to post links. Type www . datafilehost . com / d / 58831a1e without the spaces.
I granted it root access then my phone restarted, then the normal galaxy note 3 white text appeared but then the phone crashed.
I went into recovery mode, however now if i try go to recovery mode it simply restarts the phone one again then crashes.
I can't even reset it now since i can't get into recovery mode (this may be due to me (noob) accidentally pressing restart with ADP or something like that).
My phone is a galaxy note 3 (rooted with kingo root) SM-N9005 (got this mobile phone from a1 . net on a contract).

If you pirate, crap happens. Do not pirate.
Anyway, you should contact Chainfire because he is the creator of Chainfire3D. Don't know if he will help you because you pirated his application... :screwy:

Ah, if you only knew what you were talking about...
Sammobile is not directly from Samsung / the manufacturer and they have used rapidgator as one of their upload sites along with terafile as their official uploads and most of the guides you find just link to those sites. Plus if you understand how Odin works, you know that it checks the md5 first to assure the file is not corrupted. That and the OP wanted instructions, which you didn't bother helping with either. We obviously have a different idea what "wrong" is, it would appear.
