I am assuming you can't download using your data plan?
Check your settings and see if you have a data limit checked on. This might stop you from using the data for apps etc . I think try enabling background data too. (Press menu in your data usage page for the options to tick) make sure you don't put a limit and enable mobile data

I would bet that you need to check (and change) your APN settings, if you aren't able to use mobile data properly.
Google for your provider's settings and enter them accordingly.

Problem installing apps

Just a quick question for everyone. The last day or two I haven't been able to install any apps except from the market. I've downloaded a couple apks and when it comes up with the install screen it shows me the permissions requested but when I hit install nothing happens. If I hit cancel it works but it is like the install button is locked. I have tried multiple apks and checked to make sure verify apps was disabled. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just thought I'd let everyone know, it turns out it was my auto brightness app.I had to go in and add package installer to the list of excluded apps.

Can't install or update non play store apps

Every time I try to install an app the page pops up with the cancel and install buttons, when I hit cancel it works but when I hit install nothing happens as if it's not even a button. I install non market apps all the time and I've never had problems so I am lost as to what I'm supposed to do but it's really annoying and I need to fix it.

Simply push the APK to /data/app and restart your device.
Did you recently install a screen dimmer or any app that overlays a mask on the screen? If you did then disable it first and then try installing whatever apks your trying to install.
No I don't currently I heard about that though, about two months ago I had lux auto brightness installed and had no problem but it's gone now and I've had no problem until now

Yes more info like She said. If you repair the gear S it will erase everything and start fresh. You restarting and it wipes everything
I knew what OP means. When you make settings change on your watch while it is not connected to the phone, or even connected, it will be overridden by the original settings from the Gear manager app on the phone once it is connected. I now always make changes on the phone just to be sure. Buggy software from Samsung.

I've lost the Quick Memo (or whatever it's called) app

Hey gang,
I'm on a rooted Tmobile variant and I just recently noticed I don't have the Quick Memo app. It seems like it's called something else now but basically the same thing. I've not done anything other than rooting. I froze some apps but I went back into Titanium Backup just to be sure anything that could even remotely have disabled the app was defrosted. I found (what appears to be) the app in the system. I installed it via the apk... Checked the permissions etc. It just doesn't seem to be workin. I know it was before I rooted it last week..... Weird... Any thoughts on this?
Anyone had the same issue?

Try going to about phone option under settings and select update center. Select app updates and see if it's installed there.
