I was wondering if there were any forums for the Archos(Argos) series of smartphones..
I guess here is fine for that, though there is an official forum request thread somewhere on XDA, to request the creation of new threads.

Hey guys, I was searching to see if I should remove the package "GPSID" from the SYS, and I stumbled upon this:

Though it does not answer my query, but I think this kind of information will really help people in cooking and customizing roms for themselves as well as the community.
Can we have a similar page here on the GENE section, or a thread which can be used to serve this purpose. I think the master chefs (btw, a big thanks to all of you for your work) can help n00b people like me through this.

What was the need to create this thread? There is already a thread dedicated to Gene Wiki, you should've posted there. If everybody starts creating threads for anything they have on mind, soon this forum will become a mess. Requesting mods for closing this thread.

I just wanted to know who is moderating the Galaxy 5 Forums. It would be nice if you would allow me to moderate these forums as I am an active developer of MAD Team, which is basically the only group that is working on this phone's firmware. It would be nice as I would know which threads are important to sticky and help keep this forum in order.

I did a forum search and surprisingly didn't see anything come up for this. At any rate, someone ported libpurple over to android but it lacks a gui, and probably needs a bit of polish.
I don't have enough posts to link to the project page but if you google pidroid it's the first result that pops up, some guy at university of waterloo in canada did the libpurple port, with the files available to download.
Maybe someone here could pick up the project and make an app out of it? I know myself and alot of others I know that use pidgin would love an android port, specifically for the OTR stuff.

This is indeed a Q&A forum. However, it is one for the I9100. One of many Android devices.
You asked a question about an iDevice developer. Judging by your last post you also seem to think iDevice developers who don't appear to even develop for Android not only read Android forums, but specifically the Q&A forum for the I9100. In addition to reading it, they're going to announce the availability of upcoming Android ports here too.

Hey guys, we have a few talented devs working on releasing custom ROMs for our phone and we have working TWRP for almost all the Nokia phones. Hopefully some XDA mods can see this and ensure we get a separate forum. I mean, I'm seeing threads for devices that haven't even released yet, but no threads for our device: The Nokia 6.1plus/X6.
