Gear Fit Xperia Z3+ cannot get it to pair - Samsung Gear Fit

Hello, read here that some ppl have been successful in installing GF to Xperia, so i went ahead a purchased a GF. Xperia is running LP 5.0.2 and I have installed GFmgr 1.98 for lollipop on the Z3+ and have updated firmware from R350XX... BOA2, BNG2, BND8 using Odin as suggested on the various forum/posts located here on xda. The GF mgr starts up fine, however, I cannot get GF to pair. BT finds the GF but cannot pair.... I've read that other ppl have had this problem but could not find a post for their similar question. any help you can muster would greatly be appreciated. btw, I've spent the last 2 nights search xda various forums and have downloaded many apk's and firmware but to no success. Thanks to a great place...

[FIX] [SOLUTION] Galaxy S2 Echo/Noise Cancellation Problem

Please ignore this, it appears not to work after all, the search continues... Rob
Hi all, I think I have found a software solution to the long suffered echo during calls problem on the Galaxy S2.
Simply install the XXKP1 modem, as far as I can work out from a couple of calls, it eliminates the problem with the noise cancellation. No other bugs detected as yet.
The phoneis a Sim Free GT-I9100 and has had the problem since the day I got it. I am using Checkrom V.4 with Siriah 2.6.7 Kernel on Vodafone UK. I do not use a case and the phone has no hardware mods.
I have attached the relavent file, provided by shahulvm to this post, the same file is available in the shipped modems reference thread in the Original Android Development forum in the fourth post if you prefer it from there.
Sorry if this is repeat information, but I have been searching for a solution to this problem for three months and have not come across this one
Fingers crossed this works for everyone else

[Q] can i make htc one x and gear s to work together?

HTC one X not beeing able to connect
Hello,
of course I am new here and probably every one will lough at my problem. My wife bought me Samsung Gear S and I am trying to make it working with my HTC one X. I have already updated and rooted this phone and now I am running Android 4.4.2 (3.1.10 cyanogenmod, AOSB KitKat version 1.3.2) which my friend installed for me. I have also followed the main instruction of this post and was able to install software and get the gear s to appear to my phone. Unfortunatelly the gear manager keeps trying to connect and nothing happens. the GEAR S is waiting for configuration and the phone with gear manager is trying to connect with the watch.
is that possible that this HTC one X is not compatible with gear s?
Thank you for any help.

You can try to do the Gear Manager mod.

I have found that this is a proven way to get the two connected. However, as i read thru the forum, it seems tho some things don't work and problems began to appear with some members.
This is how I solved the issue with my HTC One. It works very well and has yet to cause any issues.

I really think you'll love this watch... One of the better SW's I've tried. The Tizen os has a great GUI, but lacks severely in available apps. Hopefully, that will change... but I'm not holding my breath. Overall, the stock apps are sufficient to do all the necessary tasks... but that's about it, not much customizing here.
I do know that root has already been achieved. This should open the doors for some decent mods. So check the forums often.
Good luck!
still not done
So far no luck. I have follow all the instructions from the post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2723862
and got to the point that I pair the devices. If I use newest version of the soft the gear manager does not see my watch. When I instaled instead older version (~1.7 -2.0) than I can see my watch in the gear manager and pair with it. But that does not solve my problem. After pairing the phone goes to connecting mode and conects with the gear s forever.
there is also solution for this on the post you have sent me and I have installed all that, but unfortunatelly nothing changeg. Still connecting forever.
I am starting to think: is that possible that HTC One X has Bluetooth that is not compatible with the gear s?
thanks for help. I am still trying.

NEED Help with getting my Samsung Gear 2 to work with LG V10.

I tried the white gear manager that installs different files. That didn't work. I believe some threads say that version only works for Kit Kat. I don't want to go through Odin and flash something on my gear to have it not work. So if anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be AWESOME.....
Any ideas?
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Still need some help. Haven't figured it out yet.
Flashing Android Wear is pretty much the only way to get it to work with a non-samsung phone. I have a gear 2 neo and I followed every tutorial I could find to get it to connect, but flashing AW was the only thing that worked. Check out this thread- http://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-2/development/please-help-kernel-compiling-android-t2992953 This is what I flashed & everything works great now.
Plus 1.....i have gear2neo.....only thing that worked was the Android wear port.....spent hours and hours trying to connect with the original tizen to no avail....i like tizen better
I honestly wish I could go back to Tizen. The battery life was much better plus I can't get my favorite watch face on AW :/

Android Wear isn't working anymore since the Nougat update

Hello,
since i have updatet to Android Nougat 7.0 last week i am unable to start the Android Wear app. The only thing i see is the Android Wear and the Google logo.
I have a Sony Smartwatch 3 and it wouldn't be very nice if this wouldn't work any more.
Could someone try, if the App works with another Z5C on Nougat?
Best Regards
Zillinda
it works on mine, i have a moto 260 gen 2, that is on wear 1.5.
i have intermittent bluetooth problems, the phone disables bluetooth sometimes.
I also have a smartwatch 3 at home that i stopped using a while ago, if you want i can check if i can pair it with my phone.
Also, i did a clean install of 32.3.0.378 and i wiped my watch to re-pair it with my phone

I am having the same problem. Have you found a fix for it yet. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with a Huawei watch. I am just getting the Android Wear Google logo and the app won't open. With that I can't resync my apps. It just started when my phone updated to nougat

I tried to reset my phone to factory status and now the app works.. I don't know what the problem was and it was really annoying to reinstall every app but now it works.
Zillinda
Hi all,
Just OTA upgraded my Z5 to Nougat and it immediately stopped my Sony Smartwatch 3 connecting, have tried resetting both phone and watch, to no avail. I then tried connecting my SW3 to my wives older sony phone and it worked perfectly, is anyone else having the same problem.
I have been a very loyal Sony customer over the years, but now after promising in writing that they would upgrade the SW3 to android wear 2.0 and then going back on their word and now not being able to use it at all since their official nougat upgrade, don't think I will buying another Sony Phone or accessory ever again, they used to be brilliant, really don't know what has happened to them lately.
Many thanks for your time in this matter, I look forward to reading your comments on this matter.
Kindest Regards - Ashe.
