Super nice, thank you! :good:
Nice app, thank you.
Free version is a piece of crap. I get nothing but ads. Can't tell if it really does anything.

You know something dude, I gonna remove the ads. It makes my app look silly
you can download and install the apk on the attachment, it has no ads and soon I'll publish new version to the play store
Thanks for reporting
I was never able to take a screen shot. Nothing but ads would pop up. As soon as one would appear and I'd close it another popped up. I uninstalled, rebooted and installed again with exactly the same results. The normal screen would be viewable but maybe a second. If certainly like to try this app, but so far out has been impossible. I don't know if it was your implementation of the ads or something with my phone. But as it was it was totally unusable.
I don't mind ads if used unobtrusively and have always paid for apps I find useful. In this case was unable to determine anything about the app. I'll try the version you posted and be happy to review.
Sorry I called the app crap.

OK, I've tried the app and find it useful. I'd like to see a square face added if you're so inclined. BTW I paid for it just now. I'll pm the gmail account of your like.

-Huawei Watch
-LG Watch Urbane
-LG G Watch <-- square
-Samsung Gear Live <-- square
And of course it has no ads
Note: it may take few hours till it appear in play store
Thanks for the extra frames. I use them when I share my faces.
Any news on this app doesn't store the picture after using the save button.

Hey there!
I recently released an application to show the full text of messages that were shortened before.
It works by replacing the Notifications with Notifications from my app that use either "BigText" or Stacked format to show you the full text.

Be nice to be able to set the text font size in either stacked or big text.
Also, what about a left swipe that then shows all stacked cards fully opened out? I suggest this as if you have a lot stacked cards, it can be a pain to expand them.
Not sure about the Big Text option as it seems difficult to distinguish where one message ends and a new message begins.
Cheers.

Nice app. Would be nice to add multiple apps rather than select each individually.
Edit - my bad, saw that you updated it to do this now!

Sorry guys! I just uploaded a fix.
Not sure how easy is it, or whether the app itself needs to do this, but is it possible to add 'reply' options to apps such as fb messenger, whatsapp, skype etc?
Unfortunately this is impossible, as there's no way to do this. The app developers from WhatsApp etc. have to implement it themselves.

I’ve tried it on my G Watch. But I can’t read the full text of a Facebook Messenger’s message yet, neither stacked messages. Do I do something wrong?

Have you updated the FB Messenger app on your device? Because all the notifications are pushed off it.

Yeah, it’s updated to the last version. I’ve done the last update just three days ago.
I can read the full text, now. But only if there is one message. If they are more than one, I see only the beginning of them — few words. But thankfully I’ve finally got how to bypass the stacked messages’ issue with Wear Notifications.
A very useful and helpful APP.
Thanks!
Hi.
I just wanted to know how to remove all the suggested ads in the news feed of Facebook application. I tried to block some permission which could eventually be the cause of this or even use adblockers but nothing worked for Facebook. So if you have a solution it would be gladly appreciated.
Thank you
That is pretty interesting I have to say. My first idea "impossible as there are no elements that would be easy to distinguish from the other items of the app", but I might be very wrong.

Hmm I see but still it must be a line of code which implements ads as in every free app with ads but I must admit it that as you said, ads in Facebook are in the core of the app and not just a third-party layer. I mean most of ads in others apps are "Google ads" but it's different for Facebook. Maybe decompiling the apk and search for the part with suggested ads could help ^^
Isn't the suggestions just pushed as a news feed item?

If it is so then I have to find the line where the item is implemented and set it to "false" or something like that no? I kind of suck in coding but I'll give it a try one day.
I was almost sure that it can't be as easy as it sounds and it actually isn't. You were taking about bools. Those are either true or false. Unfortunately I was right...

I'll do it with apk tool or apk studio and see what I can change and if it's possible to get some results. I was thinking of making a test on for example deactivate news from a specific user (this could be done from options too) from the apk directly and maybe with a little chance the suggested ads work the same way. If it's the case it's kind of easy to block them I guess.
PS. Did you find the bools.xml in the fb apk? Because I can't find it ^^
Yup. Facebook apk indeed. Disassembled just before my previous post. Nothing helpful in that xml anyway. It's a good idea although I think it won't be that easy.
Good luck though. Shall you need any help, just let me know and I'll do my best to help you. Post anything you find here.

Well I think I was searching it in the wrong place, I went in /data/app then directly in the apk nvm ^^
Well I'll start this tomorrow and see what I can do. I have to say I'm not a genius in coding, only worked in python but it's more logic than anything else. If something looks weird I have Google

Hi, this is my first real thread and I hope this helps or makes someone's day
Apps like Snapchat, Instagram, Kik, among others are behind on material design. Their launch icons are not material. I am not claiming that I have found this, but I'd like to share this.
First, you will need APK Editor Pro, in the Play Store. When you open it, it will say
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If you have APK with you downloaded, use it. If not use APK from app(system apps can't be used, you'll have to extract the apk or convert to user app or uninstall and reinstall).
Pick the app's icon you are going to change. I chose ROM Toolbox Pro.
When you click it, it will say this..
You'll want to click simple edit.
When you do that, you'll come up with this---
NOW read very carefully there are two ways of replacing the image.
Way 1: Find the HDPI folders.
Android apps have these folders that contain the images of the app. You can find them usually by clicking /RES folder. In ROM Toolbox Pro, the app icon is here.
We got lucky, but in some apps you'll have to replace it multiple times for multiple DPI and HDPI's.
Click the little pencil and box right next to the floppy disk(save) icon and replace the image with absolutely any image you want. I changed it already, but for the sake of this tutorial, I'll change it again.
As you can see I've already downloaded and done some apps, I'll show then at the end.
Once you pick an image,
Hit the save button.
Way Two:
Go to images, find the launcher icon, replace and save.
HINT: the name is usually either: appicon ic_launcher_icon or something along that line.
Hit the save button.
It will come up with this.
Click install and you have your custom/materialized icon!

Disclaimer: IF THE APP UPDATES YOU WILL HAVE TO REPEAT THIS PROCESS. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY BROKEN APKS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND YOU INFLICT. GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE, PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE.
If anyone wants my APK's just ask and I'll see what I can do.

Nice post but kinda useless as apps are constantly updated so you be doing this a lot.
There is a better solution which is Desktop Visualizer from playstore.
You will only have to do the process once and it's done.

I get what you're saying, but for me, I want material design icons on stock TouchWiz, and this allows me to do it. Plus, you can change it to absolutely anything, so that's honestly my point. Using this gives us extra freedom and customization to our Android devices.

I have just finished version 2. I will upload it this week.
Version 2 has a night modus. that activates at 22:00 until 6:00.
There is an setting menu that allows you to change those hours.
I also adapted a little bit the watch-face.

So many lovely faces. I am using the standard digital one. The others hurts my eyes. Why would moto put such an awfull screen on this watch?
I change watchfaces a lot, but keep coming back to these two:
Glasshütte NOMOS. I own the real thing but it is too expensive to risk on the golfcourse - so I use this blatant copy there:
And, for MG aficionados:
The idea behind this design is that you'ld normally know the hour (which thus is available in text only).

They are both intellicom watch faces. You'll need to install their software for them to load on your phone & watch first => https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=no.intellicom.lswatchface
The NOMOS is not publicly available - it is a blatant copy of the original NOMOS Tangent "for Doctors without borders" by Glashütte for whom I have too much respect to just republish their work. It is quite easy to make yourself though.
The MG tachometer is available here => http://androidwatchface.com/faces/15861/mg-tacho (search for "MG tacho" in the Watch Gallery available in the intellicom app). You'll find two, one is this one, the other is a variant featuring full 24 hour time and weather in addition to the minute-hand.

Ah, interesting. Mine phone shows the same.
From what I understand, Bluetooth and location will have to be on and we would have to have a contact tracing application installed and also we would have to opt in to be part of tracing. It's possible they are currently collecting anonymized data now even if we don't have a tracing app installed.

One only has to search 'spring break cell phone tracking' to see what they have been doing. This is Version 2.0 in that they are not only trracking you but also maintaining a database of who you physicaly meet with. If it was about me being worried about a fake demic I could of easily nstalled an app. This method show that they are more interested in what they can do as in taking away more privacy. I can turn of notifications that is it. Never trust those in power not to feature creep more and more, history is proof. Yes they can track rioters with it but a sword cuts both ways.
How did you get to this? I recently upgraded to Android 10. I can't find this in settings. I've disabled updates now to prevent getting this "virus"
Edit: I found it (settings->google). Fuuuuck. Why can't I just OWN the ****ing phone I PAID for?
I think it's part of Google Play services which I don't think is blockable by disabling updates.

To activate the covid 19 tracing feature you have to install an app that will ask you for your permission to trace. Without the additional app, it does nothing and is just framework.
The "Care 19" app is an example of one that will pair with the service to begin contact tracing after you give it permission. Some states, like Rhode island have their own dedicated tracing apps that pair with this as well. But again, you have to download and opt into the services.
