I bought a Samsung Galaxy S6 earlier and I'm getting this constant notification every 5-10 minutes reading something along the lines of “unauthorized actions have been detected” and “restart your device to undo any unauthorized changes” which does nothing. I've tried a complete wipe, updating my phone to the latest software, etc.
I'm almost certain it has something to do with Samsung's stupid "security" application KNOX. It is a hidden app that has no option to remove or disable.
Returning my handset isn't an option, I have the Iron Man Edition, so finding a replacement isn't exactly easy to do.
Currently I've paid the $2 and downloaded Package Disabler for the Play Store. 20 minutes in and that seems to be a temporary fix. I'm not willing to root my phone.
I'm on the same boat and I ****ing hate it.

Download Package Disabler from the Play Store. It completely stops those messages. Then we've got to wait for Samsung to fix the problem they've already acknowledged a month ago. Awesome.

Disable Knox is "shoot the messenger", but does not solve the problem of Samsung S6 Edge. I'm in Spain, Orange has changed me 3 times the S6 Edege for the same problem and now only allowed to send it to repair it in unused condition!. Samsung in Spain does not ensure that launch an update can solve the problem.

the problem buged me for a month and the whole month i wasn't even using it but going back and ford to sc and left ny phone there. Now, the only possible fix is update to 5.1.1 as update has been released and that solved my problem. say goodbye to 5.0.2 and update
What I did was to install and app call package disabler and turn off some aplicarían called security log agent and that was all, I don't receive more notifications and I'm not a root user

I'm getting a force close on "Samsung account" (com.osp.app.signin) during boot up. It happens two times in a row every time I reboot. Anyone experience this and/or know how to stop it from happening? I can't remove the account without factory reset which I don't really want to do.
Any ideas?
yeah, I have the exact same issue
I think it has to do with their servers. probably the same reason the other guy can't register.

I have recieved this twice. However I was on my work network and I assumed it weas just being blocked. I have not recieved it as of today though.
Me too.
I have the exact same issue and would rather not have to start from scratch. Any thoughts on how to fix this without doing a factory reset?
As a side note, is the Samsung Account sync supposed to be turned on? In Account Settings, the account is there but it is greyed out and I can't turn it on.
Mine did this today. I think it has something to do with it trying to access the net and check for updates before the system is fully loaded and wifi signal recieved. That's my take on what happened to me this morning.
Yeah mine was doing until I opened the Samsung apps app and it needed an update. So I'm pretty sure that was it cause it stopped crashing on me.
fixed it by updating Samsung apps.
Hello, i've got this too, what's your samsung app version ?
3.10.012 Is the updated version. If you open Samsung apps it should auto update.
Mine also had this issue and when I updated Samsung apps as pointed out above, the problem stopped existing.
I did the Samsung Apps update and it updated itself 3 times. Its strange. I still get force close on bootup.

I still see this too. It is SO annoying.
What if we don't have Samsung Apps, and never have?
My Gtab (have only had it for 2 days) is experiencing the same thing,. A few hours after signing into Samsung apps it started to do the FC trick. I have tried to find a way to update SAmsung apps but it appears to be up to date. It is very annoying and makes me wonder about my choice of tabs as TF is getting 3.2 today and from what I have experienced with Samsung this device may never ever see it. I admit the TW update will be very nice (I have a rom derived from the leaked update installed and it is quite nice)but I am more concerned at this point about the HC updates or more to the point Samsuing's track record concerning not getting updates out to their phones. The Gtab is a wonderful device and if SAmsung will just push out the updates as fast as Asus (or even close to as fast)is doing then it will be the Best tablet out IMO.

Looks like I found a fix for those who don't have Samsung Apps installed in their Galaxy Tab. I have a GT 10.1 Limited IO Edition... and though I'm sure it was installed when I first got it, it's not there anymore. Maybe it has to do with the 3.1 update??
Anyways, here's what I did to fix the issue:
1. Go to Settings, then Accounts & sync
2. Select Add account (on top right-hand corner) and choose Samsung account (fyi: I already had a Samsung account... it was made before the 3.1 update)
3. I created a new Samsung account... and filled out the necessary info (don't know if you can just sign into an existing account... maybe somebody can test this out).
That's about it... I think the issue has to do with the Samsung account made before the 3.1 update. It looks like only one Samsung account should be allowed per device, yet I was able to put a second one. Then, when I tried to add a 3rd one, it says, "Samsung Samsung account already exists in account manager".
Have rebooted 4 times without a force close. Hopefully this helps!

My GTab was doing this too. It also would not update Samsung Apps. It kept force closing. I reported a few times, for what good I do not know. However I fixed the issue of not updating last night and thouht I would share. Go into manage applications and choose Samsung Apps. Select the clear data button. Next select the force close button. Now go to your application home screen and choose Samsung Apps. It should then tell you that you have an update and install just fine. BTW, mine asked to update twice. I just went with it. It worked and Samsung Apps came up. I have not rebooted it yet but will update later if that force close issue has resolved itself with the update.
Update: The Samsung App process force close on startup has now gone away too.

Hello there! I have been having a bit of a problem lately. I own a BLU Dash 5.0 simunlocked from factory. It's a double sim model, which I have two sims, since the companies are spanish, let's call them Green Sim and Blue Sim (since that's how they are color coded in my status bar). It is also running Android Jelly Bean 4.2. Here is the problem. Ever since of March 20, a Chinese app appeared on my home screen, I don't know how, something called "Mobile Video" but the content was in a foreign Asian language. I suspect of my friend since I lent it to him for 15 minutes and then it appeared. Aside of this, the wifi and the Green Sim 3G was turned on.
I clicked on the app curious of it was something my friend downloaded from me, but then the app prompted me two options, I didn't know what it said since again, it was Asian. Next, I proceeded to uninstall it, going to my apps list, I was surprised to see another mysterious app, "Push_Down", that was the name. I uninstalled both Mobile Video and Push_Down. I thought I fixed the problem. Wrong.
Next day when I woke up, I found two new apps on my homescreen, and again, the Wifi and Green Sim 3G was on.These were Chinese also. I uninstalled them both and found once again "Push_Down" in my apps. After I uninstalled them, I thought the problem was finally fixed. Wrong again. Since this event, about every 2 or 3 hours, my Wifi and Green Sim 3G turn on automatically, but haven't downloaded anything new, one, because I have no credit left, and two, I have no internet at home. Ever since, daily I wake up, the same problem, the Wifi and 3G are on. I checked my SD Card, I checked my Phone Storage, both with 2 Antivirus (Avast!, and Lookout Mobile) and with Addons Detector. Surprisingly, nothing has appeared.
My last option is what hurts me most, to reset my phone, which I don't want to do since I have lots of apps installed, progress made with certain games and etc, etc. Also, I am not a root user, so I haven't rooted and won't root my phone.
Now, can anyone please help me? I am very annoyed at this happening everyday!
same problem...cheinese apps keep reinstalling
I too have had this problem for a few weeks now. Got a Chinese smartphone for Christmas (ok i know thats the first mistake, but it was worth a try for the money). mfaction royale mp720 (mpie comes up on the startup screen). Anyway i realised there where a few Chinese apps that came with it (pinyin and a app with a orange icon with a squirrel logo on it) so i unistalled these without problem. One chinese app i couldn't uninstall so i disabled it in the app settings
Everything had been working fine without problem and had been very happy with the phone until a week or so ago. started getting the apps described above installing. These include 'push_down' 'push_collect' 'filegogo' 'mobile video' and some others with chinese writing on them. I also get my phone setting itself to mute when these apps reappear. Keep uninstalling them but they keep coming back. Have tried AVG and Antimalware but they only flag things up as they install themselves, not the thing thats doing the installing. I thought that google account might be a problem so changed password and reset my phone to factory default. As a test i didn't connect back to google account. No joy. Although some apps have not reappeared some have and this morning a new one so i don't think its google account.
I did read some Chinese phones can have the malware embedded into the firmware but it's been fine for months. Perhaps there is a delay so your not likely to send the phone back then the malware begins. If this is the case then the only way round would be to root the phone then find the app or apps that are doing this. Not sure if it's easy to root one of these phones.
Anyone else had these symptoms after a full factory reset?. Anyone been able to sort it out? Anyone know of a guide to root his phone?
Hmmmmm....

Actually, as much as my experience from rooting, I haven't done it once again after a bad event I had, like almost bricking an old phone I had which for my good luck there was a way to restore it Ever since, I won't root anymore unless there exists a ROM backup by the manufacturer. But still, I don't know what's causing this. My phone has been fine since stock, I have more than 2 months with it! The problem started since last Thursday, which is why I suspect it's an app I downloaded or ad I clicked on. Any ideas?
(Also, thanks for your reply )
Ever since the lollipop update, my phone has been getting this Capacity for NFC services full: Not enough capacity to enable to service. Try disabling one or more services. I do not have NFC on, and when i do turn it on the same thing happens. It gives the option to cancel or change service. When i click on change service it goes to setting and says, Unfortunately, Settings has stopped. How do i stop this error?
Same issue here
Hi there.
Unfortunately I don't have a solution but just wanted to let you know that I have exactly the same problem. My Sony Xperia Z2 updated to Lollipop last friday and since then I get this annoying "capaciteit voor NFC-services is vol" message (it's in Dutch ) When I click on 'change settings' a new window is opened where it is not possible to change any setting. Switched NFC on and off but doesn't seem to do anything. The message keeps popping up irregularly...
Very annoying issue. Hope someone finds a solution.

Try Factory Reset
There must be a better way than just a factory reset, and not sure if that would actually solve the issue.
Just chiming in that I updated to Lollipop on my Z3 last night and am encountering the same issue.

I'm experiencing the same thing. Upgraded to Lollipop last month, but this only started a couple days ago. Not after installing a new app. Got low on disk space, which triggered a back up alert. Cleaned out my pics, but then started getting this error.

I think I figured it out. Suggested a bunch of apps that had bee recently updated on reddit, and the common denominator was the Scotiabank app, updated a few days ago.
Uninstalled, no NFC errors. I have written the dev, and hope for a response soon. That seems to be the cause, so check it out and post if it works for you.
Solution: Clear Google Play Services and NFC Service Data in Safe Mode
Don't know if this is a solution but it worked for me.
1) Boot into Safe Mode.
2) With NFC off, clear all data from NFC Service and Google Play service via Settings>Apps>All.
2.a) Clear data from any Mobile Payment/Banking App and any NFC enabled app.
2.b) Under the running apps, select via the top right dots to view cached apps.
2.c) Delete (Stop) them all. It can be tedious as some won't stop before others but persist and it can be done.
3) Restart phone and error is gone.
thanx, worked for me as well. remainings of android pay caused the problem on my mobile.
Hi Guy !
Same problem here.
Unfortunately no Scotia Bank, noting...
And when i get this message, it says that is current capacity used is.... 0%!!!
I begin to hate this phone :s
Thanks if you have any tip.

I've got a Z3 compact that I recently downgraded from LP to KK (no root). Upon booting into KK for the first time, a toast notification appeared stating that the NFC firmware was being updated. After that, the google play services updated and then this stupid "Capacity for NFC Services Full" message kept popping up. It only seems to pop up randomly and only goes away when I disable NFC, but I can't seem to get rid of it using any of the methods mentioned in this thread. Has anyone else ran into this? I've completely wiped my phone twice and continue to have the same issue.
All google searches result in useless forum threads about the Scotia Bank app causing this issue. I don't have that app, so it's gotta be something else.

It's caused by latest versions of google play services app. Older versions doesn't have this bug. Uninstall google play services update and "Capacity for NFC Services Full" message is gone forever. But I know It isn't a solution Only google can fix it...

Yeah, I figured Google Play Services was the issue, but if I uninstall and roll back to the original version the phone ships with, it isn't compatible with Google apps (music, youtube, etc). I was just hoping there was a better fix. For now, I've simply disabled NFC and turn it on before I use Android Pay. The extra clicks aren't really a big deal since I don't have a fingerprint scanner and need to touch the screen to unlock anyway. Plus, I don't use AP often enough to bother me. Thanks for the confirmation though!
Edit - after further thought, if Google Play Services is the cause, then why aren't more people affected by this and why wasn't my device affected all along. I only recently rolled back to KK and this issue started. The Google Play Services version is still the same, right?
As an Android developer who is working on NFC payment in a mobile wallet, I can tell that our team identified the source of the problem to reside in Sony's Android modifications. No other platform produces these errors. I can't yet link the forum thread, but google for "sony xperia off host apdu service capacity full", the result from talk.sonymobile.com will show further details.
So you can probably stop looking for the cause in Google products, or 3rd party wallet/banking apps. They (we) also suffer from this issue.
Sony isn't responding in the referenced thread, so this may not be fixed soon.
Sorry to tell bad news.
my phone has this issue today, it began right AFTER i did a factory reset... just wanted to clear it off and start again... now this??

The scary thing is this post was made 30-JAN-2016 and it's still being experienced.
Bought a Chinese Refurb Xperia Z3 Compact.
Android 4.4.4
Build 23.0.A.2.98
I'd only installed FTP Server Pro (to test 802.11ac bandwidth) by The Olive tree on an otherwise stock Z3C and after enabling NFC, the "NFC full" error message started popping up.
I followed the instructions above and managed to clear the cache/data on everything except one Twitter service which I couldn't stop.
After a reboot from safe mode, the phone is not showing the NFC error message.
I have enabled NFC and used it with a couple of NFC Bluetooth speakers and NFC tags around the house and it's working without errors.
Fingers cross, I won't see this message again.
Thnx
My Z3 Compact was running Android 5.0.2 since 2.5 years and I never encountered this pop-up. I never used NFC.
I changed to another mobile operator, and as soon as I replaced the SIM in my phone, I started getting this pop-up, saying that the space is 174% used.
I suspect the SIM being pre-configured for Orange Cash, although the application is not installed on my phone.
I tried the various workarounds mentioned in this thread and on Sony's forum, but none worked.
This phone is rooted, and I often get this pop-up when some "sudo" tasks are launched (kill process, freeze application, ...).
I have run out of ideas...
For those who still strugle with this shi* and clearing cache is not working:
1. Download and install any payment app, doesn't matter, won't use. I have Tap & go
2. Enable NFC
3. Go to Touch & pay in device section
4. Change from google play to installed app.
You can now disable NFC, no popup should occure
My V10 is running rooted stock ROM 11b, using this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...ic-add-rootsystem-tot-vs990-tungkick-t3336345 to obtain root. Some how my phone downloaded, or it was in the files already VZW Demo. Being rooted I froze the Retail Demo Mode 201 50801 2339, and uninstalled the VZW Demo app. IF I don't freeze the Retail Demo Mode prior to uninstalling the VZW Demo app. The app will reinstall itself with in a minute.
Things that happen when it goes into Demo mode. Screen maxes out brightness. It turns on location, It turns on NFC, and I am not, and then it ask, or actually tells me that it's installing a component. There is no component name just a loading symbol.
Other things that is happening All my G-Apps are crashing, and my second no longer displays anything when the screen is on, or off. As far as the G-Apps I have tried uninstall, and reinstalling. The only time it doesn't crash is if I take both Gmail, and Google Play Services to factory versions, but if I do that then I can't use the other apps.
Any insights on how to fix?

this is the most unhelpful thread in phone history I think. I would help you if I could. I've asked several questions in the past few days and never get an answer. Do you know how to return to full stock? I want to enable advanced calling but can't get it to work on rooted 5.1.1 And I think i'm going to just go ahead and take 6.0 anyway since I'm not really having any advantages on root with xposed other than a few minor things.

Advanced calling you have to activate on Verizon. I just factory reset my phone. Google no longer crashes, but it's still not giving my emails in a timely manner. I run root for the ad blocking.
As the title says I can't disable that service I'm using Package Disabler Pro to deactivated every bloatware in my V30 H-931 but every time I try to disable my phone restarts is there a way to disable without having to root my phone?

Using Package Disabler Pro on V30 will probably cause lag in your system. You must be coming from an older phone and you don't yet know how newer LG firmware works? You will end up removing stuff the system looks for, which causes lag.
LG has a lot of firmware intertwined. You yank something out, it's not in an isolated silo like the old days. It's like a spiderweb.
Using Titanium Backup to freeze "unwanted" apps/services is better. If you see lag, then you can UNfreeze. Yes, that requires root.
If you mess things up too badly with Package Disabler, then you'll be factory resetting to bring everything back. Lots of people have had to do that. We've had this phone since 2017, so we know how it all works.
