ok so what if it is activated on a phone, how to totally deactivate it on f or example Z2?
Will rooting and flashing another ROM work to totally deactivate it? Sony ROM can then be flashed later back onto the device to eventually get rid of the demo mode. Will this logic work?

Yes the logic might work and if you have root u can remove the retail demo app and demo contents in your memory.

I hope there is a way to solve the problem. is there a way that my pc recognize my device
my case is that my phone can t boot ,i made something wrong with my bootloader
and now it does not turn on at all.not even a l single light flashes(fastboot and flash mode).
only thing that gives me little hope is that it can be recognized by my PC(as sony ericsson seehcri control device) if i connect it via usb.i suppose that i have problem with my GDFS and TA files of my device(they got erased someway).but i just suppose.
can any one guide me what to do ,to make my phone work again?

That means he's messed up his bootloader by test point
I'll try to search in this forum or Google to post here the solutions

I need a back up & restore apk for xperia sola because I installed a rom last year and for got to back it up

If you haven't backed it up there is nothing to restore.
What exactly are you looking for? Just type bacup restore on Play Store.

No need to go that far. It's in the ROM FTF and it's easy to extract anything you need from it.

I'm creating this thread as an alternative to *New Threads* that aim to resolve a question.
Not only this, this thread can also become a Database kind of place where people can look if their question is already solved or not...
I request all members of the XPERIA M4 sub-forum to help and answer some questions posted here if they can.
I hope you guys get the idea behind this thread...

Wifi problem
I've just bought this phone and the wifi signal is not strong enought.
With other phones the wifi signal is strong but this phone doesnt get the wifi network.

I have tried out MyXperia (a security program of Sony) and then, i restar my phone, it asked me to authorize by log in Google account which i had set up MyXperia before. When i tried to log in, it said "Incorrect username and/or password". Everytime i restart, i can live for 15 second and then, it locked me out. I did factory reset but it still there althought my device wiped all my data. So now, i have been locked out of my M4 and have 15 second to stay alive everytime i restart
Please anyone help me with this I bring it to Sony Center for guarantee service but they said they can didnot have anything for M4 at this time to fix this.
Please help me, i need my phone for keep in touch with people!

Have you tried logging into MyXperia from a PC , changing your password, and then logging in using the phone with the new, correct credentials?

it required to log in Google account, not the password. In MyXperia from PC i can log in, but not in my phone.

Maybe try Flashtool and re-install the firmware. That may help to wipe the protected partition?

I have the E2312 M3 Aqua Dual 8Gb it's so sad that they dont have that firmware right now
I have done a factory reset on my phone and have also updated the OS from 4.1 to 4.3. however, someone is still able to remotely see who is calling my phone. Is this something someone can do without having any software on my phone?

An app name mspy might be installed on your device. If you have rooted your device and have a custom recovery then wipe your device with it and install custom/stock rom or go to the Sony centre and tell them that you need a deep clean hard reset they will do it. If you are ready for custom roms then you may find them in xda.
