Hi!
I've been asked to "fix" a "broken" chinese tablet. The tablet won't boot; sometimes it get stucked at boot logo (some chinese brand I think), and sometimes get stucked at a black screen.
Power button+volume UP brings the layed-down-android-with-red-exclamation secreen, but no combination afterwards brings me the recovery menu. It also has a reset button on the backwards. I've pressed it several times, from 3 to 60 seconds, and it only resets like the reset button on a PC.
I've wiped data with some software I've found somewhere (android multi tools, a green DOS menu), but still I'm having the same issue.
I've read about reinstalling the firmware with phoenixcard, but I can't find the right one. I've uploaded some pictures to ask for help.
Thank you very much!
Try Livesuit 1.11.
I'm running FaaastJB v2.5 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2447819
Flashed a few ROM's using Livesuit and works great

Hi guys,
I have an Aoson M30 (rockchip 3066) and it now won't boot to the home screen.
It Just turns on to the company logo boot up screen (which is normal) but stays at this screen. It flashes the pattern over and over so the processor is obviously still running .
It should then go to the home screen but just continues to flash the boot screen.
I tried to reload the firmware but the Rockchips batch tool doesn't work either. It sees the tablet but stays at "pink" on the indicator screen. It doesn't turn green (which it needs to) so the firmware will not transfer to the tablet.
I have reset via the reset button, flattened and recharged etc but it wont start up
.
I tried booting holding the volume + and power buttons and it comes up with an image of 2 penguins? Then it shows a vertical android bot for a second before showing one lying down with a " !" symbol above it.
I guess the firmware is corrupted but without the ability to reload I fear I may have a brick!!!!
Any ideas?
Cheers

Hi,
i had the same problem some time ago and the way I solved it was by flashing again the original rom.
Your issue might be the driver installatin on the PC to recognize the tablet as a M30. I had to use an XP to be sble to install properly the RK3066 drivers.
Also try tomuse another usb cable. The one it comes with the tablet is quite patchy and I had to use a good quaƱity one.
Dont give up, if you ger the endless logo loop I dont think it is bricked.
Good luck.
Hi everyone, I have this weird problem with my S6500, or rather my younger brother has.
He tried to put on his S6500 (not D, this phone is with NFC) Cyanogenmod 10.1, after some ups and downs, he finally got it to work, but... camera wasn't working, it was said on the cyanogenmod page to flash with the newest update, he did that, phone worked good... almost, after he was blocking his screen, he couldn't unlock it, because there was some kind of white screen stuff, weirder was the thing, that he could hear all the *clicking* sounds as he was trying to unlock. He had to restart the phone every time after he blocked the screen, so he wanted the phone to function normally and tried to put his stock ROM back again. Well the flashing went well (as Odin showed) but the phone stucked in bootloop.
The phone showed the Orange logo (he is using his original stock rom from Orange Poland, downloaded from sammymobile) and then it quickly changed to Samsung logo, after that the phone vibrates once, and after that it vibrates 3 times really fast and restarts from the Orange logo.
He tried to get into Recovery mode, but coul;dn't (the phone doesn't react to any of the combinations we found - vol+,vol-, home and power and many others), and as I forgot to mention before, after every flash (while the recovery was working) he cleared data in menu of the recovery.
We also tried the different method to boot the phone into recovery mode (put it in Download mode, which works and then instead of going further by pressing vol+ we pressed the down button and held vol+,vol- and home button, but instead of going into recovery the phone booted in weird screen with small letters RAMDUMP MODE (ARM9 mode).
We tried several times to flash new recovery with Odin, but it doesnt work, the PIT file also doesn't work, or can someone provide me with the stock s6500 PIT file as I couldn't find one, because I read in the Polish forum, that screen mentioned before only shows up if there is a SuperUser app in the phone, so we need the PIT file to flush it.
So the problem is after flashing it with numerous cwm and original stock roms we couldn't get it to boot or to get into recovery menu, or get it working.
Also the hardware is all ok, as the phone is almost brand-new ( he got it from the Orange few months ago).
So help plz?
I have the very SAME problem with my S6500D. Same as described above.
Anyone has managed to fix this problem ? I have all needed tools.
Hi everybody.
as mentioned before ive received an padfone2 who would not boot annymore.
no asus logo nothing. only the navigation buttons lit when touched.
what you need for the solution is a pc/ laptop with linux mint (or anny other version) installed.
first i had to open the device cause the flatcable for the screen was lose.
solved it the it booted with te asus logo and the dotted circle and stayed this way..
ive connected the padfone to my linux machine booted the padfone showing all partitions. 4 or 5 wouldnt mount.
ive repaired them from a console typing "fsck /dev/sda(number of partitions who failed to mount)" and press enter. (be sure you type the correct number only not mounted partitions should be done.)
after that partions (exept one) repaired perfect.
after that ive downloaded the latest firmware for my region and copied it to the 25gb partition. stil in linux
rebooted the padfone into basic recovery (ive got a screen for choosing to go to recovery or stay in download mode) trying every possible option with the power button and the volme keys
choose install from cache and there it was the wwe version of the rom ive copied (ive choose the latest version for my region (kitkat)
and it began to install (first it installed after reboot it seemed to bootloop but again the install screen with the belly open android emerged.
rebooted again and booted into the first install screen (updating 3 of 120 or something like that) now it works like a charm.
im happy, customer happy, perhaps this makes more people happy
succes

Dear Sir!
I have the common problem of Asus Padfone: Continuous boot loop.
Everytime I do a factory reset it works great, after one or two days it starts the boot loop.
From what I red in internet during these weeks it seems to be a problem of the partitions, as one of them i loosing its memory.
Can you please explain in more details your approach?
Commands in Linux? How to repair a partition, etc?
I am new in Linux but willing to learn.
Thank you for your understanding.
The comand is in the instruction type it as root in a terminal
Hi, first of, this is my first post on this forum, so sorry if this is by chance in the wrong place...
Right, now the issue;
I got a Lenovo Tab A10 (model: Lenovo A7600-F. There is another set of code that goes like Lenovo A7600-F TAB A16GBE-DE)
and I have a serious feeling its bricked.
I turned it on today (at time of writing) and it gave the "Lenovo FOR THOSE WHO DO" logo like normal, and stayed like that...
forever...
So after I pushed the little white reset button besides the micro-sim slot I boot up in recovery mode by holding the volume up and power button till the black screen with the white letters pop up, and I select [Recovery Mode].
Then the Lenovo logo pops up again, and after a second or two an Android looking like he's playing very dead comes on screen with a "!" exclamation mark
above and the text "No command" under it.
I tried a reboot with the same splash screen hangning as before.
I looked up on the internet and found that clearing the cache helped a person, so I did that by pushing the power button with the dead Android and scrolled to "clear chache" with the volume buttons.
I did that, tried a reboot, but nothing happened, same result as the previous reboot.
I went as far as restoring the factory settings and rebooting but to no avail.
I go digging.
I found it could b the rom, the os or both that is totally f%#@ed up somehow and that it is in fact repairable.
Some more digging about and I find this: forum.frandroid.com/topic/203630-clockworkmod-recoveryroot-pour-lenovo-a10-70-a7600f/
Those links are very useful, because they bring me to a bunch of downloads that contain the flashing tool I need and recovery images along with a link to
Lenovo Smart Assistant. Also I can read French, so following the instructions wouldn't be a problem.
The first thing I do is connect the tab and start up Lenovo Smart Assistant (with the tab off). The computer (win8.1 Packard Bell Easynote LE) makes the chime of something
being connected, but I cannot see the device between My Computer like I normally do.
Neither does the Lenovo Smart Assistant recognise anything plugged in after a scan.
Following the instructions on how to recover with the Flash Tool also is fruitless because the Flash Tool doesn't recognise anything plugged in either.
I've now completely run out of options and don't know what to do.
Is there any way at all to save the tab and get it back up and running?
Hello
Yesterday i have recieved the Pepsi (Koobee) P1S. it was full of bloatware so i decided to flash a modded rom. After i realized that this custom rom is only in english and chinese (Im German) i wanted to switch back to the original. But then i made the biggest mistake: I have flashed the false rom (CM for Mt6592 CPU but false Smartphone). After that i have flashed the right original rom again. but a strange Error appears: the Phone boot up normaly and then freeze and reboot by itself..over and over again. But not at the same step. Sometimes it freeze during the Bootanimation..sometimes it boot up completly and i can swipe through the Screens (for about 10 sec). When i push the standby button (Display went off) the Phone stays in this mode and dont freeze.
the i flashed TWRP and try to wipe the phone. Even in TWRP it freeze, but not during the wipes or in the Boot Mode slelect screen.
I Have a friend with the same phone. Is it possible to copy a complete backup (eMMC etc) to my phone? Or someone had a Idea what i can try next? I have flashed different roms (for this phone) so many times, but the error is still there.
Please help me.. It should be a present for my GF birthday today
SOLUTION
I downloaded the flashtool that flashes MTK Devices then searched google for Pepsi p1s needrom and downloaded the original firmware scatter file, turn off the P1S unplug it from USB,...Start the flashtool, and search the firmware will be second search bar select search and browse your computer for the firmware you downloaded from needrom, then you will see it load all the files.....there is a button bar that has an arrow open the arrow and select firmware update, then hit the green go button after you hit the green go button plug in your powered off PEPSI P1S ....it will give you a red bar on the flashtool at bottom first, then it will format your device properly, then install all the necissary files, its real quick about 3 minutes, after a box will pop up on the screen and say OK with a big check mark, at this point you can unplug your phone, power it up and wait about 3 minutes, everything will be normal again. So sorry I would post the links however I forgot my password and username that I was using for many years and forgot my recovery email as well.....so if you google it you can find the stuff, just hope I helped with the proper method of flashing......good luck, let me know how it goes.
Thanks but i know how to flash the firmware with SP Flash Tool. i have flashed the P1S with 3 different roms..but always the same error (freeze and reboot at different points)
Are you using download mode? Or firmware update? The reason I ask is download mode always gave me a bootloop, but when switched to firmware update mode it formats the device correctly and fixes the file structure, try firmware update mode.
Im using "Format All + Download"
Try using firmware update mode, let me know what happens.
same problem...freeze (at different points) ans reboot.
here you can see what happen:

try this! P1
power off
then hold power button + volume down
the boot mode will appear
select recovery
it will show you no command
then pres power button first and the press volume up
now you device is on recovery
then select
wipe data/factory reset.

I have noted one thing.
when I update supersu to play store and reboot it goes in bootloop.
so I recommend not to upgrade or even to make unroot just after removing apps with viruses
