Hello guys,
I'm glad that we finally get lollipop for our device Lenovo A6000/Plus.
Some people want to get superuser privilege, but still confuse how to install/flash it.
Here's how to get root:
What is needed:
Your Lenovo A6000/Plus (Lollipop)
PC (windows)
Download this tools (contains adb, fastboot, supersu, custom recovery)
How to root:
Enter to fastboot
Turn off your phone
Hold on the volume - key and hold on the power button
Wait until lenovo logo appears with small text "Powerkey long press can reboot phone" at the bottom of the screen
Connect your phone to your PC
Extract the tools
Open command.bat
Type "fastboot boot recovery.img" (without quotes). Wait until you land on TWRP recovery
Choose Advanced -> ADB Sideload -> swipe to start sideload
Type "adb sideload SuperSU.zip" (without quotes)
Reboot
Thanks to:
Google (ADB and Fastboot)
chainfire (SuperSU)
duniamodandroid.blogspot.com (TWRP, I don't know who created it)
NB: It can be applied to both firmware version (S052 and S028)
Thanks. Great guide. My phone is now rooted finally.
is it safe???

Yes it's safe with superuser. Don't root via kingroot it as it fails to unroot the phone.
Thanks buddy but the adb sideload command didnt work. So I placed superSU.zip it in the internal sdcard and then clicked on the install button. Thanks a lot. :good:

I think no, Cuz twrp that we install are temporary. But if we can find or even make the permanent twrp for our device maybe that's should possible. Correct me if I'm wrong

Permanent TWRP is possible. We have to use a different command in fastboot
In the fastboot, run the command
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
where recovery.img is the TWRP image

It can be vary, please try it by yourself.
for safety, backup first. flash and boot to custom recovery (twrp from javteam), do backup. after that, just flash supersu zip.
if something wrong (ex, bootloop), you can restore you rom.
NB: As I remember, I've tried firmware S30 and I can root successfully. I forgot it coz I just flash it and I was not satisfied then go back to kitkat.

If you're afraid you can flash this TWRP temporary. It won't change your recovery partition.
If something not right, just restart your device.

ssdd as dj above, boost mobile xt1526 lte/4g xt1526, doesn't work with the xt1524 version, nor does the stock recovery.img from the xt1524 posted in the firmware pages work. All 3 version of twrp i've tried (condor, surnia, and current standard vversion) fail and being a dumbass I didn't think to back up before ****ing with it... didn't realize it was *quite* this new a phone.

I can confirm that the twrp recovery works for the cmda boost mobile variant. Flashed super user now I'm rooted and ready to help kick start development. I've tried a lot of commands to dump system and boot but all I get is permission denied

U have to boot recovery do not flash it
How do I extract boot.IMG . I've tried a couple of methods but no luck
TWRP works, but not SuperSU
I have the US Moto E 4G/LTE (XT1527).
I've installed this TWRP recovery image successfully, and am trying to use it to install SuperSU. After installing SuperSU 2.23 (Beta), I can't seem to boot SuperSU. If I reboot into recovery, it goes right back to TWRP. Am I missing something?
verified: sideload works
FYI - i was able to sideload SuperSU successfully using this recovery. So that works.

If you have a Verizon model, it cannot be unlocked.
Hi..I have a Moto E XT1526 surnia with an unlocked boot loader.. Unfortunately I have no way of getting access to a PC, so my question is can I flash the recover in anyway without a computer? I doubt this is possible at the moment? Have done some searching with no luck but desperately need this phone rooted, thanks.
Confirming that backup works using TWRP. SuperSU also works.
This if for XT1526 Boost Mobile.
Now for some custom Roms.
If a Dev need anything extracted let me know.

Not possible yet unfortunately. Soon enough this phone will have much support like the moto g has.
Until then flashing with adb command via PC is the only route.
Just to say thanks ^^ everything works well in xt1527 model, though I tried restoring a backup of my stock ROM and it didn't worked. It got stuck loading after bootanimation. Any ideas?
Soft-bricked
Is this recovery supports 16GB Moto E 2015(XT1523)?
I flashed the recovery, but I can`t boot into recovery.
I booted into recovery with ./fastboot boot recovery.img. Then I flashed the Squid kernel and SuperSU. Then I rebooted to system and not out of the Motorola logo. I only can acess to fastboot. :crying:

If nothing else works, flash back the stock ROM for your model using fastboot:

Flashed using adb. Place the recovery.img in adb folder with fastboot. Open cmd at that location (shift+right click, open cmd prompt...)
Type the following in command prompt: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Make sure twrp file is named "recovery.img"
Hey guys,
I'm having a bit of a hard time flashing CM again, everytime I try to flash any ROM TWRP just leaves me with an error 7 (something along the lines of "This file is for e1003, your device is ONE).
I know I can just delete the updater script but can someone give me a permanent solution to this?
(I'm running the official TWRP 3.something, oxygen os and bluespark's kernel)
(Also I was able to flash CM in the past but it is not working now)
(Just one more thing - feel free to leave an explanation on why this happen, I'm a curious and geeky guy

I always use flashify. I don't even need a PC to switch ROMs anymore haha since the OPX is officially supported by TWRP you can't really do it wrong anymore. download TWRP in flashify and flash. doesn't get easier than that.
Which version supports different "code names" (ONE, E1003, Onyx and Oneplus). ?

Should i wipe all data and redo?
Seriously, whith this new error message, I think something is messed up.
Just to be sure, you unlock the phone with the full procedure. i.e. unlock bootloader, flash custom recovery.... Right?
If so, I think, you should erase all. Install the full OOS 2.2.1-X zip .
http://downloads.oneplus.net/oneplus-x/oneplus_x_oxygenos_2.2.1-x/
And then rewipe and install CM.
If it doesn't work , you will have to format more deeply (just format Cache data & system, not internal data.)

Anyone tried this on LG G6?
This can relock G6 bootloader like for warranty purpose?
Which functions are available/unavailable for G6
The only functions that are not available are flash stock recovery and flash factory image. The others are all available. Locking the bootloader you can brick your phone, the tool will send just a fastboot command. I've tested the bootloader unlocking procedure for lg g6 and twrp flash. There are a lot of others function that i've not tested but they should work (Apk Installer, reboot commands, zip flasher, ....)

You always need the LG Developer site. This tool is done to simplify processes not to bypass them. With this tool you will never use the terminal anymore.

The command is there but you can brick your phone. I think you need of a QFIL stock rom to relock bootloader. But i think Lg has a database with all device unlocked...
Awsome tool!
It would be cool if we could lock the bootloader without fear of the dreaded brick

Yes sure, when there will be a safe guide, it will also be safe to lock the bootloader
Will give this a try once someone has tried it some more.
Just tried to unlock my g6. It works. Then I tried to flash recovery, but, maybe I'd have had to reboot phone prior to flash recovery, infact after reboot the recovery installed was the stock one. So I flashed it via fastboot command manually...
Anyway, simple and working. Gread job!

Thanks for feedback, can you please tell me what recovery you have installed through fastboot?? Maybe the recovery in the tool ai wrong or have problems.
Have tried the H870 one, TWRP 3.1.1, the one that the software automatically download from server. The final message saied it was installed correctly, but after reboot, normal recovery was presented (the one that reset phone to factory reset, and infact it has resetted the phone)

Maybe the problem was not your software... Now that I am in twrp I have transferred a rom in the internal storage, I have installed it, but phone is in bootloop. And now, entering in twrp it says the storage is encrypted and asks me for the password.... now, what to do??? Damn...

@mauronofrio Ok, I solved and reinstalled from scratch everything. What went wrong, I think, is that after TWRP installation I haven't installed Magisk immediately.
Using a tool like your can induce people to just push a button and not follow every step of a good unlocking procedure. Anyway, it was my fault. Your tool works perfectly

Cool, finally dev roms are coming out! Will test in the weekend if I have time
So I'm currently on the latest "stable". I know that the "weekly" is supposed to have lil bugs and probably newer features etc. But the version numbers between the two are confusing me. Are the weekly builds in fact more up to date despite being an older version?
Yes, the weekly builds use the release date as a version number, so 9.7.18 = 2019, July 18th
ahhh, thanks god
Can we dirty flash over stable eu rom ?
Never tried on this particular phone, but personally I would do a clean flash, just to be safe
Hey,
Thanks for the links.
Doesn't Xiaomi stop releasing dev ROM updates? (correct me if wrong plz)
Do you know if this line of dev ROMs will be updated weekly?
Thanks.
Anyone tested it? Someone on telegram wrote that he bricked the phone and can't fix it after installation of xiaomi.eu beta.
Edit.
It's working. Dirty flash (without any format) from newest xiaomi.eu stable version.

I flashed over latest xiaomi.eu stable but I have a problem booting into TWRP. Do you have the same problem? Can you check if you can boot into TWRP? Even flashing again TWRP in fastboot mode doesn't work correctly.
i flashed this developer rom, over stable, but i did clean install.
some changes in settings, i like this new style it is as i have a new phone.

It won't work. I tried everything. If you get stuck into a bootloop after trying to flash TWRP, you have to type the command "fastboot continue" in the terminal (while being in fastboot, obviously) to get out of the bootloop. Anyway, I'm resetting through mi flash tool to the global and then reflash twrp -> miui.eu stable (this time, weekly is bad currently) -> magisk.

I have the Mi 9t and can't boot into twrp (even after reflashing it with fastboot) or boot into the rom... to boot into the rom i have to do fastboot cmd..

Then you have a problem with the rom, hence the rom is broken. A functional rom should be compatible with TWRP. I doubt this dev rom has been tested properly.

Thanks a lot, is this useful in case I brick my phone? "Soft brick" in case I installed wrong rom or bootloader?
I just got my K20 pro "Chiense" 256/8 I'm planning to try few roms, as the original one filled with bloatware and even after removing everything I don't trust the inside system codes not to have any ad push services or some data tracking service.
HELP plz!!
I flashed TWRP using this. then went to TWRP and in the program I choose (root only) and flashed magisk with the program. I rebooted my phone but it reboots to TWRP and not normal. I turned it off and back on ,but it still boots to TWRP.
help please. what to do? How do I restore it to normal (preferably without losing my data) ?
I can access fastboot and can access it with my computer.

What did you do to solve it? Ran into the same issue with boot looping back into twrp, haven't had a chance to try again or do some research into the exact cause.
