Hi
To the point.
I have bee. Trying to reboot my samsung Galaxy S6 edge Flash counter and I haven't been able to get it, it seems the this app (Triangle away) is not available for that kind of phone.
I'd like to know if I can be helped because I really need it.
Thanks...
Probably you using the latest version, try instead version 2.90
I have already tried with the most of versions and it has been almost imposible...

Although I already did it...
This is the message I've been receiving...

Since the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge have identical hardware (other than the battery) can we expect cross-compatibility of things like custom kernels and custom stock ROMs?
For example, I own a Galaxy S6 Edge and there's this fancy custom kernel made by a boss dev for the regular S6, do you think it'd be a breeze to be ported over or would it just support the S6 Edge without the need for a port?
Likely Yeah

I don't take responsibility if it doesn't work, but I'd say it's very likely it will work. It's the same phone with a curved display and the edge feature switched on. Hell, I had to root mine using the normal S6 file since the S6 Edge file bricked it.

Hey there , just a small question real quick. I see that you said you have rooted your s6 edge , hows your experience after rooting it or flashed any custom rom? also which method did you use for rooting the device ? thanks

The experience isn't much different, I really only rooted it so I could get Titanium Backup and restore all my apps and data. There are no custom ROMs yet nor does Xposed work yet as TWRP isn't out for it yet. But I used Odin 3.10.6 and flashed the G920T CF Auto-root file.
I'm honestly tired of searching; I guess I'm the only person with a Rooted Sprint Galaxy S5 and a Galaxy Gear S. The GS5 (running on BlissPop) is not supporting the Galaxy Apps/Gear Manager. I've tried several ways to unroot/back to stock ROM and still getting a FAIL from Odin. I want the ability to interact with my Gear S even by going back to stock ROM. I can't be the only one in the world with this problem...! At least I refuse to believe so...

Thats an issue with your BlissPop rom. Have you tried posting in the BlissPop rom forum? The best way to get back to stock is to grab OFFICIAL firmware. Its also possible that your device is formatted for custom roms and would need to be reformated to stock...official firmware should automatically do this if it is different.
HI Guys as my name suggest i am not that great on technical.
I am buying my son a S6 Edge only on the condition that i install monitoring software on the phone so that i can access it at all times.
To utilise this software to capture all messages whats app etc the phone needs to be rooted and this is the only reason i need to root and will not be doing anything else to the phone.
I recently rooted a note 4 and had all sorts of issues however did manage to get it back to factory and resolve using Odin and flashing stock.
On the s6 EDGE there are a number of sites that say use pingpongroot or oneclickroot or Kingo Android root. Can anyone advise the best root for a S6 EDGE and any complications i may face later having rooted it.
Cheers
Gifford

just remeber knox counter gets tripped by the rooting.. so no samsung pay etc
You should say what android version are you using, as you can root and keep warranty on 5.0.2, but lose warranty on 5.1.1
hey all so after doing some reading on how to reset knox counter on my s6 edge phone i began to wonder is it fesible to in some way force the phone to load a older more open version of android like 4.2 kit kat or before then use a program to reset the knox counter then reflash back to the newest updated version of marshmallow or in some way create a workaround that would force reset it by using older versions like a mini program build from the older ones that would allow a knox reset then reflash the phone using the original stock firmware..????
PS.SORRY FOR POSTING HERE BUT I DIDNT KNOW WHERE ELSE TO POST THIS ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED IN THIS MATTER ..

Hi jklein36
Your post is indeed correctly placed. No need to apologize :good:
As you didn't mentioned the exactly S6Edge version you have and which were you previous flashings, it will be hard to adventure answering your question.
By default, when you trip knox, there should be an eFuse burned that won't come back. But that may not be so in your case.
I would suggest you to engage in an already running discussion on the matter and from there go on further into your needs:
[Discussion] KNOX Counter
Please, let us know your findings.
Nice regards.

Sorry in advance if this is common knowledge. Semi-noob. I searched forums far and wide for past 3 days for this info.
Device: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge SM-G935T (Snapdragon)
I have the latest Samsung/T-Mobile firmware installed (July 2019 update) with Binary 10.
In a nutshell:
From what I have gathered, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (T-Mobile) has a locked boot loader, which means that it CANNOT be rooted or modded (at this time). Is this entirely correct?
In detail:
I switched my phone service from T-Mobile to Safelink with the same phone and ported phone number. The warranty is expired, and I accept the risks. I want to get rid of T-Mobile bloatware on my unrooted device, and even install custom ROMs so that I can experiment with the possibility of better WiFi signal strength and other fun stuff. My phone is great, but it does not run as smoothly or fast as I would like it to.
Tutorial after tutorial has resulted in dead ends (SW Check Fail using Odin and download mode, Heimdall, etc.). The main issue seems to be that the binaries cannot be older than what I currently have installed, and I have the latest one, Binary 10.
It is my understanding that this cannot be navigated, unless I get off my butt and figure out how to exploit it myself. Is this correct?
If not, is there any way to get around this locked boot loader issue with the SM-G935T having the latest stock firmware (Binary 10)?
You guys rock.
Tap
I swear to god I've been strugling for solid 1 hour just to find a proper firmware binary 10 just like you. But it seems like worthless. If you find anything please help me *sob*
did you find the solution yet? cz am in the same situation right now, my phone is running on the latest binary 10 like you said...
