Mates, am an idiot, Thanks.
Am on Jelly Bean rooted, thought i would install fonts since stock are boring, i had tried ifonts too but they didn't work.
So i grabbed a free copy Fonts installer root by Jrummy apps https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.font.installer&hl=en
i selected a font, it asked and it backed up my stock fonts. Then I installed the desired font, but it won't get past Huawei logo.
I tried adb but it's says unauthorised though I see the device number. Google couldn't help.
I was hoping to intsall stock fonts via adb, possible or how else?
Don't have twrp and it does boot into bootloader screen, where it says boot loader status unlocked. I read related forums but can't seem
to lock on which way is better?
Help please

Did that, not working.
then try this method:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2886630
And remember root is double side sword, you should have backup before play as root.
Is there anyway to change fonts through the entire operating system? Not Dpi. Has anyone had success. I have tried iFonts, font installer by jrummy apps, then via xposed, but no success. Am on 4.3, B148.

[Q]Sony BootLoop Solution??
Only post here is somebody get the solution of bootloop problem..
i think that the only think that we can do is wait for someone that posts an update.zip to be flashed via recovery, obviously for the different versione..mine is 16gb 3g (europe sgpt114it)...your is?
I understand that we're all happy we got root, but you gotta be careful running out and deleting/freezing everything without a proper way to restore!
Also, these question threads should all be moved to general.
sorry for posting here, but I can see many people facing this similar boot loop issue & other threads are getting flooded, that is why I posted here..
Lets try to find some way as of now to get rid of this frustrating boot loop !!!
EDIT:
Can anyone tell me, what exactly should be present inside those update.zip?
I am not able to unzip or see the content of signed-nbx03_001XXXXXXXXX.zip, giving some error !!!
it gives errors because the zip is encrypted
what if someone posts a full rom dump and i flash all the files manually via adb?
I tried with another zip and now in Recovery Mode , getting below error:
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.

on that boot loop - do you have access to adb? for a second or two?

i had, now it just hangs on the sony logo on the boot..the only hope left is an original update.zip for my model...

Since some files are encrypted or contain personal keys, I would think that this would be not advisable. Especially if you have the 3G version (IMSI keys, eyc.)
However, if you can remember what was the last action you performed before the bootloop (for example, uninstalled a particular system app), I would be happy to find the .apk and/or relevant system folder for you so you can install it via ADB (I suppose this would be possible, provided you still have ADB access and root/su).
I was trying to change the fonts using FONT CHANGER, I have not deleted any of the default apps or anything.

****.. thats not good.. you cant even reflash the same version of update..
you could wait for another update from sony, or wait for some hack of recovery, or hm... warranty?
are you able to get into recovery?
I am able to go into Recovery Mode, tried updating thru sdcard but I think we dont have the proper firmware to restore!!!
Its under warranty but donno wanna go there, it needs a solution coz I will again try to change fonts for sure
Did you try looking at condi's post? I am not quite sure what condi managed to achieve, but it sounds at least relevant.
Also, bear in mind I have posted a link to the contents of the (stock) font folder. If we knew exactly what changes are made by this application, it would be possible to revert them. If you can find out, I can find the stock files for you so you can manually reverse this issue.
EDIT: Do NOT try any of the above -- according to sapphire88. You've been warned!
tried both the way, by replacing the fonts with the original ones and by editing the build.prop...the results is that now i'm stucked at the sony logo (no more one time access to the home screen) ...contacted sony to ask them if i could have the original firmware in update.zip format...perhaps (i don't really think that they will give it to me)...
Well, this still makes no sense however. Can we approach the developer of Font Changer and ask the sort of changes the application is performing? I assume that it is not just replacing fonts, but also some system files that point to the fonts that are being used. If we could track all changes and reverse them, surely this would fix the issue.
What about condi's downgrade/upgrade option? (you said it did not work)
Also, do you still have access to ADB (perhaps in recovery)? If you do, then you can still essentially find ways to fix this issue. But for the time being let's black list Font Changer.
i haven't used an app to change the fonts, i've manually replace the three clock fonts (only those three files), and it ended in a bootloop, in recovery adb doesn't work and i can't no more access to the home screen to use adb..
anyone know about Safety Mode?? How to enter into safety mode.
Note: I am NOT talking about Recovery mode..

ADB is available in recovery - just wait a minute or two - it will become available. But its not fully working as in normal boot. Check it, you can 'adb push' some files, maybe you could turn your fonts to stock ones?

Yes, I figured it out some time ago, press power + vol-down, and keep vol-down pressed until tab fully start system.

Hello,
I am in a big fix now,
I cleaned a bunch of files with Titanium Backup and have have backups of the uninstalled apps which include my default gallery (I had another gallery app), Homescreen Launcher and some others.
By mistakenly I reset my phone to factory settings and now after resetting I cannot access any functions. Since I had deleted the launcher. I am having the files of the launcher though but since the phone has USB Debugging turned off and Google Account not set, I am not able to do anything!!
Please help me with this. Is there any update.zip kind of file to reinstall the launcher? I am using Motorola Fire XT311 which has locked bootloader so no Nandroids too :'(
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and waiting for earliest replies!!
you need to unlock your bootloader, custom recovery, and custom rom

Hello,
I have a rooted Iocean G7.
I wanted to install the framework module with the Xposed installer app. This was no success, I got a bootloop. After this I contacted Iocean, and I have flashed my phone with the computer. It works fine now, as it should.
Now my question is, how can I install the framework module without getting a bootloop or other problems?
Thank you,
Robert

That could be possible, I am going to ask to rovo98, if he can make framework compactible with my phone.
I hope he wants to do
On Tweakers they think that the Rom is not compactible, but I do not think so... You?

What root method did you do that didn't require USB Debugging to be enabled?? But yea, I dunno about that. You're going to have to find out though. You'll need the SP Flash Tool to work, whether it's to install the custom recovery, or to install the entire stock firmware.

There is a 'Super User' setting in Settings which I enabled.
I tried installing PdaNet but that does require USB debugging to complete the installation.
Isn't there a standard recovery mode on these phones that I can use (combination key press) to install a rom copied onto the SD card?

That's pretty handy. But no, the stock recovery does not support that. You might be able to get out of it just from doing a factory reset in the stock recovery, but it's hard to say since Xposed makes changes to /system as well and the factory data reset does not affect the /system partition, just /data

You didn´t mentioned which firmware you are currently but generally you can have system r/w acces by installing @Nut´s XZDualrecovery. Link is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2794175
It disable SonyRic which is to blame that you don´t have system write acces. You could also try to flash this in custom recovery (TWRP) which just put @Nut rickiller script´s to correct places: https://mega.co.nz/#!EEwwyTCK!A9mukPNmnuULXCXaU_mmwmvfxLXxythip2PGqd-u4DI.

I'm running 17.1.d.0.437 and bootloader is locked since it is Verizon model and not able to load a custom recovery. So by not being able to have a custom recovery the reason? I have a locked bootloader on my note 3 and able to have root without issues. I know different devices.

I rooted my Acer B3-A10 tablet with the latest King Root. I purchased then installed SuperSU Pro and successfully updated the binaries. I wanted to use Chainfire's product and support his efforts. I follow him on XDA. After the SuperSU installation my tablet will not boot. I can get into its recovery mode and into fastboot. ADB does not work in the recovery mode. I have a backup.ab file but can not install it without ADB access. I can not find a factory recovery image to flash. Any suggestions?
I took out my SD card then selected update from external source. Several strange folders were displayed including one that was labelled Do Not Panic. None of them were functional. I still have not determined what I can do next. I loaded the source code for my tablet into Android Studio and created a functional emulated device but I can't transfer it to the tablet.
did you ever find a way to fix this as this has happened to me too.
i rooted with kingroot and installed supersu by way of supersume pro
Sad to say to you guys but supersume pro is not working anymore with the latest devices. the app is no longer updated. lucky it works for me but i used the basic one or the free i mean. Not the pro.
