I tried that already but installation failed
I'm just throwing out suggestions. Maybe try installing ES file explorer and set system as r/w from there.
What is this one click root app? I'm not familiar with it

I made a guide for how to root the Sony Xperia Z3v. You may use Kingroot as you wish, but be advised that some unknown server is pulling data from your phone from wherever it may be.

Hi. I accidentally deleted my system xbin file. Now I can't root or install xrecovery on my phone. Anybody can teach me how to restore the xbin file to the phone system? Sorry for posting it here...new member so can't post it at development...
You shouldn't be posting in development, dude! All queries go to either general or q&a

i think you should repair with SEUS and start again with rooting etc...
Which xbin are you talking about? The /system/xbin directory?
Maybe it's because the method you are using to root tries to installs the su binary in /system/xbin. Which method are you using? You could try another method, for example, if I remember well, when I used to use z4root, it installed the su binary to another directory.
Once root is working, you can use any terminal app (or adb shell) to recreate the directory.

This is a solution that surely would work.
Yeah..I'm talking bout the /system/xbin folder...I tried using z4root but it jams halfway...superoneclick doesn't work either..
I like the root option in flashtool, always worked for me when the others failed.

Use flashtool to wipe your data and get back to stock rom. Then you can do whatever you want with it.
I've been searching the web for how to root LG Optimus F3 for VM, I found nothing. I tried looking on how to root any Jellybean device all I got was a reboot and nothing. After upgrading from a Kyocera Event and having it root, I've missed all the features and it has just been one day. Can someone please share any information they have, on how possibly I can root my device.
Thanks!

I used link2sd in combination with this script http://androidforums.com/lg-optimus-f3/801368-mod-app2external_sd-fixed-duplicate-files.html Havent had an iussue with space since. There is a dev on the android forums working on the bootlocker and the kernel issues with reinstalling factory after recovery is rebooted.
I rooted my phone motochopper and I can't find any Roms for it. I get into ROM manager and I can't get any farther because my phone model isn't listed..what can I do?? I feel like I'm missing out because I can't get custom UI and all that. HELP PLEASE!

Ok so i am now rooted thanks to myself only got out dated answers this worked for me with my LG ls-720v7 (4.1.2 - jb)
First step download. SManager from market
Then get towleroot.apk link below
towelroot com/tr.apk
Then install the apk find it in your download directory but first make sure you allow unknown sources in settings_security after thats installed run it download su and busybox from market and then use root checker to see if you are now rooted.
O cant figure out how to swap internal with ext. Try this it also worked for me. Download Uni-init v1.0.apk from the market install it run it Click on Activate and allow with super user Click on Verify to make sure init.d is enabled Reboot your device Download any Root Browser you like from the play store or use smanager if you still have it Download 11extsd2internalsd from below
www mediafire com/view/8pwu65zzd10ow5z/11extsd2internalsd
copy it to your sd card Open Root Browser and copy 11extsd2internalsd and paste it /system/etc/init.d folder Hold click 11extsd2internalsd and set permissions and make sure everything is checked as far as Read, Write, and Execute. Open smanager and allow with root access Go to /system/etc/init.d and click on 11extsd2internalsd Click at the top where it has Su (lil android head) and Boot icons and hit save and then exit Reboot your device and your all done!
can't get the script to work ?

Tried a few time's can't seem to figure out what i did wrong . in smanager do you have it run as a script ? or executable? tried both ways and i got rid of the .txt on 11extsd2internalsd
The latest beta update, 2.0.102 have root option in the developers option, it don't seem t be working, its set to "apps and ADB" by default, but i cant get root access in therminal or anywhere, i tried to change the root manager app to SuperSU, but it cant install binaries, it says binaries need to be updated, then it just keep on trying to install it and then, it fails!
that option is just...well...an option!!

Then you must follow the instructions in the libnk above.
Or install rooted RemisOS from here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3299573
you cannot remount system with write access, since new initrd doesn't allow this. Try to replace initrd with this one:

Just bought the service and it seems rooted phones are blocked. I searched a bit and found some workarounds on other devices. Anyone got this working on OP2 w/ CM14.1? Thanks in advance.
alright hear is the solution for cm:
1)download es or any root explorer
2)go to /system
3)go to /system/bin find su and rename it su1
4)go to /system/xbin again find su and rename it to su1.

Thanks for the response. Gave this a shot, but no go via ES. Cleared cache on the app, re-installed, etc. Still getting the Error 40 or QP1005.

I'm a total noob on this. Not 100% sure. I had followed a cookie cutter guide a while back when I put on 14.1 from stock. Is there a way to confirm? I want to say stock cm, but not sure.
if its stock cm then this method should work because It will bypass Google pay or pokemon go no big deal for this one.
try to install any new root apps is it says privacy guard while you grant permission then it's cm root and this procedure should work, if its not CM's then might have to remove any other su binaries(like SUPERSU, PPHSU, etc) .

The system partition is read only from Android 10 and above. You can no longer modify system files from a root explorer. There may be already a solution somewhere but idk where...
Oh, that's unfortunate I'll just try to find a solution it's obviously not a life to death situation I'm just trying to change my boot animation

Well think I found an solution.
Some guy on discord helped me out by using some script I'll link the post

Solid Explorer is still working fine with Android 12. Majority of other Root Explorer apps no longer work, which used to work fine with earlier Android versions. I would advise to try Solid Explorer app.
