a while ago i updated my galaxy s4 to kitkat and rooted it , at which time i didn't know about Knox warranty void. recently i was trying to flash my i9505 with the official lollipop firmware but to no success and in Odin mode the Knox counter is at 1. and after much googling i found that once the Knox warranty is ticked there i no way of going back and i cant install any higher official firmware because they are Knox enabled. so my question is is there anyway to flash my s4 with official lollipop firmware from sammobile or if its not possible what about custom roms can i flash my phone with them if so please do tell custom roms which are very similar with the official Samsung ROM.
additional my mobiles is originally a sprint variant of s4 which is now unlocked so must i use the firmware for l720(snapdragon) or any firmware for i9505 works. also i was able to flash CWM recovery on it with odin with out any problem but i always get error when i try to flash it with official firmware as soon as it starts and in odin mode it says write protection is enabled..............any help will be appreciated.

Rooting your phone doesn't change your firmware.. You're still on the stock firmware unless you flashed a new rom. Goto settings>about device> and see your build.. Then goto Sammobile and downlaod the rom that is listed for Panama and matches your carrier or build whichever. Download it and flash it rom via Odin and you'll be unrooted.
though i don't see any point in unrooting. Rooted is always better.

follow the guide in the stickies!
to get fully back to stock you need to reset the counter (yours shows 1), flash stock recovery etc., all discussed 10 times in the guides.
---edit: here you go
Hello , My I9300 is running MK7 Bootloader (part of 4.3 firmware) , and NO matter what i tried TriangleAway wouldn't reset the flash counter, so from what i understand I have to flash older Bootloader to get T/A working again , i have the XXELLA file , a 4.1.2 bootloader that from what i read supposed to still work with T/A , but as my phone is running on 4.3 bootloader i am afraid flashing a 4.1.2 bootloader will brick it , tried to do a search but couldn't really find much data on flashing 4.1.2 bootloader when a 4.3 one is installed.
Why start a new thread? Read the other one you already posted in.

Sorry, but there are so much misunderstandings about knox counter tripping. Some sources say, that downgrading via Odin using stock firmware will trip KNOX counter, some - that it won't. As understand, it depends on the mobile phone model.
So the same old question:
I have G850F stock Android Lollipop 5.0.2 (upgraded officially via Android itself) not rooted. And i want to downgrade to 4.4.4 via Odin using the stock firmware at sammobile. Will this method trip my KNOX counter ?
No, it doesn't affect KNOX (i've SM-G850F too)
If knox is already tripped then it will remain the same way but if its not tripped yet then odin will not trip it
So i have a problem with my s3 i bought a new motherboard for it couple of days ago and i install it and everything and i put on stock rom everything is working fine atm.
But when i try to install any custom rom i tried dokdo and miui and back to n00t and all of them i get an error that it cant find my sim but on stock 4.3 it works did anyone have a problem like this if anyone knows how to fix this pls help and yes i have imei and baseband.
Was the phone running the latest bootloader and modem before you flashed a custom rom?

I was running a stock rom on a stock kernel for the modem i dont know.
Sounds to me like the bootloader and modem are too old for the custom rom. Flash the latest stock rom from Sammobile.com to ensure the modem and bootloader are matched and up-to-date.
Are you sure it is an i9300 motherboard? Not a Korean or Japanese version?
You can confirm the model number by booting into Odin mode.
Yea the motherboard is GT-I9300 so its international version
I have downloaded from sammobile and tried custom rom stillno work but when i got the motherboarc it had android 4.1.3 or 4.1.2 i dk
You confirmed the model number in Odin mode? What error are you getting in the Odin log?
There is no error it says that its custom and nothing else
The Odin log comes from the app, not the Odin screen on the phone.
On the phone's Odin screen, it says gt-i9300?
On the phone it says that its gt-i9300 but when i connect my phone to odin it dosent say anything
