I have, and it requires a reboot to resolve.
I can't be certain, but I don't think I remember it being exclusive to just b320. I am not certain but I believe it happened it JB and definately w/ b309
How did you get it working?
Here ya go

Wait do you mean after you installed the update ??
Cause I was talking about it intermittantly not responding.
Otherwise do this:
Follow this Settings==>Language and Input==>Default Keyboard==>Press (configure input methods) , Then turn on Google voice typing.
HTH
Just use swype for the voice to text.

I am able to set up Visual Voice Mail, but I get an error every time I attempt to play a message. Does it not work on AOSP/AOKP/CM9 ROMs or what?
I hope someone else has had this same issue and has a work-around

Is there any third party program or any way I can replace the call answer screen? Sometimes on my HTC One it will say slide up to answer, sometimes click to answer... when the click to answer screen shows and I click ANYWHERE except decline, it answers the call... Sometimes my phone will be ringing and I'll pick it up and it auto-answers. How do I fix this?
For anyone else having this problem I've narrowed it down to a setting: Security -> Phone notification preview.... Anyone else having this issue? Also, is there a 3rd party program for receiving calls?

I think it might be a CleanROM bug... I have another ROM on there placed on top of CleanROM (probably should've wiped first ) and it's still having the issue. I use UltimateCallService or whatever it's called in the meantime so this doesn't happen...

I just installed Ultimate Call Screen which is the closest thing I could find. Hopefully that will take care of this problem.
Thanks!
has anyone else encountered this? I'm rooted with unlocked bootloader and XZDualRecovery.
the mods I've installed are olokos's Z2 soundmod 1.3 with headphones boost and flashed Viper4Android as a system app so I'm wondering if these are clashing with the radio, I've tinkered with every option on Viper4Android and none of them seem to have any affect on the radio

these app u mentioned are about sound so they should not do anything with radio
check if u flash anything else related to radio like basebandor something?
if u get crash for radio click send report and then click view system logs and take screen shots of error logs.
this can tell me more detail about ur problem and hopefully to solve it
:good:
I had an issue recently that the FM radio app won't play any sound. Later found out through Google that it was caused by the Google Now any screen 'Ok Google' setting. Once that was disabled, radio app worked properly. I hope that's what's happening in your case.

oh I found it haha had it disabled all along, then I re-enabled the app, did what you said and still the radio doesn't play any sound hmm would deleting the app data of Google Search then disabling it would've affected the radio permanently not to work?

Any Idea how to increase mic gain for whatsapp?
Sent from my LG-H850 using XDA Labs
Same problem on my G5, with other apps the mic recording is perfect, so i think the problem is within WhatsApp, it will be fixed in the next version.

on updated stock roms it's already been fixed. when you use cm/lineage you need to install a kernel with sound control, for example crazyKernel

Hi! THanks for your answer.
I must say first, that I'm not using an LG G5 but a Samsung Relay phone, is just I had the same problem and I'm trying to find a solution to people having the same problem.
Having said that, I never had problems with stock, it's with cyanogenmod 11. Do you think I can also use crazykernel? Did that fix the voice notes problem in whatsapp for your phone? I only have problems with voice notes, everything else works as expected.
Best,

No you can't use crazykernel, they are device specific. Search for a Stock(if you are using Stock rom) kernel for your device with Sound Control

Hello XDA!
I'm having troubles with my Honor 7 and the microphone is part of them...
It only works on a phone call (which is nice) but doesn't work when I'm taking a video, trying to talk to Google Assistant or thing like that.
Do you know how I can solve my problem?
Thank you for helping me!

What are you using for taking vids? Stock or a downloaded app? Google asst. has been giving issues lately. Try updating the asst. via Google play. If that doesn't help, try uninstalling and reinstalling it. If that fails, grab an older version from apkmirror.

Could be a hardware issue. I recommend you uninstalling the google app...clearing cache...reboot. reinstall Google App and reboot again.

Why not try a factory reset before reinstalling stock firmware. It's easier and in a sense achieves the same as a reinstall.
