Hi,
S6 edge using S Health with external Heart rate Garmin (Ant+)
After starting S Health my Garmin ANT HRM 54345 is detected, but cannot find how I can start reading with my external soft cardio sensor from Garmin
Using internal rate Heart reading is OK.
Thanks for answer

I received a message from my favorite workout app (Sportypal) that you can turn your phone into a cycle computer that will track speed, cadence and heart rate. This sounds great to me but for the android device (Rezound for me) to get info from the speed and cadence sensors it needs to support ANT+. Does anyone know if the Rezound can connect to an ANT+ sensor?
Hi.
Is L9 II compatible with heart rate sensors like Polar H7?
I tried to install the Polar app from Play Store but failed and it's not under officcial compatible phones on their website. May it still be usable with our phone, It does have Bluetooth 4.0 etc.
Is it possible to connect an external HR sensor like the Wahoo Tickr to the Gear fit 2 using either Bluetooth or ANT+?
Unfortunately I'm 99% sure that no as I saw it in a review video. I don't remember who exactly, I think the TechyAgent or RizKnows.
That would be unfortunate. The optical heart-rate sensors are known to be inaccurate and the Fit 2 sensor in particular has not impressed some of the reviewers so far. As a fitness focused wearable, it really should have the capability to at least connect to a bluetooth HR sensor for improved HR accuracy during exercises. This is something that the direct competition does support (Garmin Vivoactive HR - via ANT+).
In my case, I have a Wahoo Tickr X which can connect with Bluetooth LE (or ANT+) so it would be really great if Samsung enables that capability.
As for the HR feed into S-Health with an HR sensor connected to phone, does that merge with exercise sessions that are captured by the Fit 2 at the same time?
Hi!
Are there any Stratos 3 owners that have a heart rate monitor strap which works together with the watch?
I have a Polar H7 which I read it works with the Stratos 2. But I have not managed to connect it to the watch
Today I got the H7 working. Didn't do anything different from when I tried yesterday. It just connected and tested it for a little walk and it was fine.
Not sure what to blame here if the strap or the watch. Let's see how reliable it is over time
Hi. I have Suunto smart sensor. And it works just fine with stratos 3.
Hi!
I have been using my stratos 3 with an external HRM strap (Polar H7) and that works great. I have also read that it is possible to use also the Bluetooth headphones at the same time for music (although I have not tried this yet)
My question is if it is possible to use two external Bluetooth devices at the same time? E.g. the HRM + a cadence sensor for biking. I was planning to buy a cadence sensor since I saw it is supported in bike workouts, but I won't do it if it can't be used together with the HRM strap.
Thanks

Unfortunately I can't answer your questen. But perhaps you can help me. I'm using the Polar OH1 as external HRM sensor together with the Stratos 3. This works great too. But I'm a bit conserned about battery life. One hour running with the OH1 costs nearly 25% battery. That means that I have a total time of about 4 hours for work outs. That's ok for training, but not enough for a marathon or so (at least with my pace)
Do you have other experiances or tricks with the H7?

1. BT headphones + BT HR chest monitor = Yes.
2. BT Cadence sensors = No.

I had read that the first Stratos was also using a lot of battery if used with external HRM. It is not the case for me with the H7, I run twice per week 30min each and I get 7-8 days battery life. So it might be related to your HRM, it would be worth testing your Stratos with another HRM

Thanks, that is a pity. I don't know why I thought the cadence sensors were already supported in the previous Stratos. I might have misread it somewhere
