I created a flashable zip that allows me to get connected to netflix (finally !!!!), it's working on my n5110 with the latest CM12.1 (20150911). The problem is that even when I can login into Netflix now, the Android App just wont work in CM12.X, this seems to be entirely a Netflix problem; But using this flashable zip with the workaround proposed at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2101525 I can watch netflix with no problems. It can be that this patch could work on any other CM12.1 ROM but I can't guarantee it.

This patch by itself doesn't fix the Netflix issue, you need to apply the Xposed workaround too. Are you able to open the Netflix App and get logged in?

OMG I was so happy finding this, but...
I manage Installing the Xposed installer app for 5.1.1 , but I'm failing to install your .zip with Cyanogen Recovery. Here is the message:
"Verifying update package ...
E: footer is wrong
E: signature verification failed Installation aborted."
Any idea ? :/ I'am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with Cyanogen 12.1 last release and I can't live without netflix :/

Same issue here!
Unfortunately, Cyanogen Recovery has no optiion for disabling md5 verification

script file that dictates what your recovery does when zip is applied.
i.e. delete old versions of files if they exist, write new versions, change permissions.

Here extract update-binary with winrar and replace... I didnt test it... it will just allow install zip file with touchwiz without clockwork...
but file with touchwiz 4 is for 240dpi and SGA has 160dpi... So I am not sure if it will work properly...

I made a custom Rom in the android kitchen. Everything went through well, no problems at all. then when I try to install to my phone, it wont install and I get these errors:
One error I got while installing was: Installation Abored: Status 6.
Now I get this error white installing: E:Cant open /sdcard/primou_signed_031613_094637.zip (bad) Installation aborted.
Whats going on because I havent changed/converted any update scripts just added an apk then zip aligned it. The original roms install ok, but my own dont install when everything is set the same.
please help me. THANKS

These are the errors cause by updater script nd update binary.!
Status 6 error in cwm is because u didn't edit ur updated script correctly

To add apk's to a rom, you can add them but do not unzip the rom, just add them to the archive, let me know how it goes
I think status 6 is when you corrupt the updater-script. What did you use to update the script? I use EditPad lite.

Then it must be incompatible try for a flashable zip file
adobe flash player needs some lib files...
so you can't install the app directly..
you need to flash the zip file for flash player..
you can get the zip file from rafael baugis's skydrive..or just visit his kernel's thread (rafael baugis kernel)...u will find it there..!!

sorry i dint checked it was fine when i got it but i save it on my pc... so here it is...
did you understand the procedure place the zip file in your sd but don place it inside any folder just next to android dcim ect.. then use recocery to installand voila

thats the one i had before .. an this one i got it form a you tube video... i tought that the one on mindcr 2.9 was not workig but you must place the file outside not in a carpet.. then use cwr not recovery mode..

Cheers for the files guys. Flashed through CWR and flash player installed*... unfortunately the app I'm using it for still doesn't recognize it as a viable source so may just have to give up.

Its kinda useless. The flash player doesnt help that much except for exceptional cases.
Afterall, we already have youtube app for youtube videos and not to mention video player(like mx player, stock etc) that can stream them easily.
Also most browser are doing well at decoding or running flash item in webpages.
Why do we need flash player anyway?? I dont get it.

I had a 64GB Chinese Version OPO, After flash this recovery, i connect my phone to my computer, choose mount usb mass storage, and my computer didn't show me UMS was connected
Maybe i can't mount it on windows 7, cuz internal storge's file system is ext4?

Ok, now I understand. So in this way I can tell you that you have driver problem. I see phone without problem in windows soyou have bad driver on your PC.

You have modified some files so no ota. In your log build.prop isn't original
You're right, changing DPI modify the build.prop file so the checksum doesn't match.

Ok figured out the problem, it seems there's a bug that when booting directly from phone turned off to recovery with vol down + power button the recovery isn't able to mount sdcard. Rebooting from the phone and it's ok.
Is there a way to have the Aroma File Manager? I tried downloading latest zip v. 1.9.1 but it gives an error while installing it.

Did you try just by rebooting into recovery from the phone? Hold power button ---> reboot ----> recovery. That's all. The bug seems to show with the phone turned off and botting directly into recovery. I had the same issue with the TWRP 2.7.1

Yes, i tried reboot into recovery from the phone , the bug still happen, my phone boot in to recovery very slow, it stuck at a black screen with virtual key.
But sometimes i don't have this problem.

5) (es file explorer users only) you may experience app crashes. Don't worry about them and reboot to twrp
6) flash c-apps package
7) (aroma file manager users only) mount system read-write in twrp options and disable the mount system read-only checkbox, then flash aroma file manager again and rename /system/app/incalluix -> /system/app/incallui (remove the x) and do the same to /system/priv-app/dialerx -> /system/priv-app/dialer (remove the x, do not change the case of the letters ! )
8) (aroma file manager users only) exit it and reboot to system
9) (es file explorer users only) follow step 7 after booting into android
10) (es file explorer users only) reboot your phone
11) now, disable these apps after booting into android (they do not work)

Truedialer works (partially, incallui doesn't work, dualsim works) but I prefer stock that is why I disabled it
Only use 1 dialer app or they may conflict !

Audiofx is not working but maxxaudio tuner and audiofx are the same thing

1. I couldn't find "disable only mount system read-only" in TWRP. Anyway, I flashed Aroma File Manager,
2. renamed said files, exited Aroma,
3. flashed C-Apps package,
4. again flashed Aroma, went inside /system to rename files, they were replaced by DailerNext and InCallUiNext, exited Aroma,
5. rebooted to system.
6. Found that stock apps have been replaced(Nevermind, I'm not fan of them anyway).
I followed TWRP procedure.

If you followed the procedure correctly, that wouldn't have happened
Anyways, I'll upload the 2 stock apps the got replaced and a file that contains permissions that need to be applied to them

The option is there, just checked....in the bottom left of the mount section

Get audiofx apk from teamsek or any cyanogen build of 5.1.1 install manually thats working
i m using write now with audio tunner
install the apk i have uploaded manually working fine along with audiotunner

And, maxxaudio tuner and audiofx are the exact same thing....no difference...both are from maxxaudio....same dev

bro thats audiofx.apk.....not audio tunner i have both audiotunner & audiofx.apk look 2nd screenshot i used them combinely too during headphones....gives awesome bass combination
