Hi Guys, I am trying to install CM HammerheadCAF latest nightly build on my nexus 5.
So I flashed recovery TwrpCAF latest version and then flashed hammerheadCAF latest nightly build and i didn't get any error
But when I Selected boot from the TWRPCAF Screen, phone starts and doesn't go beyond a screen with the text "Google" and a unlocked lock logo at the bottom of the screen.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong or what am I missing. I have installed it several times with no luck. Please help. Thanks

Hello guys!
I tried to update the latest nightly on my phone (the last one was from July 2013, so I think it was still CM 10.1) with the CM Installer and rebooted.
Unfortunately I got an error message while in the update screen with the green Android figure and now I am stuck in Philz Touch 4 Recovery menu.
I already tried a factory reset, but I always end up in this recovery menu after restart.
How can I make my phone working again?
I am grateful for any help!
thank you in advance

Reflash the stock firmware and repeat steps again.
My phone keeps prompting me to update, so when I press accept, it restarts, i see the green android logo, then i very briefly see it show him lying down with some red writing (implying it's failed), then it boots up.
When I get to my homescreen, it then prompts me to install the update again. it's done this around 5-6 times, and it just won't install.
What do I do?
4.4.2

kernel version - 3.0.64 CM
CM version - 11.0-installerXNPQ08Q

try to update your recovery to its latest version..
Try to update from recovery: simply flash the zip file.
From this link you can download the latest CM 11 nightly or M release (more stable than nightlies): http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=i9300
If you continue to have problems, flash the latest Philz Recovery via Odin, probably your CyanogenMod stock one is very buggy.
Ps your rom is very old, updating without a data wipe (losing all your apps, settings and files stored in internal memory) you might have problems due to the great system changes. Surely you didn't updates since M7... or earlier!
Hi, I've had my Z2 tablet for a while now. Soon after opening the box, I had the device rooted and cyanogenmod installed, however, this came with a problem that i have now had for ages, whenever i install or update my CM version, it automatically wipes the recovery i have installed, and installs the crappy CM recovery. I have since tried to flash other recoveries, they say they have worked in Command Prompt, but when i boot into recovery, i am greeted by the Cyanogenmod recovery. Help please!
SGP512 Wifi only, 32GB, CM12 Nightly, latest as of 24th Feb 2015
I'm working with a 32GB WiFi version of the Nexus 9. I've successfully unlocked the device. I believe I've flashed the device with CM 12.1 dated 20151030. When I reboot, the device is stuck at the "Google" screen.
I installed TWRP 2.8.7.1 and copied over the zip files for CM and CGapps, installed again and got the same result.
I've put CM on many devices in the past (Nexus 1, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7, Nexus 4, Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3) and I've never had this much trouble. What else can I try?
same here - tried to flash CM12.1 20151030 and 20151029 - both times stuck at "google screen"
Particularly first boot, it takes a good ten minutes to boot up after installing CM. Just be patient.
But the long time is on the flashing logo, isnĀ“t it? Not at the fist google logo... ?
Well - i give it a try.

Waited 35 minutes - still stuck at the google logo....
I also waited for about 10 minutes, but that blasted "Google" logo is still there. I would have expected to see the Cyanogenmod logo by that time.
Next try: Flashed CM 12.1 and GApps via Nexus Root Toolkit 2.0.5 - now ROM and GApps work fine.
Same problem here with TWRP 2.8.7.1
How did you do?

My tablet had Android Marshmallow installed and the Nexus Root Toolkit (NRT) won't let me use the "Flash zip..." option because no custom boot image is available.
So, I've tried to downgrade to 2 different version of Android using NRT and each time the tablet won't finish booting -- I just see the red, blue, green, and yellow circles spinning around.
Any other suggestions?
I'm in the same position. Flashed CM12.1 RC and the newest gapps 5.1. Everything seems to install correctly in twrp recovery mode and when I hit reboot, it stays on the "Google" screen. I've tried NRT as well with no luck.
In order to succesfully flash CM 12.1 you need to flash the Stock ROM 5.1.1 (LMY47X) the problem seems to be the vendor, as you can read here http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-9/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-0-unnoficial-t3006725
Greets
You can also use Nexus Root Toolkit:
http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/
Go to advanced utilities - flash zip
Then flash CM12.1
Has worked for me!
finally I installee stock rom 5.1.1 and after that it can boot with CM

I finally successfully built CM13 from source for higgs2g, but after install, I rebooted, it stucks on the splash screen 3 seconds, then reboots to recovery.. :/
I think the cause of that is the outdated kernel version (3.10.17, the only available kernel for SM-G350E), but how to build a new version of the kernel?
Thanks in advance
