I have an HTC desire Z aka the T-mobile G2. On a bone stock rom, the play store works with no issues. After rooting, on stock rom, playstore still works. Now, the minute I flash a custom rom with the correct gapps, the playstore never works. I always get an (RPC S-7 AEC-7) error. I've tried many roms from gingerbread to kitkat and none of them have the playstore functioning properly. I noticed the google play framework and google play services weren't there so I sideloaded the apps, and it still doesn't work. I tried clearing caches, factory resets, removing my google account, wiping playstore, services and framework data, and nothing works. What could this be???

I downloaded CM11 and the gapps package tonight. Play Store force closes every time I try to open it. This is causing a lot of issues, as other apps won't work unless I can get into Play Store to update Google Services Framework. I've tried all the "fixes" on google, I've installed CM 11 (4.4.2) on my Evo4GLTE. Installed the (I assume) correct gapps from the cm wiki, as well as the most recent Paranoid Android gapps. I can't get Play Store to open. I get "Unfortunately Google Play Store has stopped" no matter what. I've cleared cache/dalvik, reinstalled gapps, removed/re-added my google account, cleared cache/data on Play Store, Framework, download and download manager. Fresh install, no changes on my part other than basic setup stuff.
Can anyone help me? I've never had this much of an issue with Android before, and it's driving me insane.
There is an option in Titanium Backup to integrate updates of System Apps into ROM.
My play store as well as Google Services framework were updated, so I used the option in Titanium for Google Servives Framework.
Now my Play Store doesn't work and Google framework services also crash.
I have tried:
- Flashing PA Gapps again (I am on a PA ROM, I9500)
- Installing Play store and GFS separately by disabling the older ones
- Installing above on top of existing as an update, where the installations of both were successfull
However still nothing is fixed. GFS might be working as I don't get errors by apps using GFS. But I don't get push notifications.
But play store app is broken. It always shows "No internet. Retry now"
Have tried removing data, clearing cache, of the play store app.
But it just shows retry now and an option in the left to switch account.
How do I fix this.
I need completely fresh Play Store and GFS, w/o factory wipe or loosing data.
Help appreciated. thanks
Hey guys,
i have flashed my Asus Padfone S to the CM 12.1 build 2015_11_07 and installed gapps after succeed.
At first i had the wrong gapps which leads to problems with google sound search at rebooting.
No i have the pico package of gapps, which failed first time cause system should be wiped.
As wished, i wiped system, factory reset, with data, dalvik, cache, flash CM, flash gapps..
Everything works, only big problem is that push isn't working. Seems to be a problem with google play services, caus e.g. the Threema App meant after installing that no push-service installed, had to install play services. Also whatsapp etc. doesn't work to setup after installing.
Only Google Apps (Gmail, Hangouts etc) are working fine with push..
I've tried to restore my origin backup in TWRP, but after succeed it ends in a bootloop.
Any ideas what to try?
[EDIT] I have passed the bootloop from my backup by wipe / factory reset, now I am in the origin firmware. But also here the play services and missing push services bug exists.
But after updating google play services from the playstore it seems to work, I have to analyze it more to say if it works.
Ideas what's the problem with the CM 12.1? I would like to switch to CM12.1, but usually without having this bug..
I keep getting rpc:s-7:aec-7 error with differend endings (for example: rs3s-jrmd-moptaj). I tried clearing data on play store and google services framework but nothing seems to be working. I also did factory reset both from the device and stock recvery. The device is Flyer p512 with 16 GB ROM. Rooting and installing custom rom is out of the question. It was fine when was bought but after doing factory reset it started and I can't resolve this.
I just had this happen to mine, and it turned out that Google Play Services was missing. I downloaded (using the tablet itself) and installed the APK, rebooted, and then I was able to download and update apps through the Play store. Hope this helps.
Hi Everyone, I have a Samsung Galaxy J5008 which is rooted. My Problem is I don't have an Playstore. My Problem starts when i decided to Update my Phone using Odin 3.11.1 from J5008ZMU1AOF1 to J5008ZMU1AOL1. Before i started to update it. The phone was fine and no problems.. But after I Flashed the update.. Google Play Services show an "Google Play Services Has stop working" and the Google Play does not work either even I have an Internet connection. I've tried to fix it using the methods I found in Google like Clearing the Data, Clearing the cache, etc. Now after that one. I tried Factory Reset. Still no luck. And the last thing what I did was trying to replace the APK file which is I can't find those files in /system or in any Place. I also tried to search it manually on my whole device but can't find it. So... I decided to delete the package name folders on /data/data but also no luck.. So I tried to Unistalling Google Play, Google Play Services, Google Services Framwork using TitaniumBackup. And know everything is Screwed up. After that. I installed TWRP on it and wipe all partitions out there like /system, /data/, etc then I Flashed The J5008ZMU1AOL1 again but after flashing and rebooting. Google Play, Google Play Services, Google Services Framework is still not presented. Please Help me..
Why not try flashing OF1 again?
I tried. Nothing happens. Playstore is still missing.
Anyone? Please help. If someone had a same device can you give me the boot.img or a system dump? Its J5008
