for some reason when i try downloading files from the web browser on my phone, i get notification error msgs saying "download failed" or "download unsuccessful". i run android 4.4.2. can someone pls help
would someone pls be able to help me out? im trying to figure out why i cant download files from any web browser. ive tried chrome and the default browser that came with my phone

Everytime i log on to msn messenger lately i'm getting this messege to update my msn messenger, having tried repeatedly to do this all i get when i reach microsofts download page is "page not found, 404 file error" ect. Anyone else got this problem? Or have you managed to download it, if so can i have a copy for ppc2002 please???

Well, thanks all for your input and trying to help, but it seems that the link on microsoft's page has miraculously started working, i now have the update and all is sweet.
hello everyone i am working on a new surprise for us i cant sya any details about it atm......but... ive run into an issue maybe someone can offer sme ideas to fix cause ive run out of ways.......
market returns a 491 error no matter what i try to dl or update i can open market go to my account my apps...i can see everything right but after i hit accept to download it sits there the download icon appears in status bar then the error pops up says error 491 cannot be downloaded.... if anyone can help me solve this would be greatly appreciated

I did a bit of googling on this. Im sure its not the case but do you by chance have any proxies set in apn settings? maybe came from porting something or whatever? That seems to be the most popular cause that ive found so far.
Ill keep looking around, see if I find anything else.
Anyone find the fix? I upgraded to an ICS system today and all of a sudden I'm getting error 491 on any attempts to install apps I've purchased. I can't find any proxy settings in ICS.
(UPDATE) I found the fix for me: Clearing cache and Dalvik cached worked.
hi guys, i have installed [ROM][XXALF6][22Jun]Online●●●►Omega v6.0 on my s3, i installed the remove bloat ware option, all installed fine. anyhow... So i use a site to download apks, well i did when i was running stock rom, the problem i am getting now is that the website loads up fine, i select the app i want, info loads up on a new screen showing the info about the app, then at the bottom you click the download button and normally it goes to another site where you wait a few seconds and then you can download it... but all i get now is the "web page not available" screen when i know the page is working fine because i can access it on my pc and works phone...any ideas what could be causing it? i have tried installing other browsers (chrome and mozilla) but no joy

Hey all. I need some help and for once can't find a solution myself. After the ics updates I can't click links on mobile versions of sites. I've un installed all my browsers and tried Chrome, stock, and ics browser + with the same result. The links highlight but don't go anywhere. I have to long press and choose Open.
Also, my phone constantly pops up with Updating Media Files. That is annoying.
Any help would be appreciated

please bear with me as I know this must be the most asked question and I have found n number of solutions on the web for this. However, I am at my wits end as I have tried every solution in the book and every browser recommended with absolutely no results.
My question is not how to install Flash or how to get it to work, but to find out what I am doing wrong.
I have this flash presentation of interior spaces on the site (url below) which I can see on my laptop/desktop but just unable to view on any browser on my Android 4.2.1.

For a complete story, I use Micromax Canvas 4 (India Product) running on Android 4.2.1. I have downloaded Flash Player 11.1.115.69 and installed on my phone. I have Dolphin browser ver 10.2.5 with the setup of "Flash Player" - "Always on" in the settings. I also have Firefox with settings - Plugins Enabled.
However, I am just unable to view the above content over the phone and am just frustrated with this right now. I have a customer presentation coming up for this and I do not know how to show the content over the smartphone.
Any suggestions - welcome.

Well, what happens when you TRY to start the presentation? Any error Messages?
Did you try in other browsers, go to drawer and run Flash Player settings.

Well the screen goes blank and nothing happens. Its the same case with both the browsers.

These are the two browsers I tried. Can try others if they can solve the issue.
