Xperia Z2 Audio driver issue. - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys. When Z2 was at 4.4, it worked perfectly. But after 5.0 update they broke sound driver. There is two issues - equaliser works only in Sony Walkman, but it doesn't matter in comparison with other one.
Everyone knows about heaphone profiles, right? They are working like they were outjected from ass while ago. I found best profile on my own taste, but it works only at current song, if I select next, it forgets to modify sound. Settings is still keeping setup, but it's dummy. If I reselect profile, it works again. It's annoying. Anyone else got the same issue? It highly affects audio - without profiles it feels like girl with out boobs. And Clear Bass is also does nothing, at least.
My headphones are Sennheiser CX 300 II and Xiaomi Piston III. I was hope that Sony would fix it at 5.1 update, but nothing.
P.S Same feature at Xiaomi Mi Pad and Mi Note works perfectly, but Xperia is main phone.
P.P.S Phone is stock, I have never flashed it and rooted. I have root at Xiaomies.

I suggest you to do a total clean and fresh install with 5.1.1 via PC Companion on your PC and test again.

Z ultra GPE Google Now launcher stopped listening

I got Google now launcher on my z ultra GPE and always listening was working fine until 2 days ago. The only change I made to the phone was to pair a new Bluetooth headset (Sony sbh-52). Anyone know if that somehow affected the always listening module in some way and how do I reverse it? Thanks guys.

[Q] [Problem] XPERIA Z2 - Headset Button/Key Control

Hello XDA,
(TL;DR: Headset button is inconsistent, can't properly use it for music control)
I recently got my XPERIA Z2, uprading form the Z. I can't be more happy right now, no flaws, no serious problems.
It's just that this one-button headset does not work properly like I want it to.
For example on Cyanogenmod 11 on my Z I could simply click once for play/pause, double click (not too fast) for next track and triple click for goung to the previous track.
Right now it feels like the software which tasks these clicks is like on drugs.
My setup:
- XPERIA Z2 (D6503) Android 4.4.2 + root
- Build: 17.1.2.A.0.314
- Poweramp 2.0.9-build-564-uni
- V-MODA M100 crossfade Headphones
- Integrated microphone and button on the cord
The problem also occurs with the WALKMAN app.
I am pretty sure it's a software based problem.
Obviously I already looked around for some solutions:
- Headset Control Center
- JAYS Headset Control
- SmartKey by Sony
Main problem is that not every click is properly recognized. Long click results into Google Voice Search.
I hit the button in different click frequencies to find out how fast or slow I have to time the clicks, but well there is like no pattern at all.
The inconsistency is all the time, it does not matter if the display is on or off.
I could only find similiar threads on this XDA but no real working solution.
I'd be happy about some replies and maybe some solid solution.
Thanks in advance!

1. Does this change with playing with the cable
2. Does it do it with other headsets
3. There may not be any solutuon due to the fact the Z2 has a 5 pin jack instead of a ordinary 3 pin
4. :/ ive seen this with my old Xperia S headset

1. Cable is stable, it works perfectly fine on my Xperia Z
2. Don't have other headsets with one-buttons and mic attached. :/ Might look through the house later
3. I was thinking the same, but otherwise I can't imagine that's the problem. I actually can play/pause skip forward/backward just inconsistent. I am almost sure the problem would be gone if I install CM11 but tbh stock by Sony is pretty awesome without bloat.
I think that whatever processes the one-button input must have some problem. These other Headset Control apps or whatever had some options like delay and such precision stuff, sadly it does not work.
4. I don't remember it clearly but I think my Xperia Z had the same problem which got "fixed" due to another android firmware (CM11)

Well I got some kind of substitute, I installed Xposed Framework and binded the volume up/down with prev/next to my licking. Actually that works better for me when I am outdoor. Pushing that button on the cord is cool but it's usually below my jacket, while my hands are in the pocket near the phone.
I am fine with that. But I'll take a look at Xposed Additions, there is also some configuration with hardware buttons in general.
I'll update this post in case I find a decent workaround.
Thanks for your time though!

Problem with bluetooth audio

First of all, hello!
Ok, so I've been having this problem with the phone since I received it: When I want to transfer the audio of the phone to an LG Home Cinema via Bluetooth, the audio doesn't sound properly (sometimes nothing comes out of the speakers and sometimes half of a second of the song plays but very distorted, but in the phone it is displayed that the song is playing). I tried to pair the audio of the phone with a mini speaker that also supports Bluetooth and the Redmi Note 2 works just fine with it.
I've changed the rom several times since I bought the phone (MIUI always, I'm currently on 7.1.0 Stable) but the issue is still there.
My previous phone, a Mi3, worked well with the Home Cinema and also every other phone that I link to the speakers also work well so it's definitely a problem with the Redmi Note 2 and this LG Home Cinema in particular.
Any suggestions or thoughts on this?
Thank you!
I am having the same issue with bluetooth headphones...audio stuttering is horrible + some peak distortion...I`ve tried anything (change build.prop, disable wifi, disable bluetooth log) but no change.
The headphones are not defective as they work properly with PC or other device with android 4.2.2.
Same here. Annoying stuttering in bluetooth headset.
I'm using weekly dev builds from xiaomi.eu
No problems here with the global developer version. Works like a charm with Bose Soundlink Mini and Creative T12 Wireless.
Bluetooth stuttering....

Still the same. Tried old baseband - only get bad WiFi with same issues with Bluetooth

Does work fine with miui though... BUT.
For me so far, bluetooth audio stutters very rarely, but it does stutter now and then. No distortion, however.
Currently on xiaomi.eu v6.2.25 about to move on to v6.3.24 beta

Setting NooxZoide Pro to work with Spotify, or Viper4Android NON-ROOT alternative

Hi! I wanted to use Viper4Android but since I've just bought this new Moto G Plus, I didn't want to root it and mess with the guarantee. So, I'm trying to use NoozXoide, but it does not seems to work correctly with Spotify... It changes absolutely NOTHING on the sound. The odd part is that, sometimes, specially when I've just set NoozXoide and then I open Spotify, the musics start REALLY loud for like, 1 sec, and suddenly the volume drops... I'm not sure if I'm miss-setting something... Could you guys help me?
(Oh, also, since I've never been able to use NoozXoide (I've also tried with my old S4 Mini, like, 6 months ago), I don't know the best settings to listen to the most authentic (original recording-like) and subwoofered bassy music... could you also gimme some tips on this? thanks )
ALSO.
If there's ANY way to install Viper4Android without messing with my phone's guarantee (it seems that the only methods require either root or Selinux mod, right...? And doing those usually cancel the product's guarantee), or at least any good alternative to V4A, I'd be glad you guys could help me.
Thanks!
Someone?
ANY one? (((
Seriously, no one??

[issue] Amazfit 2 Stratos -> tragic bluetooth audio quality

Hey,
For last few months , I've got annoying situation when running with my earphones (tried 3 different Bluetooth devices -> all the same).
Connection is very poor, and music all the time interrupts/brakes, it is annoying.
Even I started running with watch on right hand, but it work ok when watch is about 10 cm from BT receiver...
I thought first that it is connected to some bug ROM, but nah -> situation is the same.
TRIED:
- different ROMs, EN and CN
- factory few times
Some other things I can try ? Maybe some special BT settings in kernel ?
I think quality of this speaker is low

I have the same problem with my amazfit pace, bluetooth connection seems to be poor. Music starts to get faster then and there is a background noise present. It is not all the time, but tested with different earphones . I couldnt find a solution so far. Watch is running on stock ROM. Any suggestions?
If you are not using TWS earbuds, then try to use the watch on the other arm (or change the headphones side, the one with the antenna should be at the same side as the watch). If it doesn't work then your have a watch with bad antennae, hardware issue, no way to fix it by software.
same problem on the latest stable sw version ...

Man, already having it on right side, and right headphone with BT receiver is at the level on my stomach -> still problem. Only 10 cm is working well. But wasn't this way in the beginning.
Ehh.. annoying
