Minimus is back! I built Minimus on the idea of minimalism. The idea behind Minimus is a stock like ROM with the benefits of essential features that enhance the stock experience.
Features:
CM Theme Engine support
Advance Reboot
Screenshot delete
Switch apps via recents hold
Quick Unlock
Volume Rocker wake and Music Controls
Volume Adjust Sound
Instructions
1. Download ROM and Gapps.
2. Boot into custom recovery of your choice.
3. If you're coming from a different ROM, I suggest you perform a factory reset using TWRP
4. a) Clean Installation: Flash ROM, GApps.
b) Dirty Flash: Flash ROM
5. Reboot and enjoy.
Download:
ROM: Minimus - 07/17/15
Gapps: TK Gapps
Older builds
FYI: Kernel Source is stock
Big thanks to:

Hey bud. Just flashed this ROM, and everything seems to be good so far! Stock with theme chooser! Something I've been wanting for a while, now Just letting you know, though. ROM does NOT come with a launcher. If you flash TK gapps then it will, but otherwise it won't. Luckily the Play Store popped up for me in my recents so I could install GNL, but yeah man. Just letting you know.

I intend not to bloat the ROM up with features. Like you said, there are plenty of ROMs out there that have every feature available. I want to keep minimus to a minimum when it comes to features.

Some useful features would be quick unlock, and a clear all recents button. That would be it. I understand exactly what you mean when you say you wanna keep it stock with a few features, but those features should've been in stock AOSP in the first place.

Oh! My bad, dude. Late nights at work, lol. I flashed back to Chroma because of some certain features not included (I mean that in no disrespect to you or your work whatsoever), and because I've come to find out that my phone doesn't play nice with ElementalX kernel. But I'll definitely be coming back on the next build.

Additional note:
Slim should now also work on the SGH-S959G (untested).
If coming from 4.1 (Slim Bean 3.x) do a full wipe. In case of an upgrade (Beta1->Beta2) wipe cache/dalvik and only do full wipe if you have any problems.

I just went into Daydream settings and chose Clock and let it daydream.
I'm getting the clock daydream issue also, plus this when the app drawer is on vertical continuous using the preinstalled Holo launcher or Apex. It's fine when on paginated, though.
Just tested daydream and got the same results as Ninja. The numbers bleed into one another on the minute change.
Everything else running perfect, however. Been testing battery; 19 hours off charge and at 21%.

What are the chances of getting a status bar display brightness slider added to this ROM? I did not see that feature - use it all the time with AOKP and cannot do without.
Also, any plans on allowing the camera to save to the external SD card?

These are unofficial AOKP builds. Please do not post in official AOKP threads with bugs or negative experiences possibly specific to these builds.
HI Everyone. I have compiled an unofficial version of AOKP 4.2.2 for our device.
So far i will not cherry picked, this is just PURE AOKP 4.2.2 with the latest commits.
I will try to get stable builds but no promises because it depend on cm 10.1 latest commit (device tree, kernel etc etc). I am not a developer just an Android and AOKP fan who wants to help out by getting the latest commits out for our device and AOKP in general.
I will continue to sync and build new versions whenever there are major AOKP updates, or they release a new milestone or stable build. (No promise tho )

Building and publishing rom is easy..maintaining, fixing error and updating it, is not that easy.. So i hope that developers from team canjica and other devs can teach me how to update and fix error in this rom.. plus, i am also still learning about c++ and how to commit change in github.. I want to bring something for this device..
Sent from my GT - I9070 using xda premium
Okay, I've flashed and tested the rom for 12+ hours, and I'm comparing it to CM10.1
-very smooth, in fact smoother than cm10.1 itself!
- general UI more glitchy, but, surprisingly games are less glitchy than cm10.1!
-battery life better than cm10.1 with similar use
-every feature otherwise works prefect, and in fact I would recommend this over cm10.1 because I'm able to overlook the slight extra glitches for a battery and performance boost! Not to mention the awesome added features
Hope this helps @assassin0408

It is great tha finally we can have AOKP on 9070. Huge Thank You I just hope you will keep it as clean and bloatware free as possible. Stock Android experience is by far the best you can get. So if you could just concentrate on fixing things rather than adding features, I would be more than happy.
I`ve waited for this! Thanks, dude! Waiting for updates!

ThinkingBridge project consists of people (around the world now) that want to learn how to do things related to the Android Open Source Project. It's not just a fork that has a few features added in and some themes changed, or a project that just wants to see how many devices can be ported. We've all learned something in the process of porting devices, and creating features, and continue to do so. With contributions from other forks like CyanogenMod and CodeAurora we are able to learn from them and continue even with older devices.
Also, all of the sources can be publicly viewed through Github.
ThinkingBridge Feature list:
Chameleon Engine (Note: http://youtu.be/9UuO5YiZag8)
- Support statusbar auto change color
- Support change the color of all the resources available for the Android

- Support If the statusbar icon is black, you can change the color
[*]ListView Animation (Note: http://youtu.be/JcdMNrQ-BLY)
- Support listview on animations
[*]ThinkingBridge Launcher (Note: http://youtu.be/oAoCA7SwNzo)

Man this status bar colors API are nice if we can see it more often in other ROMs .. too bad it's exclusive ..
Flashed this an hour ago and i am loving chameleon engine ! Amazing work guys !

But if i complie from your github (Which i found on ThinkBridge G+) and cherry pick some other features the Chamelon os will be there right?
I think you should put in the OP the list of feaures that the rom has, but beside from that I'll try it just for the chameleon engine, which looks so cool from the screenshots (I can't see the video )

3.) Flash a 4.4.2 compatible GApps - I suggest Paranoid Android's
4.) Reboot System
5.) Enjoy!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
***NOTE: Dirty flashing (i.e. wiping only cache and dalvik cache) is not recommended, but will most likely work coming from an OmniROM 4.4.2 nightly. I have only tested this with instructions supplied above so I cannot promise a dirty flash will work. If you choose to dirty flash, make you have reliable backup ***

Yes, this was synced as of 7 PM last night. I will plan on keeping this up to date as well; not nightly builds but a couple a week. I also have another build just like this that includes lock screen notifications if anyone wants that. I haven't tested it yet so that's why I haven't posted it.

Anybody want to test this ROM plus lock screen notifications? If not, I'll test this weekend and post it if all goes well.

Alright cool. I'll post that version when I get home which should be within the next 5-6 hours. Are there any unmerged features in Omni's gerrit that anyone would like to try?

Sorry it took a little more time than expected.
The new build is up. As previously stated, I have not tested this yet so I'm not sure how it will work. I cherry picked the multi-window feature then built that. Immediately after building and testing, I cherry picked the lockscreen notifications; everything went smooth without errors and built just fine as well.
I do plan on continuing these builds. I will update to include the latest commits as well as keeping up with the nightlies. I will not build every night, but I will build relatively often.
I am also open to adding new features as long as they are in the OmniROM gerrit. I will eventually get to learning how to cherry pick other features from other ROMs, but since I'm still new to this, I will stick with experimental Omni features for now.
I'm thinking about a few other features I may pick in the near future, let me know what you think:
- On-The-Go Mode
- Battery Saver Mode
- Smart Stay (similar to Samsungs)
Unofficial AOSPA for the msm8960dt

Pretty dope ROM bro! I love how large my screen feels now with no navbar n hidden status bar. Wish there were more settings though all around. Specially for the pie, that'd be sweet. Oh and I took an OTA update on the ROM for today or last nights build and suddenly I have no halo anymore? [emoji46] Regardless, great ROM so far! [emoji108]

Yeah immersive is awesome you can use halo as the status bar and it works great! I'm just a builder right now not quite a modder! And that ota wiped halo because that's pa if you want halo you will have to look in this thread each time they update. Beta 5 didn't add much so...

The OTA app will always go to AOSPA's official builds. If you're going to use an unofficial build, I'd recommend turning off checking for ROM updates. You'll have to update it from here.
