I got the xv6700 with DCD rom 3.1.2 and radio started from the low 3's now 3.39.10 and the damn bluetooth will turn itself off at random times from 30 mins to hrs later when paired to my Dock-N-Talk. Sometimes the comm manager will show it is on but when I go into bluetooth settings it is really off. Is this a firmware bug, bluetooth bug or HTC screw up? I also sometimes had this same issues with my old XV6700 and glad to see that HTC still makes buggy ****. Any answers?? Thanks for the input.
Does it happen if you have it paired with other BT devices? Or do you only use it with a single BT device?
Blues Radio
I am not sure as have not tested it with other devices. That will be my next step in the diagnosis tree.
Power Down??
Ok all you smart pepole out there, here is the issue. My bluetooth on the xv6800 randomly shuts itself off. Now does the xv6800 have a sleep setting or the ability to turn off the bluetooth by itself or is my bluetooth module a dud??
I have a Galaxy Nexus, Android 4.3.
I've posted in this forum because it seems Android has bluetooth issues on many devices.
I switch bluetooth on, turn on my car, then the phone connects via bluetooth to the car's speakerphone device.
I turn off the car, the phone sees the bluetooth speakerphone losing connection all of a sudden, then if I switch bluetooth off the phone tries to switch it really off but after a fews seconds bluetooth turns on automatically.
I can't reboot the phone everytime I have to switch bluetooth off.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
PS: I really don't understand what's Goolge's problem with bluetooth. Really, they can't make it work right. It worked perfectly on 4.1.x, they've broken it with 4.2 and never fixed it 100%.

Were you ever able to get this resolved? I am having issues with this myself and I am really hoping there is a better work around to rebooting my phone.

no problem with my nexus 4 4.3
Just picked up my C5 Ultra, was happy until I tried to use its bluetooth with my car's built-in system (Mazda).
I have two problems:
- continuous stuttering to the point it's not usable, usually starts 1-2 minutes after starting to play music
- when trying to make a call, the phone doesn't route the call to the car, it shows it sending audio to bluetooth device, but no sound comes it also doesn't respond to the call end button in my car
Anybody else with bluetooth problems? Strange thing is it's only my car, it seems to work fine with my bluetooth headset. And there were no issues with my car with my old phones.
same problem here
Thank God someone posted this. I also have a bluetooth headset and from time to time, there's some stuttering then the music stops playing. To fix this, I have to turn off my bluetooth in my phone and restart my bluetooth headset and pair the two again.
I thought this issue is only limited to audio devices. I bought an LG watch urbane and from time to time, the watch gets disconnected. When I try to pair it again, it won't connect even if I try several times. It will only connect if I restart my watch and try to pair it again.
I also have a Moto 360, and there's a lot more random disconnects with this phone than any other phone I've used before. However, it does normally reconnect very quickly. But I did have to disable the vibrate on connect/disconnect because it got to be annoying.
I've given up on my car's bluetooth and using another bluetooth receiver and aux-in to my car's stereo. It seems that the older the bluetooth device, the more likely to have issues. Bluetooth 3.0/4.0 headsets seem to work fine.

by the way, I have tried my watch urbane connecting to my huawei 4x and it doesn't get disconnected randomly. If it gets disconnected because I left my phone from another room, it will quickly get connected again when I'm near unlike the C5 Ultra that needs my watch to be restarted to be able to connect again.
Check In settings -> xperia connectivity -> throw settings -> Auto-select wirelles option if it is close. if not, close and try. Maybe this help
Not working with my Huawei Watch, it gets paired but inmediatly disconnects asking "add as trusted device?" and after that it's imposible to reconnect. Any help will be will be welcomed.
This phone honestly sucks in many ways. I love the hardware but the software and the cpu is the problem on this phone. Bluetooth sucks, slow processor and ...yea..slow loading on everything. I know it's the phone's bluetooth that disconnects my bluetooth earphones and car audio because it never happened on my Nexus 6. We'll just have to wait till Sony releases Marshmallow on our phones.
Bluetooth cuts in and out when paired
Updated to marshmallow and my Bluetooth still cuts in and out when paired to my boss mini speaker .Sony really has to fix this if they want to remain in the competitive cellphone market. If any suggestions on how to solve this issue please help.
After the update I am also having problems with Bluetootn. In sleep mode Bluetootn off. Accordingly, all the time the connection is lost with the Sony SmartWatch 3 hours. Tired of this problem

Yup, bluetooth shutting off is causing all sorts of problems with my Pebble smartwatches too. Basically made them completely useless because of the disconnects soon after the phone is idle.
I'm pretty sure it's tied to the Doze function in Marshmallow, but even when I disable Doze for the Pebble watch app and bluetooth share app, I still have issues. I even got an app called "Disable Doze" to completely turn off Doze functionality. It seems to help, but I still have occasional drops.
Bluetooth seriously sucks on this phone...
Found a solution
I found out what causing that bluetooth disconnects on my Xperia C5 Ultra Dual. It's when wifi and bluetooth are turned on at the same time. I turned off wifi and bluetooth connection is now stable.
My pebble also was disconnecting and it was annoying with all the vibration and it wasn't event reconnecting. But after I turned off the wifi bug is gone. I read that this is a common bug with Xperia Sad...

I'll have to give that a try, I stopped using my C5 because I couldn't stand the bluetooth issues anymore. I'm using, of all things, my 4 year old Nexus 4 now (which I should say works perfectly...)
bluetooth of sonyc5ultra is worst working in connectivity . useless , disconnecting from blue tooth device by its own. Getting irritating by bluetooth issue.
Same Problem here also
I have BLUEDIO bluetooth headphone, it disconnect after restarting bluetooth in my sony c5. When I try to pair it again, it won't connect even if I try it again and again the whole day. It only connect if I restart sony c5 and try to pair it again.
I have the oneplus one, rooted and with a custom rom (android 7.1.2), and i have a new car. Something very strange is happening. Sometimes the phone does not connect with the car, via bluetooth, sometimes connects but when i turn android auto on it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting the bluetooth. The strangest thing i notice is, if i turn off the device and restart again, the bluetooth connection and android auto work fine and with no problem, 1 ou 2 hours later, when i come back to the car, it happens again, the bluetooth connection drops and the only way to reconnect is by completely turning off the device. The car is new, has 2000 km, is a skoda and the brand says that nothing is wrong with the car. What should i do?
P.S. English is not my native language, sorry...
