Hi,
I already got this problem and been able to fix it with battery calibration (root) apps. But since about 1 week I cant fix it and I dont know if someone have the same issue.
When I charge the phone to 100% and unplug the power, it doesnt discharge until 3h after unplug. And between 45% and 30% the phone shut off. When I try to power ON, it say battery too low keep charging before power ON (something like that). When the battery is charge enough, its already at 30% and reach 100% very fast (maybe 15-20mins)
I did try to do battery calibration, reboot the phone and use it normally... but no success.. I already did this 5 times
I cant let it discharge to 0% because it automatically shutoff at 30-40%.
I use the "stock rooted YNG1TAS2I3 ROM. Includes root(enable in Developer options) and the rest is untouched, so it's OTA update safe" from Calkulin (thanx to him he does great work)
I didnt want to factory reset because like I said before, its not the 1st time I got this problem but its the 1st time I am not able to fix it !
And please, do not answer to buy the OnePlus 2
Thank you in advance, sorry for my english

Hi, definitely sounds like a calibration issue. If possible, can you access the bootloader options, and select bootloader logs? It's an option on nexus, not sure about oneplus. If you can, select logs and reboot. That resets the calibration. Otherwise, it could be a faulty battery.
You can always ask in your device's specific help forum here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/help
Good luck!
Thanx for your answer, but i cant attach my dmesg.txt neither paste the pastebin url...

Last night, I charged my phone through PC and after 57% charge I take it off.
Phone was working fine before I went to sleep. When i woke up i found that my phone is turned off. I try to turn it ON, but it did not give me any response.I thought my battery was completely drained, So, I try to charge it through the SE charger and through PC but nothing worked.
At present, Phone is completely off with no light indication. I tried to charge it many time with and without SIM card and sd card, but it remains in this condition I also tried different methods which are mentioned in some other forums.
Please help me. Did anyone experienced this kind of phone behavior?
I have a similar problem, I`m running on Mini CM6 from quite a time now and I had minor problems which are solved by “wipe data/factory reset”. But that one is bigger. I came back from work and put my phone on the charger, it was at least 24h on it and it stayed on 98-99% did not go to 100%, I remove it from the charger and set an alarm for the next day when the alarm ringed after 5 hours I saw that the phone had 15% of battery. In “About phone>Battery use” there was a “Cell search” (if I`m right) that I saw drained my whole battery. I go to work and put it in the charger again when I came back after 5-6 hours it was again on 98-99% I removed it and set an alarm (again) but for sooner not for next morning) before that alarm ringed the phone had 30% batter after I stop it the battery began to go down 2% at 1 second and it turn off. And guess what I did? Put the charger again for the whole night, the next morning after I woke up I decided to remove it from the charger and turn it off because I knew that it will search for signal again and I have to charge it. And that was the last time I saw it alive since then I don`t have anything from it I tried to charge it ->nothing ; SE PC suite -> nothing its totally dead. Its still in warrant but I`m afraid that they won`t repair it because I use a custom ROM. If anyone have any idea I`m listening.
Thanks in advance
Sorry for my bad English.
Try this:
Press the power button + middle button (home) at the same time.
Slight chance it will help, but you'll never know!
;;@above: right, they won't repair when you've got it modded.
They probablywon't know, you could give it a try.

how to do that when i can`t get anything from it. its like i have removed the battery it doesn`t give any sign of life ( not a light, vibrate etc.)
Aaa ok bro total ****ed well ? Try seus if this wont work your batery could be broke try some one else batery. If not defo broke. ! !!!!!just send it back to se if seus cant get it running they cant find out its rooted
After lots of frustration, I found a solution to charge dead battery by charging it with little High voltage(9v) to get back it into chargeable state. I followed the same procedure and managed to charge my battery, but during and after full charge(99%) battery got very HOT. I was very happy to saw my phone back working, but my happiness was eventually went away when i saw that battery was draining very fast
Now, Battery is lasting just for few hours (2-3) and whole phone gets very hot.
The worst thing is, If i left my phone for few hours and do not charge it, battery will again full drain and i would be in the same condition from where i started.
I wish i never had bought this crappy phone
So i`ve send the phone to service and they said: After many tries we find out that a connection in the motherboard was f****d and its 4 layer so they can`t repair it. Because of a scratch(which is very hard to notice) they cancel the warranty, and they tried to make it so they can take my money but they are stupid and they couldn`t. Now i`m buying a new phone which is not going to be Sony because they don`t make a thing for their old customers(personal opinion). I want to thank you all for your help and support
I read a lot about and also on the sonyericsson website says that these feeding problems are often related to two components:
- Sd card damaged or damaging some application installed, then you want to format
- Memory, or too full
The problems are:
- The phone turns itself off
- Sometimes turns on by itself
- Turns itself off if not turned on unless a soft reset (home + power button)
- If it turns itself off and starts believing it is discharged in office no signs of life
I honestly thought we could find the solution on this forum but apparently it's pretty annoying also an issue for you, I is the third time I hard reset and I think I'll two things:
- Or install a rom
- If the problem persists delete root permissions bringing the device to the condition of complete originality and I'll settle for some applications, at this point I doubt will happen again, so if the phone will sell and buy another one or send it under warranty
If anyone has found a solution to the problem you say that! many of us get us the hair from the head!
Hello.
Because of numerous rom and Kernel flashes my battery behaves erratically.
For example, i am out of battery, my phone died, but when i put it for charging, the battery status indicates 100%.
I have tried clearing the battery stats but no luck there.
How can i solve this problem.
Thanks in advance.
Charge full battery and calibrate it with battery calibration from google play
I can't. I am charging the phone with it off, but it indicates a full charge state. If i try to power it on, after about 1-2 minutes, the phone turns itself off, like when not having enough battery.
I have tried the battery calibration tool, but the problem still persists.

I think you should read this tread regarding MAX17040 chip that is installed in your battery and steps to reset it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1312273. If this doesn't work then I'm afraid that your battery is gone and that needs to be replaced.
I have done the indicated steps and i had no luck.
I have observed that after charging to full ( 100% ) the phone runs ok until about 93-94%. After this, the phone shuts itself down, and if i try to power it on, the display hangs at the Galaxy S2 screen ( the one with the triangle )
What am i suposed to do?
This happened to me before, and i got over it without much hassle, but now i can;t get past it.

or u can look at the beautiful triangle
joke
maybe this would help
reboot in cwm,
-factory/data reset
-cache reset
-in advanced menu dalvik cache reset and battery stat reset
-in mount and storage menu format system
-flash custom rom,
-when done ( do not restart system ) do a factory/data reset and battery stat reset again
i know, i can see irony in my advice but can't think of anything else
Try charging it for a while, just to make sure it is actually 100%, then pull the battery and wait 2-3 mins. Plug it back in should be good to go, works every time for me.

1) Battery calibration apps/methods are rubbish/placebo & do absolutely nothing. Save your time/money.
2) Sounds like the battery is cactus to me. Time for a new one.
I have managed to get it working by leaving the battery out of the phone, overnight.
Came across some posts about battery calibration and thought I will give it a go. Used the battery calibration app. It basically wipes the battery stats file and replaces it with a blank file. After running the file, realised that it sets the tab at 4200mAh while the Jetstream has a capacity of 7000mAh. So now am stuck with the lower battery stat. Tried resetting. Didn't help. Any ideas anyone? When I do get sometime will try to install the stock rom and try my luck but in the meanwhile any ideas?
Also, someone rooted on stock, could you please pull the batterystats.bin file from /data/system and upload it? I thought if I could replace that file with another file from a stock Jetstream, it may solve the problem. If not stock, anyone else who gets good battery life?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Could someone please pull the batterystats.bin file from /data/system and upload it? I am able to see it using root explorer. Using astro, i must 1st use the up button to get to the main partition of the internal memory. Next I use the view/preferences button to show hidden and system files. after that I can view it from there as well. Can someone please pull this file and upload it here?
There you go

Will check and confirm. Thanks.
Tried it - seems to work - get around 7 hours of continuous movie playback - which is a bit lesser than what i used to. Will check run and check again. However, I realized 1 thing. The battery has a capacity of 7300mAh. But I am not aware of the voltage it supplies at - could someone check that out? It will be listed on Quick system Info Pro - under the battery status. It shows 4.x Volt power supply when I check it around 70-100% and 3.x for <60%. 60-70%, it fluctuates between them.
Did some research and it seems that in order to correctly calibrate the battery, we must delete that batterystats.bin file (even manually) and then for around 6-7 cycles, make sure that we charge to 100% before unplugging the charger, then discharge till it goes dead (or reaches ~3-4%) before recharging and repeating the process. So, I guess this is what I was doing wrong - I did it only once. Will 1st try out the batterystats file uploaded by guru_shastri with this method, then the delete and retry it again and report back with my findings.
Thanks for all the help.

With that app, check the voltage, should be as close to 4200 mV as possible (mine charges up to 4196 mV but get stuck at 81% ~ 90%) then run the fix (first button) and either reboot the phone or restart the service (I restart the service) and you should see it rises beyond 100%, when you unplug the phone, it downs to 99%

Power Source - USB
State - Charging
Voltage - 4200mV
Temp - 33.0 C

Actual Percentage - 80%
I just ran the fix and restarted the service (as you suggested), so let's await and see if I will get my bat up any higher

Ah, thank you for that info. I will def purchase a new battery
This way works for me to fix this problem
For me, the BatteryFix app works only if I use it this way:
1. In BatteryFix, check "Fix when power detected". (only once)
Reboot the phone, if required.
2. Connect to the power adapter ( the phone must be on)
3. After the notice of BatteryFix shows, turn off your phone. (every time)
For my Atrix 4G, when power adapter is connected,
turning power off makes the phone reboot.
I cannot really turn it off.
I didn't try reboot button, it might work too.
4. Let the phone charge to the maximum percentage.
5. Start BatteryFix, tap "Fix battd" and restart the service. (every time)
No need to reboot for me.
Then, I can see the percentage changes.
I hope this works for you too.

Correct. It might seem as if it's turning on, but it will instead go to this special "charging" mode. Unless of course there's something wrong with the bootloader and it proceeds to full boot instead (there have been reports of this happening to some people).

i dont understand your problem.... again, do this:
plug charger & boot phone.
install that app & load your device to 100% (or just for 1-2 hours)
open that app. (DONT REMOVE CHARGER!!!!!) then press on calibrate battery.
power off phone normally. NOW UNPLUG
try to turn on that phone.
also maybe your battery is dead. so need a new one....
Sir the phone needed to be connected to a charger before I power it up because if I power on the phone by itself it won't open

I think I encountered this kind of problem once. It happened when I swap my empty battery with a new one. Difference are, mine still manages to turn on without charger but battery meter shows almost empty (it actually had full juice) so the phone shuts down after homescreen. Try wiping dalvik, somehow it fixes the calibration for me.
Or look for DisableCriticalBatteryShutdown on xposed installer downloads.
