The one the comes with the phone is also Chinese
The only issue is - whether this is actually working for YU and if it does, will be really be as it says OVER 5000 MaH
battery & charging circuit are closely connected. Just like our UPS & UPS battery. higher mAH battery should not be connected there may be undesirable safety issues. the charging circuit failure is one expected effect, if it is not designed to handle high mAH.
Suggest me the dealer in India for the same battery. Then and only then I will purchase the same. Got It?
Can I buy in India please help me

Hi guys:
Is it possible to use a battery from another phone? Because sometimes chinese mobiles can be compatible with Nokia's batteries and for a little amount of money, we can get some cooler Nokia's ones.
I'm getting a ZTE Blade this week, so I will tell you my impressions ASAP.
Regards.
I wouldn't recommend using any other battery than the official one provided. You're asking for trouble otherwise.
Why not? If it has the same voltage and fits perfect, there isnt any reason for using this battery. There are other manufacturers of mobile phone batteries that make compatible batteries, so It wouldnt have any problem.
Anyone tried it? I will make a study of MP batteries and then I will tell you if I found something interesting.

More capacity power than the stock one. Finally, I have bought an emergency charger for 10 euros, that have 1900 mah and its affordable for my Samsung Wave and this phone.
Hope that it will solve all battery problems.

Interested aswell in the review, was considering carrying a spare battery but this looks handier.
I considered using another battery too, but this option has multilple advantages:
1) It has 1900 mhAmp, so it lefts 500 mAmphs free to make another charge.
2) I'm using two smartphones, so I can charge both ones.
3) I don't need another charger or charging it in the phone and removing it. I just charge the emergency charger and I can use the phone again.
BTW, my ZTE Blade seems to be the AMOLED version, with low battery consumption. I'm using stock GB firmware, and after a day using 2G network, WiFi, playing Angry Birds for 30 minutes, using Whatsapp and a few phone calls, I have 30% left. SO I'm quite impressed with battery life, hope it will be as good as my Samsung Wave (I use it around 2-3 days with no problems)
I will make a full review when I will receive the charger.
Regards.
I bought the 2800mAh version of that charger, and man does it work great.
I suppose it's the only must have accessory I can think of to a smartphone.

My phn manufacturer has given me 1600mhz battery.now my question is,can i use more powerful battery?
Like 2000mhz? Or more piwerful one?

yes you can do that but third party bateries are not as much reliable as manufacturers, i would recomend to have 2 or more bateries form phone producer and swap them as needed.

I think you mean mAh, maybe your autocorrect has gone haywire the capacity of a battery is measured in this unit... Milliampere hours. This is the amount of energy that the battery will allow to let 1 amp of current to flow in one hour. A mAh is NOT a measurement of energy, is a measurement of the speed of the flow of energy... Therefore it's nothing to do with the "power" of the battery. So to answer your question, a 2000mAh battery is absolutely fine as long as its from a reputable manufacturer such as Ankers or Mugen; DO NOT buy any higher capacity batteries with no brand name off eBay. If you're having trouble figuring out if the battery you want is safe then just post the link here and I'll check it out for you . another option would be to get a battery from you phone manufacturer which is higher capacity, for example many HTC phones use the same size battery but some are different capacities... Yeah beats me too :silly:

This is incorrect. Using a battery of a different voltage would be damaging, but I expect all phone batteries are similar, if not the same, voltage. A battery which provides too much current may be damaging too. But a higher capacity battery is perfectly safe provided the potential difference and current are the same as usual.

Hey!
My CHDs battery is totally jacked up. Its swollen and provides like 5-10 min of battery backup. Please suggest me some batteries that are possibly of higher capacity and are available online for a nominal price. Also, don't suggest me battery calibration and stuff cause I've tried it all and its definitely a problem in my battery.
P.S.- I bought this phone in August,2013.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

These Mugen batteries are quite expensive plus they also charge extra for shipping i think. so that's out of my reach.
I found some links from somethreads on here but they are either out of stock or the link is dead.
Could you please provide me with a link or two that looks legit to you?

try OEM battery from flipkart..
I had the exactly same problem. Battery used to get charged in under 10mins and after each reboot would show a different battery percentage. The main thing that caused this was over charging. Do not over charge!
I got a new original battery from the local market for about 700 bucks. And now all the problems are gone.

Hello,
I have Galaxy s2 (GT-I9100) but the problem is that it doesn't take charger, however, the phone is showing charging icon.
Everytime I have put my battery in universal battery charger & it take long time to charger my battery i.e 6 hours 60 % and 8 to 10 hours 100 % and then when I put battery in my mobile & use battery, It is draining very fastly i.e 100 % just finished in 2 hours. :crying:
What should I do? Can you please tell what is the problem & how can I fix it (or from my nearest repair shop).
Thank you in advance!
Try change the cabel and charger.
If its still not work go ahead for a new battery and usb port flex. Make sure the rev. you buy is same as in your phone

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, I have already bought a new battery.
Sorry for the noob question, what are you saying "rev" ? and usb port flex?
So, u bought a new Battery, but the device and even the external charger are both charging slow? U should now try to use another Cabel and Adapter (Even if they seems to work).
Also a new battery(Production 2015-2016) shoudn't drain in 2hours, it might a Software issue there too.
For the USB Port flex, just google it and u see what is mean. There are also different revisions, that one you buy must match your phone

battery drain also there.

Check in setting > battery it will give you a diagram of the battery percentage and what is using the most power. Also check the mah for the battery you bought the lower the number the short the duration for the battery eg 1650mah is what the original battery was

Wow wtf.. sorry but u didn't even bought a Original battery and ask for help?! Please.
All 3rd Party battery's who claim they have more mAh than the Original Samsung one while having the same size are pure fake! There is simply no way to fill more mAh in same space.
It *is* possible to get a Samsung original 2000mAh battery.....but it's physically bigger than the one that came with the phone....it'll also come with an extended back cover to accommodate this.
To the OP.....If you got the battery off eBay and it's covered in a gold coloured label......bin it now because it's utter rubbish.....even if the listing stated 'Samsung original' and it looks like a Samsung battery......I can guarantee you that it ain't.......
Unless you brought it directly from Samsung, then it's probably come from Shenzhen in China (or somewhere like that).
That being the case, there's *no way* that the battery is rated at 2000mAh....it's likely to be closer to 1300 or 1400mAh....
Finally...If you do replace the USB board, the advice given about matching the REV version is accurate and critical....Here's a link to a guide I wrote on that exact subject.......

u only need heat gun and some thin object like cards to open it.. then use double sided tape when reinstalling it again if the adhessive is not reuseable.
If the battery it's not bigger in size is not bigger in capacity. Beware, inform yourself. : )

i think it has the same size but different capacity.. just like the one in op3 and op3t exactly identical battery but differ in respective capacity.. i just want to know if someone here try this.. thanks for your concern mate.
a battery cannot be the same sixe and have a differenct capacity ... at lease to my knolage. Also installing a bigger bettery might not be the bestest thing to do .... you know ... with the note 7 and all that ..... (explosions)
I think the point here is that we have a lithium-polymer battery while the one shown here is a lithium-ion battery. So it IS possible to have a higher capacity at same size as ion batteries have higher power density than polymer batteries.

No that's not gonna happen. Battery stops charging when it indicates being full, not when it indicates being charged with 3500 mAh which in fact is a rough number. But these third party batteries are risky nonetheless. It might give you better usage time but maybe they won't live longer than some months, but maybe they will. Moreover if you overcharge or misuse the battery then these non OEM batteries, not having as good quality standards as the OEM ones, might be damaged or in worst case scenarios, explode.
So it's not like it's a complete lie, it's more like a gamble.
