Hi, a friend gave me his mediapad x1 7D-501u, coz he had forgot the password and bought the Nexus 7.
I cant seem to reset the mediapad to its factory settings though!! I tried booting into the bootloader, but when I press the volume down + power for 10 seconds, the tab just starts normally, but now it says "Safe Mode" near the lockscreen.
Is there anyway I can reset this tab for use ? Also, I tried vol Up+ vol Down + power, but it boots into an an update loop and then tries to update and says that no file was found in the SD card. Then a big Red "FAIL" comes on the screen, and it says "please press the power button for 10 seconds to restart"
Please can anyone help on this ??

Is there any reason you can't just do a "Factory data reset" from the "Backup & reset" setting?
Its password locked
Easiest way is to download an official full ROM (not an update), follow the instructions on how to put it on an SD card and start the X1 with volume+&- and power.
Try Volume Up + Power. Worked for me.
Hold the Volume Up Connect the charge cable into the tablet.Wait until you get into recovery

huawei mediapad youth 2 wont turn on . i was trying to restart it and it didn't turn on .
i tried power button + volume up and power button + volum up + volume down but nothing happens.
i can't remove it's battery !!.
when i pluged it to my pc , it showed it's port in device manager.

I bricked my new P8 lite...I would to install the root: I unlocked the bootloader and then I used this file for the root but the smartphone will not start...I see the Huawei logo, and then off...I have tried by putting the official firmware on a microSD...pressing VOL up and VOL down and power for 10 seconds, release power and hold VOL up and VOL down for another 10 sec but I see only the Huawei logo for a few seconds and then nothing...the fastboot command not work (waiting for any devices) and if I type adb devices , comes back to me list of devices attached...recovery...please help me, it's the phone of my girlfriend :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

download mode not working just shows battery with red bar and crack.

when i press recovery it restarts but with an android logo and no text , i press power or vol button nothing happens.
My Lenovo A6000 Kitkat 4.4 struck on logo after phone switched off after hang. Phone when switched on lenovo logo comes with display Powered by android powerkey long press can reboot phone. Whenever i press power button it says the same Powered by android powerkey long press can reboot phone. but does not enter fastboot. nothing works I guess the OS crashed tried to enter into boot menu using volume +- powerbutton nothing works tried different combination nothing works.
i have downloaded kitkat 4.4 stock ROM but dont know how to flash and install using pc. If anyone knows how then let me know.
