Low Memory Problem

Hey,
I´m running the CyanogenMod 7.1 on my Ace and have A2Sd + A2SdGUI. Although I have an 1GB ext4 partition on my SD I´m getting low memory notification. A2Sd is working (correctly) (I checked the ext4 and there are all my apps and not on the SD or the internal memory). The dalvik cache is on my internal memory and should be there, because it´s faster so. I don´t understand the low mem options in the A2SdGUI. What are they for? I am able to kill the low memory notification or have I to delete some apps?
Thanks in advance.
How much free internal memory do you have left? Also, how much free space do you have left in sd-ext?
If you install enough stuff, i don't see why you won't get a low memory warning. you cannot choose to decide which app on "internal" gets to go to the real McCoy internal memory or the pseudo internal memory ie sd-ext. So you may end up with still quite an amount of free space in sd-ext but internal memory is only 30MB free or so.
I have about 900MB free space in the ext4 and about 15MB internal storage.

I have no idea why the ratio of apps on sd-ext to apps on internal memory is so warped for yours. Since you are on a2sdgui, i suggest you to check firstly that everything is done as it should be in a2sdgui
zipaligned
apps on sd
no swap
dalvik cache on sd-ext
If everything is as per normal, then proceed to batch shift apps to your sd (not sd-ext). Am referring to froyo style, partial shift of apps to sd. Then shift them back again to internal memory.
If you have titanium backup, this can be done in an iffy using batch move to sd then batch move to internal.
go to titanium backup...has an option by which apps can be moved to sd...some apps that have been restored via titanium cant be moved to sd wid apps to sd n other apps..i guess..
All apps were installed normally (not restored with TB). I tried to move apps to SD and return them again to ext4, but it doesn´t help. Any ideas?
EDIT:
I forgot to say, the A2SdGUI is showing the wrong spaces. In Titanium Backup it shows everything right, but the A2SdGUI shows, my ext4 is just 206MB?!

I never relied on a2sdgui for that sort of info.

Help! Increase Partition Size

Hi, is it possible to increase the size of the partition where the apps are located? in other devices like my iPad I can use the total amount of disk space for apps but in my Galaxy SII if I want to have lot of apps I have a small 2gb partition. Do you know a solution? I need more space for apps...
Thanks!
Are you talking about the internal or external (SD card) disk?
I think the internal disk space is fixed to a custom partition, but if you're using App2SD or any similar script with a partition inside the SD card, you can repartition that partition to fix your needs without problem with any partition editor (like GParted).
I'm talking about the internal memory of the SII ... In other gadgets like Apple we have the entire disk space to install applications if we like.
Do you know a method to increase the space of the app partition? I think that is not a great solution to depend of an SD card, we have a lot of memory on the phone. I don't know why samsung have limited to 2GB the data partition, I think is too small...
Any idea about resize the partitions of internal memory?

Don't know if its possible atm...
What do you have installed that you need +2Gb for apps? Have you considered moving some apps to SD?
/data partition has 2Gb
/sdcard has 8Gb
Both partitions are from the internal memory so moving any app from /data to /sdcard won't affect your speed, since both are internal memory...
PS: Despite the name, /sdcard is internal and /sdcard/external_sd is the external SD Card mounted on the phone.
Hi! AzureusPT thanks for your help... The problem is when I try to move to Sd card a message appears saying that I have to insert an SD Card... so I think that is not possible to move applications to /sdcard internal memory.
Do you know another method?

sd card means micro sd card.. the /sdcard is the internal sd card w/c you can store data internally.. external sd card is your memory card.. the way android works is (or sgs2) has 3 partitions, 500+ for rom, 2gb for applications and tge rest for storage.. for games like gameloft which has huge amount of data, the installer itself is in thr 2gb partition while its data is stored in the 11gb + partition.. so no need to worry about running out of space

[Q] How to add ext2 partition of sd card with internal memory of galaxy s5360

i followed a thread about increasing the internal memory of android and partitioned my sdcard and using link2sd moved all apps to that ext2 partition.
Now i have 77mb free in phone storage and 1.06gb in ext2 partition. i downloaded a game of 158mb but when i install it it says not enough memory and shows the memory of phone storage(77mb) but not of ext2 partition. any way to solve this problem? i partitioned my sd card just for that sake but it also didn't work :[...... plx help.....................
try this
try this thread! it works for my galay y duos s6102 and it should work with yours also

RE:
Negative.......
I did that but still the same problem........
btw that thread was about increasing performance and saving internal memory..... i want to install game of 150mb which i can't install because of low internal memory error.....

Resize ext2 partition??

So, I have a samsung galaxy young s6312, stock android 4.1.2 jellybean, rooted. Since the internal memory is very low, I use link2sd to link app files to my external sd card. Now I have created an ext2 partition of 1.5 gb to use with link2sd. but now the partition is full, and my internal memory is also full, because I have installed about 3gb of apps in my phone, half are in the second partition, and half are on my internal memory. so now I want to know if there is a way I can increase the size of my second partition. if I had enough memory, I would have moved the apps to my internal memory temporarily, but I don't have enough internal memory to move the linked apps to my internal memory. so is there any way to increase size of second partition without formatting it?? NOTE: I don't have any problem in formatting the first partition if necessary, but I can't format the second partition. NOTE: the sd card I use is of 8 gb...
Thanks...........
I have the same issue...
... so I'm disappointed to see that no one has replied.
I have a rooted LD-D520 with Android 4.1.2. Since I quickly ran out of memory I added an 8GB SD card and partitioned it with a 1.5GB ext2. I used Link2SD to them move over most all my apps. I don't have that many, but some of them have gotten so big (FB, Skype, etc.) that I now have only 5% free space on the ext2. I don't have much space left on the internal memory either, so I thought I'd try to make the ext2 partition bigger. (There's lot of free space on the SD card since I'm not using much of the other partition.) I tried using the MiniTool Partition Wizard, but even after reducing the size of the non-ext2 partition to create some unallocated space I was still unable to resize the ext2 partition.
Any suggestions? Is there an easy way to do this?
