I trying to control my galaxy s phone with bluetooth option of my car music system. I noticed it does'nt work properly with the official android rom (unable to get a call, intermittent acces to history call or to contact list. Some people did the same issue as me and solve it by using Cyano mod 7. I would like to know if it's possible to modify the configuration of my official rom with the bluetooth element included in Cyano Gen 7 ?

Hi I have just installed a Car Reverse camera system with LED Monitor and Bluetooth . The Hands free function works properly when there is an incoming call . But when i make an outgoing call it shows "Bluetooth Calling Out" But no sound can be heard . I can disconnect the call using the button on the Monitor . In the phone,It shows that the headset is active . I am using a convex LED monitor which can be clipped to the rear view mirror. I don't think the system have any problem a it is working perfectly with Nokia phones.
So can i do anything in my phone to make it work ??? Please help

I am using the original stock ROM. its rooted and updated to the latest official firmware release.
Model No :- GT-5830i
Android Version :- 2.3.6
Baseband Version :- S5830iDDLC1
Kernel Version :- 2.6.35.7 [email protected]#1
Build Number :- GINGERBREAD.XXLD1
Actually Galaxy S4 SGH-I337 (AT&T) don't need root, the phone records calls perfectly in two directions.
You need this app Boldbeast Call Recorder, it supports all following Android versions:
Android 4.2.2
Android 4.3
Android 4.4.2
Android 4.4.4
Android 5.0.1
In the app please use following settings to record calls:
- Record Mode: 4
- Record Format: AMR
- Tune Samsung 1: Yes
- Tune Samsung 2: Yes
- Tune Samsung 3: Enable Group 1
- Tune Special: Yes
If your phone is running Android 4.4.4, please change the Tune Samsung 3 option above to "Enable Group 2".
Now your SGH-I337 records calls loudly and clearly without root.
My phone run on prerooted marshmallow firmware 6.0.1 build 23.5.A.0.575.
But it doesn't allow call recording like lollipop
What to do to make it alow call recording
Also i been using call vibrator to know if my call been answerd by vibration. Were working fine on lollipop but now on marshmallow is not working anymore

* Many of us using JIO cellular network (india) .
* But many users don't know we Karate users can make ViLte calls by Default phone app.We can do video calls over data.In simple words we dont need Data turn on while making Video call.
* Now Problem is when we make video calls, the screen appears in half.So we cant enjoy full screen video callling.
* Solution :
Download "Google phone (dialer) app patched" from link
Install it like normal apk.
Now from settings Give All permissions ,Allow also to modify system and Also set it is as Default "phone app"
* Done .

& If You want fully stable unmodified apk from google

Lagging in calling interface... Call doesn't hang-up immediately ... And after hang-up stock caling UI appears... Its annoying...
And apk from apk mirror not installed it say the app cannot be installed

Yes it lag nd hang up for sec nd default calling ui comes up.Try older versions of from apkmirror site (4.0.xx something)
But neglecting those bugs we can do video calls without Data usage nd in full screen.

To be True i don't know cuz im on stock still nd hadn't flashed any custom rom yet.
*** Check "contact app" or in dialer if video call icon is present or not Bro.if it is present then you can do video calls if rom is supporting "ViLte" .
Its software thing so Dev needed to implement ViLte feature in rom to make it work.
Btw Dr.Bathman has provided flashable stock google dial nd contact app in thread u can flash them via twrp nd check it.

There are some bugs are here and video call was dark contrast.hello sir if you programer please modify Miui 9 default Dailer apk for other Android phones
.it's better than Google Dailer.

You already have a Duo like Interface in the latest installations of LineageOS and Resurrection ROM.
I'm already using the same on my karate on Jio-to-Jio calls, and facing no issue as mentioned anywhere.
