Random Text - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

I get random text messages when turning my phone off and back on... I'm using an unlocked T-Mobile HTC One M7 with the AT&T Straight Talk sim card
Stock HTC One M7 running Android 5.0.2 and Sense 6.0

This is the random text I keep getting.

[Q] Missing Calls/Texts with custom ROM

I recently flashed to FroydVillain 1.5.0 and the ROM_Radio_G3_Radio_HERO_63.18.55.06S_6.35.17.03 radio and I've been experiencing some strange things.
During a call (an important one so Murphy and his law were surely not going to leave well enough alone), the phone not only DROPPED the call, the phone actually rebooted.
I find that my phone will miss/not receive the signal from my carrier and I'll miss both calls and texts.
UPDATE: I just want to clarify on the missed calls. They will go straight to voicemail and then between 2 and 24 hours later I'll get a text saying I have "9 New Voicemail". This, as you can imagine, is problematic at best.
Is this a ROM Problem? (Okay the phone rebooting likely is. But the calls and Texts?) Is this a carrier thing?
Also, as an aside since I'm planning ahead: For those who have done this before, how do you go about getting rid of still functioning smartphones to upgrade to the latest and greatest? I kinda want to move on to an HTC Desire Z with Bell but I don't want to just pitch my Hero either.

GSM question....without flashing/rooting for ATT in USA?

I read the massive post about how the Rezound can now work on a GSM network with flashing/rooting. My question is can it be done without doing either of those? Did the ICS update make it possible? I am asking these questions because my girlfriend wants the Rezound but has a contract with ATT. I'm not super tech savvy when it comes to these type of things, so if its an easy fix or the ICS update fixed it then I'd happily get her the phone. From everything I've read everybody seems to be extremely happy with it, I just switched from an iPhone to a One X and cant believe I ever picked up an iPhone.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
You might have to be rooted to get 3g to work.
Why would you get a phone for $700 from a different carrier, pay for an AT&T sim card, and go through all the trouble and issues of using a CDMA phone on a GSM network when you can get a One x for a third of the price, with LTE, and without any issues?
Yeah what he said ^
Have her get an HTC one X or wait till the One X+ hits. The one x kills the Rezound, and it's a lot of trouble to get 3G working on the Rezound

[Q] blacklisted?

my HTC one is showing up as black listed online and att has confirmed (long story). however I'm making calls and texting as normal. will my service shut off at one point? or is it a mistake. the phone is rooted and running stock 4.3.

[Q] inquiry regarding your Cyanogenmod 11 for HTC Rezound post

Hi all,
First of all thanks for all your contributions to end users like me.
But my situation:
I've bought a HTC Rezound. I'm living in Iran so I'm using a local GSM carrier other than Verizon. My phone runs an ICS 4.0.3 and HTC Sense 3.6.
Somehow it is S-Off and HBoot 2.27.0000(I took a picture of recovery page just to help). The problem is when I insert my SIM card into the phone it does not find any wifi network whatsoever even though I scan it. Without a SIM card inserted into the phone, it's OK(It finds wifi and connects successfully as well). I tried your custom ROM but then another problem arises and sending SMS breaks!(The same problem with other custom ROMs!!!)
I would be appreciated if you help me.
Thanks in advance,
M. Saboori

Hi,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA about this. So your thread will be moved to your device section. I would definitely NOT do this unless someone with credibility says it's perfectly safe. ?
