So I looked at the bacon change logs for the nightlies and noticed a fingerprint scanner and duel sim option that was added into the code.
Check the nightly zip for yesterday (11th June)

So does this hint that its duel sim?

Maybe they release a dual sim edition too.
Can't wait
This is stuff being merged into CM for all devices, nothing to do with the OP2.
If anything this is probably related to the fact that Android M is going to have fingerprint support built into AOSP, so perhaps this is stuff that's being backported to Lollipop.
Dual sim. Dual. D-U-A-L.
lol
Also, if it's dual sim and doesn't have an SD card slot, I'll hunt the designer down.

I'm English so I spell things differently (and dyslexic)
I have to disagree with the sdcard slot as the only need is if you have tons of music or lots of 4K video...

I used to think removable sd was important but i struggle to fill the 32gb internal storage on my note 4 and it seems to cause some issues with software every once in a while so i think i can do without.

I'm using the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, which is a pretty good phone.
After seeing Xperia C4,Xperia C5 Ultra and now Xperia M5 got android 5.1 update out of the nowhere should we expect it on M4 soon?
Those phones should skip 5.1 and go directly ti 6.0 but Sony changed their minds...
Only M4 left on 5.0 for now...
Keep in mind that c4, c5 and m5 use same mediatek chipset so once 5.1 came for c4 it was matter of time to appear also for c5 and m5. Our M4 aqua uses qualcomm chipset so i do not expect 5.1 for it. It should be easier for sony to get 6.0 working on the qualcomm than on mediatek so i think that we will get directly 6.0 while c4, c5 and m5 will get it later than us and that's why sony released 5.1 for these models to calm down the owners. We will see.

Where did you get this information from?
Official the S6 and S6 edge will get 6.0 february/march. And for the M4 it says first quarter, so it's more likely end of march or second quarter
Never seen any real date for any Sony Xperia phones and marshmallow, so a month time for M4 is very unlikely. First of they need to roll it on z5 series, then the rest of the z series. And lastly on other Xperia models... I hope we get 6.0 before summer.

Also, people can get very anxious about UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE, but have you seen what's in these updates? Barely anything, from what I can see. Even the major updates from 5.0 to 6.0. How much of it is visible to the consumer?
Bug fixes (don't care)
developer tools (don't care, not releveant),
driver updates (don't care)
oh and they fixed the sound toggles that they broke in 5.0 that nobody liked. Wow, thanks!
zzzzzzzz
When Android 10.0 comes out call me. Maybe there'll be something new.
In M4's case, we will get a possibility to use SD card as a phone memory, and considering the lack of space this phone has, marshmallow is a big thing...

In XperiFirm i see that there is a new firmware released for Denmark, Nordic and Baltic (E2303) 26.1.A3.93. Going by the number looks like the firmware could be 5.1.
has any one got the update, can any one confirm.
It's not 5.1. It is still 5.0, but my phone got 300mb extra free space. They have removed something. Haven't found what it is yet.
My FW is 26.1.A.3.92. Upgraded this morning through Xperia companion.

I have the north American 16GB version.
- SD card as expanded internal memory (I don't care).
And I'm a consumer. Of course I get to evaluate the $300 products I buy and their support. "crappy post" doesn't make sense.

If it isn't relevant to you, why comment? There are always bug fixes and security fixes that do matter to a lot of people, whether you include yourself in that group or not is a moot point.

Why did I comment? Go back to the first post. The first post talks about ETAs for arrival of the next major Android update. The entire point of my comment, which you've apparently missed, was that I'm not convinced by anything I've read about the update that is a significant improvement from the customer standpoint, so I'm relaxed about the ETA. My point is valid, even if it's different to your's, or just because you don't understand. Moot that. There's nothing more useful for me in this thread so it's my final comment to you.
Hey im about to order 3 redmi note 4 phones but i just wanted to check one thing i am looking at the 64gb global version with 4gb of ram and the snapdragon 625 soc
is there any other difference between the 64gb and 32gb version with 3gb of ram?
and is the rom support the same for both from what i have seen there is no separate roms for the 64gb version so im assuming it is the same as the 32gb version other than the storage and ram but i just wanted to check before i ordered them
Thanks

Yes, you're correct. Everything's same except RAM & ROM. As you said, Roms are compatible. Better get 64gb variant as you'll get MOAR AND MOAR storage. :silly:

Is there really a Snapdragon version with 4Gb/64GB? Unless this is an absolutely new development, all 4GB/64GB versions I have seen are MTK.

Ofc, for some time already. I have one for $270. It's really worth it, they are brand new.. on my box it says the phone was manufactured at 07.2017 so the phone left factory less than a month ago, crazy.
Well, well - it seems that Xiaomi is really going strong with the SD RN4. Perhaps we will also get an SD 6Gb/128GB soon? Personally, I would prefer better cameras, NFC, and a 5000mah battery ...:fingers-crossed:
Hey just wondering if some of you are running a treble rom. Which one and how it compares to TouchWiz.
Thanks
I haven't tried it, but according to the ones that have tried it, everything works, except dual stereo speakers, fingerprint kinda works but there are some bugs, and of course.. All Samsungy tech, iris scanner, aperture changes etc.. It can be a daily driver though if you can live without those features.. The good things is, it's smooth as silk.. The performance and battery life are on par with the stock..
I'm really sure sooner or later the fingerprint bug and dual stereo speakers will be fixed.

Oh cool, thanks for the reply. Hope there will be a AOSP rom soon ^^
Maybe we need a thread to discuss about treble rom and with a guide how to flash with a index of treble rom. I want to made it, but my English it's not so cool. Maybe with the help of a mod it can be possible
The HK models can have project treble roms right?

Hello.
I have been searching for a while now, looking through various ROMs for my Samsung Note 4 Duos SM-N9100.I have tried several builds, many from this site, and they were old good. All of them were vast improvemts over teh stock rom, and battery life was especially improved(granted,I've had teh phone for 6 years, but duration between charges was still tripled).Unfortunately, all of teh builds I could find - and I did search, a lot, and tried a lot of them - had a big negative for me: none of them would support teh dual sim feature. in all of them, only the first sim card was active - the second was not even detected.
Does anyone know where I can find a rom (be it based on Nougat, Oreo, Pie,Q, whatever ) for teh note 4 duos that actually has both sim cards work?
Any help would be appreciated.

me too and my N9100 has both sim cards work. let 's flash " Note4_ApocalypseX_M_Tron_LITE_v8.1.0-BY_Star53 " and flash " flash kernel RC2 "
it based on MM.
Likely a moot point anyway as most providers now/soon only offer LTE and the 2nd SIM is limited to 2G or 3G IIRC (I might be wrong tho, perhaps it was just a software thing?)
