Touch Sensitivity App? - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey I got a screen protector by Skinomi but I have had an issue with the screen sensitivity since I installed that protector and an otterbox... The sensitivity is incredibly low so I have to literally smash my finger on the screen to touch the edge (rounded and flat area near edge).
Hoping that there is an app or something out there to make it more sensitive or calibrate the screen maybe? I dont care for knox or anything like that and I am rooted with a japanese S6 Edge... SM-925J. With AU KDDI... Don't know how much that matters but just in case. Thank you in advance guys!

pre applied screen protector

Guys I noticed that after 3 weeks of use the pre applied screen protector has a lot of small tiny scratches.
I'm normally very cautious with the screen no scratches on my previous phones (one gorilla glass and two with screen protectors (those had the same only after a lot of months of use and replaced by a new one)
Is the purpose of the pre applied sheet only to keep the screen in one piece in case of the worst case and the phone drops?
Or is it a screen protector which can be replaced?
What is your experience here
O and for the guys which using the phone without the protector how turns that out in daily use?

I've removed the pre-applied screen protector since day 1. It's actually making my screen's sensitivity very low. I'm using only one sheet of anti-glare screen protector on it, and it had been working well for me.
Just pulled my preinstalled protector off as it was bugging me. Not sure I have done the right thing! The screen now feels a bit sticky even after a good clean. However the capacitive buttons do feel a bit more responsive.
Will report back after a couple of days without it.
Leave it there...
The company decided to place a screen protector (placed it perfectly) coz a lot of people like it's presence for more protection for their devices.
You have the choice to keep it or peel it off as u wish.
IMO; leave it there until it's unbearable for u, then u can remove it and replace it with another high quality one!
And for the responsiveness issue, in my experience with my other devices i've never felt any difference between having it on or not!!!!
I'm not remove the preinstalled screen protector but add in 1 more layer screen protector which is coming out of the box.
After a day without my screen protector, I am pleased I went ahead and removed it. I have now cleaned the screen with glass cleaner and the stickiness has gone. Colours are slightly improved and there is an extra, if subtle, sharpness to the screen.
The main improvement is that the capacitive buttons are much more sensitive than before.
I've just removed mine, the difference to touch response is great
Sorry but for me, I HAVE to wear the preinstalled or any other screen protections. I can NOT go with my phone and when I see a scratch in my screen I know it will be there for ever! With screen protection I always know when I see scratches in my screen(protection) I know its only the protection that got scratched.
So but that's me. Don't care if the screen gets a little bit more responsive, protection is important!

You are asking the right questions! I look forward to the next response from Sony on part number vs your querying about a protector on-top of a protector.
If people are finding touch sensitivity affected with one layer, two layers must be even worse!!
how the heck do you even remove this??!
I've got two on, and pre applied and one that was in the box (put that on before I knew about the pre applied one) touch realy isn't bad, but i swipe the 3 menu buttons as habit now, and works pretty good. I have a year on contract left, and i hate scratches so I'm happy XD

I use two layers as well. Generally Swype up for the buttons. And am perfectly happy with the responsiveness of the screen and buttons

[Q] Oil Resistant Screen Protectors

Hi all,
One thing that has really been frustrating me lately is how easy it is to get fingerprints and oil marks on my Galaxy Note screen. It drives me crazy so much that I have gotten in the habit of bring a cloth with me everywhere I go. I have done some searching off and on this site and have found some that claim to be finger print or oil resistant. But nothing compares to referrals from hand on experience. Anybody out there have this frustration, but was able to solve it with a specific screen protector? Is it realistic to expect little to no oil or fingerprints on some screen protectors out there?

Removing Scratches From A Screen.

Hi, guys. I noticed a small scratch on my LG G3, it's small enough that you can't feel or see in normal use, but in the sunlight it becomes noticeable. It's just something that's irritating me. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with any DIY scratch removal methods? Also, I just purchased a Spigen screen protector. Do you think the screen protector will conceal the scratch? Thanks in advance!

Screen sensitivity can it be changed ?

Can we change the screen sensitivity for the LCD. Specially for the ballistic case ? It comes with a plastic film protector for the screen but with it on it's a pain to touch the screen properly thru the film. Mostly to the top right. Has anyone else had this case or had this problem with a similar case ? Or know if its possible to set the sensitivity a little higher ?http://m.ebay.com/itm/261552613510?nav=SEARCH
I use the 0.2mm iCarez glass screen protector and since replacing the Verizon shipping plastic with that the sensitivity has increased dramatically. Unrooted, I do not know of a way to change it.
I've searched all the settings and haven't found a setting for the sensitivity so I would suggest like you said find one that it will work with. So a message to all users the screen cover from ballistic does not work well. Case is awesome though.

Question screen not very responsive at the very edges?

Not sure if it's just my screen protector, which i have had to replace now a couple of times.
But i am finding when i touch the very edges of the phone, it's not very responsive, the part almost as it curves.
Is anyone else finding that?
Regards
James
Strange, what kind of screen protector do you use?

Download edge touch goodlook module from galaxy store to edit unresponsive area
It is intended by samsung to prevent accidental touch from edges , but edge touch app can decrease or remove the unresponsive area
Give that a try, didn't really make any difference.
Is it normal that the edges aren't very responsive then, or is something up with mine?
I guess i'll have to also take yet another screen protector off to make sure it's not that.
