thank you

rfnv files
I think, there is a hint in rfnv files.
I own the XT1524 retail EU.
EU model supports a 2100band and 900band.
I will upload the rfnv files of XT1524.
Perhaps, if you use this file, your problems will be solved.
I also have a similar problem.
Once you have success, I also resolve.
Good Luck! !:good:
I am sorry in awkward English

I think you attached file is corrupt

[Q] Flashing Gingerbread with Froyo MODEM ROMs

Hello, i live in Argentina and here UMTS/3G networks use the 850 Mhz band, as you know this is different to the 3G bands in use in Europe/Asia/Brasil, So far i haven't seen any GingerBread ROMs for the Galaxy Ace that use that Band.
I was wondering if using ODIN i could flash BOOT/PDA/CSC and leave the old Froyo MODEM ROM installed.
There is a brazilian modem working on your band, 850 mhz. Look this post

Nope, that won't work, Brazil uses the 2100 Mhz band,
I've already tried that ROM with no luck, had to return my phone.

Believe me, that works on 850 mhz frecuency. Mexician users had no problem with telcel in that band

[Q] Omate TrueSmart change baseband freq ?

Hallo, I bouth by mistake a 1900mhz TrueSmart and cant use 3g here in EU, so I was thinking maybe I can change the baseband freq to 2100mhz. I did abit of research and it seems that the MT6572/MT6166 is capable of running in both the 1900mhz and 2100mhz 3G-FDD baseband freq, but is it controlled by the firmware or does it use different pin's on the SoC, and if so can I rewire the pin's and the use the 2100mhz firmware ?
Hope someone can help me with this, thanks

I dunno if this helps but a while back i had mt6589 phone with tri band GSM and single band HSDPA, but then I changed the modem files in /system/etc/firmware (modem_***.img) and when I checked in Engineer Mode it changed into quad band GSM and Dual band HSDPA (like phone which modem file i pulled)...
It have more stable network signal and connection
I think flashing 2100MHz firmware is also works :good:

Hello could you help me with finding and flashing modem firmware - I have Callisto 300 (same specs as Omate's Truesmart, running omate KK now) I don't get 3g in US and in engineering mode it shows Euro, Japan and Aus and Aus1 - I'm assuming this is 2100 mhz watch and I need 1900 baseband in order to get 3g with at&t.
Thanks a lot
Change from 2100 to 1900?
I too would like to know if it's possible to change the modem frequency, but I have the EU version, but am in the US with AT&T. Is it possible to change to 1900mhz so I can have 3G?
Baseband Changed
Hi, I finally got 3g 2100 mhz on my 1900mhz
I flashed the 4.4 rom from http://forum.xda-developers.com/omate-truesmart/development/rom-omate-truesmart-ironman-firmware-t2998434
and Baseband file from https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0Bz7sBdJpIWEgRm5MYnhEQmlTNDA&usp=drive_web&tid=0Bz7sBdJpIWEgOWoxNEVXWkZKbkk
then followed guide from gerhardo.
adb shell mount -o remount,rw /system
adb push .\1900Baseband\modem_1_wg_n.img /system/etc/firmware/modem_1_wg_n.img
adb shell chmod 644 system/etc/firmware/modem_1_wg_n.img
adb reboot

I need the inverse. Do any of you still have your original 1900 Mhz baseband files for Kitkat 4.4.2? The google drive link in the post above is dead.

[Q] LTE Bands G850Y

Hi guys. I've a question. There's a way to unlock LTE bands on g850Y? I've bought my phone in Chile, but in Argentina LTE doesn't work on the same frec.
On theory, Panama's ROM for G850Y should work in Argentina's LTE frecuency, (band but i'm not really sure to flash, and i'm not sure if i'm doing something stupid and end up with a soft brick.
If that's possible, could someone explain the steps for flashing? (If i have to do a complete flash, or just modem.bin.. etc)
I need a ROM that get's BAND 4 AWS.. is any of this possible?
Thanks!
Same here
I have the same problem, if anyone can help please.

Need help to choose best firmware and baseband version for Moto E xt1527

Hi, I need help.
So, I bought 2 moto E 2015 model (at&t unlocked) from Ebay - very cheap.
But this phones working with only 2G mode in my country (even theese are LTE models ).
I want to reinstall system to better one - which there is no any at&t default applications or any of carrier applications.
And I also want to change baseband versions - because, this phone working only with 2G network type with my country's mobile carriers. I think it should be for baseband (network standarts) .
is it possible to fix problem with change firmware and baseband to no-contract version?
I asked my mobile carrier, they said, "we are using 900-1800 MHZ for GSM ; 900-2100 for 3G, 2100 for LTE (up to 2100)
Who can provide how to and links?
Thanks.
The AT&T model cannot be bootloader unlocked, so you cannot change the firmware to another version. There's a guide in the General forum about enabling additional LTE bands, you can try tweaking it for 3G, but there's no guarantee that the AT&T model's antenna hardware can support those bands.
