Hmm, was this posted in the wrong area? We aren't able to flash 5.1.1 to my knowledge since AT&T hasn't released that update yet.

No worries, just thought I would point it out so people on AT&T devices don't start flashing and damaging their devices. I'm sure you can contact a mod to move it for you.

I was really hoping this ROM would also unlock the phone but no luck yet. I tried changing telephony properties on the build to no help.

I can look into the sleep bug but heres a post about soft unlocking your G3 (CDMA only, GMA chip doesn't worl), http://teamuscellular.com/Forum/topic/8241-how-to-soft-unlock-your-g3-and-possibly-other-devices-for-any-cdma-or-lte-carrier-without-root/. I haven't tried it because I don;t have a different sim card.
I'm attempting to build cm12.1 with NFC drivers but it's going to take me a few because I'm busy the next few days.

Any luck on getting this unlocked? Or does it even ask for an unlock code with a foreign sim?
Im making this post to make the people know that im making the CyanogenMod Rom for the 531M Variant, so don't expect to have this rom in a week as im not a proffessional at compiling, i need help if anything bad occurs, im have a bad english so please don't be rude if i say something wrong.

brother... i think you forgot what i mentioned above...... im building this kernel for Knox issues ONLY....
i will not handle AOD's... or any other ROM mods
I know AOD need Kernel Modification.... but sorry... i have a busy schedule... So.... First things first... i will take care of that thing later after my successful launch of ULTRAMOD KERNEL with Secure Folder and Samsung Pay eligibilites....

These phones are getting old.

Hello everyone, I put this thread together to post a simple deodexed version of the EQK1 update that pushed out in early December. The rom is mostly stock, I have removed Knox, added Busybox and SQLite plus some other tweaks. The installer does contain a root, the kernel will be flashed with Magisk 14.6 upon installation. THIS VOIDS ALL WARRANTIES! As always, you are choosing to download and flash this rom yourself. I am not responsible for any bootloops, roasted sim cards, exploding batteries or (in very fun cases!!) cyclones of nuclear death fire because you didn't first read or familiarize yourself with proper flashing procedures and the risks that come from installing custom Operating Systems. I recommend making a full Nandroid backup before flashing anything, I personally always do. Please feel free to hit the thanks button if this thread floats your boat! :cyclops:
