I install games from Play Store, these games are always with big size. I want to have a backup of these games (apps) as APK and Data Files to share it instead of downloading it many times.
I found many web sites to download games APK and DATA but I don't know how they make it???
Hi Friends,
Can anyone help me?
The apk's can be extracted with SDMaid. Open the app, click on appcontrol, than search your app you want, click on it and click: extract apk.
For the data, just go to Android/obb or Android/data with your file explorer

Titanium Backup does all of that (data too), but it needs root. I found myself quote satisfied using this tool, however be careful if you want to restore a custom ROM with the saved data and apks you used on another one, there might be some incongruences with the system apps that may harm your phone.
Ciuffy's SM-G900F CM 12.1 spirit hath marked this way.

Are those apps installed on your phone?
If yes, then imo they are in /data.
But if you want apk's of the apps just download mybackuppro and select backup option and choose those apps.....all the apk's of those apps will be in rerware folder of sdcard...
Hope this helps.................
Once you paid for an app on market, you can install it unlimited number of times on any phone logged in your google account, factory reset & custom rom etc doesn't really matter.

Use Titanium Backup to uninstall the ones you don't want or a file browser and delete them from system/app

There's also multiple gapps packages out there. You could find a much smaller one that only contains the bare essentials and then install what you want from the play store. The down side to this is that the downloaded apps will use up internal storage where as apps included with the gapps package will use up your system storage (seperate partition.. or at least it is for the N4, it may be different here).

Find the gapps package that you need for you're rom and download it on you're PC... then use 7zip or another like program to open the zip....only in archive.. only in archive... :good:...do not unzip/extract it... after you have it up on you're PC.. in a window with 7zip/ect...remove the apk's you don't want and close it... push it to the phone and flash away...
Just be careful what you delete... there is a minimal gapps package around... where you could see what you can delete and what you need..
I mean you could delete everything but the playstore stuff and be functional, but some apps will only work correctly if they are part of the system partition... you could then push them to system app w/rom tool box or a similar app...
I get this error when I try to download Pandora from the market. I searched how to fix it but nothing works for me. One of the solutions was to go to the root folder then data/data to delete the left over data from the phone But it's empty. Any help would be appreciated. I transferred a bunch of stuff over from my old phone so I think I brought over some data too.
Any update on this??
Delete the entire folder if you can that normally fixes it for me. Also try restarting the phone, that might work too.

Are you rooted? Does this error only happen for certain apps or all apps? If it's for certain apps you might want to find any files that are used by the app and delete them, on both internal and external storage.
I normally fixed this on my s3 by deleting the app folder in /data/data but I don't think you can do that without being rooted.
Yes im rooted I was using pandora I deleted but when trying to install the new version the error appear, and the phone is running on art..and yes I enter android/data but no folder associated with pandora.

Not android/data but /data/data from root. It's in there that you have to delete the folder associated with Pandora. You need some sort of file manager that can go into that area, I use ES file manager but you can use whatever app you want.
Thanks for your help, I use ES file but inthe data/ data there in no folder..I'm trying to upload a screenshot but I cant
By using root explorer, I found base.apk files of each and every app I installed from Google Play Store. Those are not system app. The file size of those base.apk files are same as shown in the play store app info tab. I think those are the apk files which are downloaded to install the apps and won't affect anything if I delete them. BUT I'm not sure about that and that's why I need advice from someone who has experience about this....
As long as you have installed the app, I don't think it matters if you delete the apk

Thanks for the reply. I don't want to take any risk. I want to make sure that there won't be any problem if I delete them....
That file(base.apk) is used by applications like shareit or other app backup apps to backup/share the apk file(the one of which base.apk belongs to). So, keep that in mind and do whatever you want
If you are tired to get free space although you deleted large videos on your android, then you need to delete APKs that automatically stored on your android every time you install or upgrade your applications.
Here is how to delete Apks:
