Hi!
I got an old Lumia 920 and it works fine, but there is one issue:
The display changes the colors when I change the angle I'll look on it. I think the display is not the original display.
What can I do? Is changing the display the only way to solve this issue, or is there any other way to solve the problem?
Many thanks!

Hey I noticed a few weeks ago, and I'm still noticing that the Defy's screen has a reddish tint instead of a white/blue one.
So apart from Cyanogen settings to change renderFX, is there a way to change the Defy's display temperature colour to like a bit more blue?? Because the red tint make the Defy look cheap lol...
Is there any app possible to achieve this??
Try with RenderFX Widget. You can change its tint. Just change in one tint and then disable it...it should be normal.
Hi,
I bought the Lumia 800 couple days ago and noticed that altho I have the overall theme of the phone set to dark the email apps still have white background with black writing. I've been wondering if there is a way how to change it to black background with white writing?
Also, the keyboard in landscape mode seems to have black bars on each side making it much smaller then if it was spread across the whole screen for to me no apparent reason. Is there a way to change that also?
Thanks to anyone who can help.

Here's my problem with my Galaxy S3 I9300.
The colours are too saturated and too bright (washed out). Display is also pixelated that is better seen on dark background. I tried to change the color scheme, the brightness settings and even hard reset the phone (through Settings > Back up and reset > Factory data reset), but nothing has worked so far. The screen is still weird.
I have attached pictures of how my screen looks vs the screenshot of how it should really look and also attached the Black box image test found here.
Black level - Lagom LCD test
and how it looks on my S3 and what happens when i pinch to zoom out
The day i got this set, i tried to tweak some contrast settings with help of some different apps but nothing made it better so i let the phone rest for a bit and later when i picked up the phone, the colours were perfect and all fixed. The display was flawless for a couple of days until today the issue came back out of the blue when i unlocked the screen in the afternoon. i tried restart, taking out battery. I even opened the set and tried cleaning the LCD contact on the motherboard but nothing worked.
So, my question is: does this screen problem sound like a hardware problem or can it be solved by software? If it can be done through software, what can I do?
Thanks in advance!
If a factory reset doesn't change the problem then I bet it is a hardware problem...
Hello!
Has anyone else experienced such a flashing screen error? On the right side in dark mode in some apps (like Play store, Options, Translate)
It looks like the screen is switching between two colors(greenish and grey)
I made a video https://photos.app.goo.gl/1UsQScfeVNtktxB98
Google chat support says software bug and are working on it, email support: "The “rainbow effect” is a trait of OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) screens. To avoid this effect, you can look at your phone straight on or tilt it at a slight angle."
I think it is not the rainbow effect.
I hope it is a software problem and and no warranty repair is required.
yes, this has been posted here before in another thread about the screen. The user shows in a video that switching between 60 and 90 Hz he gets the same effect you do. His is top to bottom, not sideways though. When you touch the screen it switches to 90Hz.

Seeing that your language setting is in German I assume you are from Germany. Know that there are a number of other folks and somebody made the conclusion that this might have to do with a batch of devices sent to Germany that all have that problem.
