I can't find a reason, for why it's not working for you.
Hope you installed it in the internal storage,and allowed network access.
If it's still passive, type *#0000# in dialer and post your software version.

facing battery problem after rooting canvas hd
guys i am using canvas hd for the past 1 month.. recently i rooted it.. rooting was successful since i followed xda root method. But since rooting i am facing a serious battery performance issue... earlier before rooting i could use my for continuously at a stretch of 7 hours but now the battery goes down in 4 hours itself.. has rooting got to do anything with it?? also i have not installed any root requiring apps yet on my phone... my usage is same as it was before rooting.. kindly help...

No. Rooting has nothing to do with it. root just unlocks the phone and lets you access/modify the system files. Root itself does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Hi,
Earlier I was not able to root by this method. But now cracked it using the same method. I was not able to make my phone getting detected in SP Flash tools.
It needs you to give run as admin even though you are logged In as admin. Anyway got it rooted. Thanks a lot for the response.....

Just run the flash tool as administrator, did the job for me. Earlier was facing the same issue. Just follow the video as it is you should be able to root it.

For those who are facing issues with the SP Flash Tool error, where in your Phone is recognized by the Flash tool but towards the end it shows incompatibility, all you need to do is uodate to the latest SP Flash tool - SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1248.0.96. Hit thanks if this helped

Check IMEI numbers under About Phone Information. If IMEI are showing as "unknown" then it is serious problem.
There is IMEI repair thread also, but it did not work for my friend. May be it will work for you. My friend had to send phone to Service Center.
Not me, but experts here say that is not safe to use Clockworkmod (CWM) which give weird problem and they advised to use "TWRP".

N started Using flashing tool I did the process as u said..! But after all these also my phone not getting rooted... It's not even detected..! So I used that alternated file u said too download from tt something called gogl/ something like this... Even that isn't working... N after this unsuccessful thing.. Now my apps r crashing.!.... Plz suggest me wat. To do...! Plz Plz Plz n my mob is brand new..! - micromax canvas Hd.

Hi guys,
Rooting process:
1) Download MTK Flash Tool v5.1352_2
2) Download attached Mmx-A190_recovery.img and root.zip files.
3) Flash downloaded recovery img file using MTK flash tool.
4) And install root.zip file by going into recovery mode.
5) Then reboot your phone. that's it now you got a rooted phone.

Can't ROOT my Micromax Canvas HD Plus 190
I have tried many methods to ROOT my Micromax Canvas HD Plus A190. But waste of time.
I need to ROOT this phone NOT to change rom, because this phone is not much popular and doesn't have any alternate custom roms. No CyanogenMod roms, No MIUI roms.........
And this phone has MediaTek MT6591 HexaCore Processor clocked at 1.5GHz which can almost run all High-End HD games. This chipset is also not popular. So I'm 100% sure this device does't get any updates on custom roms. Because this mobile phone is not popular as "Canvas HD" even though it has good performance.
The reason i tried to ROOT this Android smartphone is it has many useless and tidy applications and poor trial version games like M! Live, M! Games, Marbles, Giga Jump, Jelly Jumpers and so on.... I could easily remove these spam apps if I get root access.
The big trouble is can't update the pre-installed Hike Messenger. I can uninstall this app if get rooted.
But that too failed!!!....
Some one please HELP to solve this problem.

The Chinese Android App(apk) named irootsu formely "Root Master" which needs data connection while rooting your phone does'nt properly ROOT your phone. But that app will get into you System/App (i.e) it will become your system app and you can not remove that. But your phone will not get ROOT access. Too your Handset warranty will be void.

anyway you can find the steps to root your phone in the following thread,

I had install latest kingo app on internet enabled PC......
simply followed instructions.....
it automatically detected n downloaded required driver n files for rooting......
after several rebooting ...SuperSU is installed

It is because there is no SU binary in the device. You can see it by installing SuperSU from ChainsDD from playstore

huawei does'nt giving this mobile unlock code , i already contacted to huawei website.
