i was trying to root and install cwm.. and i unfortunately installed the wrong recovery now my phone does not start.. not even in recovery mode..
it shows a messege "Download and install package...........etc. press volume up to proceed down to cancel" pressing the keys don't do any thing phone gets off after a while.. i have a backup of stock recovery and boot but i think both files are same its 20mb both.. i had used Flashify to backup. and i can't even enter fastboot my pc does not detect my phone perhaps because i don't have the drivers... is it possible to fix my phone or its dead for ever..:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::silly::silly::crying:

In my coolpad dazen 1 when I was try to flash new software it stop at 11%. What should I do? Plz help me. I tried both stock room software.

i have managed to get my coolpad dazen 1 back to life.what i have done is flash different partition with fastboot.
if ur coolpad boots in download mode and secure phone is written and cant be flashed with ygdp tool.there this method is applicable.
like fastboot flash (partition) (file name) .for example "fastboot flash system system.img".if u r confused let me explain widely-
1.I have coolpad stock firmware in .cfb file.you can download it from internet.
2.I installed ygdp tool latest version.To copy data of firmware.you can copy it just load the .cfb file in ygdp tool.Do not flash with it just load the firmware in ygdp tool now when checking is done. go to your ygdp tool installation directory like "c:/ygdp".where ygdp tool is intalled. go to folder downfiles there u will find a folder named 8297l-100 copy it to another safe location.
3.now open partition.xml file in 8297l-100.there u will find partition name and file name.
4.go to ur adb or fastboot folder.
5.open a cmd window by "shift+right click".
6.now command fastboot devices.if ur phone is detected u can flash the partition manually.like fastboot flash (partition name) (file name).
7.partition name should be named correctly otherwise it will fail.
"Tools " u will need-
1. coolpad dazen 1 drivers for pc
2. adb drivers for coolpad dazen 1.
3. ygdp tool latest
thats all folks hope u will able to unbrick ur dazen 1

buddy pls tell us if
1. The phone is rooted.
2. The android version is factory or you installed it.
3. You are flashing the rom in stock recovery or other recovery.
When you bought it what was the android language?
If you are having trouble with flasing i advice you to use pc tools. Because in phone you will need to root the device first. If you well know the conditions of root. :good:

same case here , after formatting , phone won't power on or can't be detected by sp flash tools , please please please , even if i connect a charger it is still not charging , is there hope for my dead phone? my phone is a110

Rooted my phone with e-root tool; happy to share the tool if anyone needs it.
Problem is --
Accidentally deleted the google service apk after rooting my spice MI 502 and it seems some more damage is already done....
Understood from this forum that CWM is one option but my Spice mi502 has a dead recovery when try to boot into recovery mode by pressing the power+volUP+optionkey;
Troubleshooted but failed ----
1. Already tried with CWM but in absence of recovery could not work out;
tried with recovery images of SPICE - MI500 , MI495 , MI425, and some more but invane...
2. Next go was SP flash utility but in again in absence of stock rom of SPICE MI502 have gave a go with SPICE MI500 stock rom and scatter file and other data inclosed; but all received was invalid and unsupported scatter file and partition format and similar issues while trying options within SP flash utility like trying to upgrade firmware, renaming the scatter file from MTK6577 to MTK6575;
Anything i have missed please ask ......... since its a new phone just 5days old, one can understand the desperation and fear of bricking!!!!!!!!
ANYONE PLEASE SHARE THE STOCK ROM FOR SPICE MI502 OR THE RECOVERY IMAGE FOR CWM OR SOME GUIDANCE TOWARDS FIXING THE SPICE MI502; ALSO ANY SUGGESTION ON RESTORING THE GOOGLE SERVICE IS HELPFUL ... !!

Trying using the Android Commander 0.7.9.11 and put the vending & service apk back to the /system/app ... if nothing works than no option you have to get help from the service centre.. i too couldnt find the stock rom anywhere on the web ..
What did you do for the internal memory part.. im still trying to work on that... cant get much apps on this phone... let me know if you know any way to increase the internal memory....

If you got the spice recovered from service center; may be you can save us all;
It would be great if you can back up your stock rom and share the link for us to download so we can flash the image to our spice mi502;
further if you can find the scatter file via browsing the rom and recovery.img; if not familiar with browsing the rom, appreciate if you can share the complete stock rom back and will try to do the rest;

finally got the stock recovery of spice mi-502
here it is... the stock recovery of spice mi502...backed up this using adb backup... now you can use this to mk cwm or to solve dead recovery problem... :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

It's available in spice mind 530 and Spice mi 535 pages submitted by me procedure is also given there. You just search.

I thing something went wrong
I used mtktools 2.4.5 when I attached my phone to it has shown my phone model and every thing
I followed ur instruction
problem 1 when I was making a backup while making backup of system file it showed that ur device suddenly disconnected
problem2 than I tried to flash cwm
it has shown that task is complete after clicking many yes
than after seeing task complete I sawed an option of reboot I rebooted in recovery suddenly it showed device not connected than my phone restarted it shows the logo of spice than it switch off
after that I tried a lot but my phone is not started
every time it shows spice logo than it is switched off
help me what to do immediate help needed
did u follow the steps properly... I had no problem getting it... if ur phone got stuck in bootloop may b u should try to install moborobo software in ur PC ... connect ur phone to pc and switch it on ..wait for few mins.. it may remove the bootloop....

its boot loop problem I knw that
I think it is giving that problem in flashing recovery
after saying to install cwm it is demanding to flash recovery and while flashing it showing booting problem
and u have one more problem :- i have created boot image and recovery image through sp flash but whn I m downloading it boot image is not loading it showing that image is too large
but it is the exact size required....
so can you help me out

HI, I followed the instructions above, but I can't get the o.s. Just have the clockworkmod recovery now, so the vodafone 785 doesn't start. I also tried to put the backup folder into my extsd but I'm not able to restore the smartphone from the backup you uploaded (from cwm recovery), because it says "no file". Please can you help me?

I bought brand new vodafone smart 4 mini and first I did was root to unlock phone, next a very stupid idea came to my had to update software, after that my phone worked terreble, so another stupid idea came to my head to flash oryginal ROM, I downloaded rom, SPFlash tool , load scatter file and pressed download, everything looked good, it took about one minute and green circle ok at the end. I was verry happy, for couple seconds only, my brand new phone never started again. there was only short blink when I pressed power button , and then nothing. I've been trying to flash the phone many times after that with couple different ROM's but no succes. sometime phone doesn't even blink after flashing. Sometimes at the begining of flashing there is mesage "no partition table" or memory error. Please somebody help me, I'm loosing hope.
I think the only good news is that the "Media Tek PreLoader USB VCOM" still works, and looks like phone cooperates with the tool, maybe I should use different tool, or test phone first with some tool, or create partitin table ?

I think the only good news is that the "Media Tek PreLoader USB VCOM" still works, and looks like phone cooperates with the tool, maybe I should use different tool, or test phone first with some tool, or create partitin table ?

My phone Infocus m370i is soft bricked. If you have the stock rom of this (or this phone), then kindly please update the rom on the forum. I've searched everywhere on the net for it and I haven't found it anywhere as of yet.

Got it!!
All roms of INFOCUS are given on their Taiwan website. Unfortunately, the site is in local language but with little exploration I was able to find out the rom in it. I'm pasting a link to it:

Ok, here is the procedure.
1) Download firmware for your phone (I'm supposing its m370i) and put it in a mini SD card.
2) Now insert this memory card into your phone, and boot into recovery mode.
3) Now select update zip from SD Card and select the firmware file in your SD Card.
4) Once the operation has started wait for 15-20 mins. for the entire process to end. Do not restart the phone till the procedure ends on its own.
That's it!!

But Phone can't go to Recovery Mode ..
Plz shear if have any way to put Recovery Mode !!

1) Make sure you have adb and fastboot
2) Enable USB debugging in your phone (In developer options)
3) Change your USB computer connection -> Camera (PTP)
4) Execute command "adb devices" Now it should show your device's serial on the screen.
5) After (4) execute the command "adb reboot recovery". That's it.

This firmware is meant for M370. Will it function properly on M370i?
I compared the hardware properties and I don't seem to identify any relevant differences, so, I just want to confirm here.

Yes, It has worked on my Infocus M370i twice (1 GB Ram/8 GB memory). I'm not so sure about 2 GB version as I don't have it but theoretically it should work on it too.

Use kingroot app to root m370i. Search, download the app of this app from Google. Run it and in press of a button everything will get done.

If you have ever rooted your phone which I believe you have, then installing software update will brick your phone.
To avoid this, you should first install stock rom and then update the system.

No i just use rescue and smart application from motorola web. After i download firmware on application and flash i think can solve my problem on account problem but i got new problem my devices stuck in edl mode. And use another solution use QFIL application but i got thats arror pop.

I´m having exactly the same issue. I tried QFIL to fix it but its giving me errors and I cannot flash it anyhow.
I also have Chinese ROM available: https://meta.box.lenovo.com/v/link/view/b7dd980e0e874b58b2a6d683ad63adac
Problem is that phone is stuck in Download mode and its not possible to turn it off or switch the mode. It can still communicate over COM port within Download mode.
Bootloader was locked.
Is there any way how to get phone from this state?
Ideally I need Global ROM there, but getting it into original state with Chinese ROM would help as well.

Download Chinese ROM from link above
Open Lenovo Smart and Rescue assistant and let it download Lenovo L70081 ROM
Open folder with downloaded ROM from Lenovo Smart and Rescue assistant - you should see bunch of extracted ROM files
Delete all files from that ROM folder
Extract Chinese ROM to Lenovo ROM folder
Run standard Rescue process in Lenovo Smart and Rescue assistant
After this, device will have Chinese ROM and will be booted in FastBoot mode.
Problem is that it doesnt want to boot to OS
EDIT 2:
I´ve also fixed booting problem. Now it will load Chinese OS without any troubles:
Open QFIL
Select Meta Build
Select Programmer path as "prog_firehose_ddr.elf" from extracted Chinese ROM files
Load Content.xml from Chinese ROM files ("contents.xml")
Press Download
Switch phone to Download mode (press and hold all volume and power buttons for a while and the plug a cable to side USB port)
Download will start automatically and it´ll flash whole OS
If step 5 will not be enabled, use step 6 and press Download right after phone is detected by QFIL

First part is with Lenovo rescue. Second was with QFIL. But I think first should work with QFIL as well, just didnt try it...

Okay from a non booting phone... Used your first method of replacing global rom with Chinese ROM in rescue app... Got it to go into bootloader afterwards. Yay...
Now I tried using gfil and nothing...it keeps failing.

Open Lenovo Smart and Rescue assistant and let it download Lenovo L70081 ROM
Open folder with downloaded ROM from Lenovo Smart and Rescue assistant - you should see bunch of extracted ROM files
Go directly into the ROM Folder what namend "L70081_ROW_SECURE_USER_......"
Delete all files (abl.elf, aop.mbn, and so on) from that ROM folder
Extract Chinese ROM folder and go into the extracted Folder named "L70081_CN_SECURE_USER_......"
Copy all the files from inside the folder "L70081_CN_SECURE_USER_......" to the Folder "L70081_ROW_SECURE_USER_......"
Run standard Rescue process in Lenovo Smart and Rescue assistant
After this, device will have Chinese ROM and will be booted in this ROM.

No this thread is for firmware issues. I got mine working using the method oldboy mentions.
I tried several times, but now my cell phone doesn't show anything on the screen. Could you give me a hand? in qfil several errors appear.

need to search on google. there have a few thing tht lead to sahara fail. n let the phone in download mode for a long time also one of it. after u connet to pc u need to press download quick.

i tried replacing global rom with china rom in rsa now my phone is brick and i tried flashing in qfil it keeps on failing my phone is locked bootloader. any fix?
