I'm having the same issue on a GS7 Edge. I can see a thumbnail of the album art, but there are no buttons.
Same problem. Completely blank but the buttons still work (if you remember where they are). It is just completely blank.
For some reason the text is white against the white background. Found out that if you press and hold for a short period of time you can see the white text. Not sure how to fix it since all the notifications have a white background.
Are any of you using Samsung's Good Lock? I was having this problem as well, then on a whim I uninstalled Good Lock and voila, problem solved. I've been back and forth on Good Lock anyways, as it seemed to adversely effect my battery life the first time I installed it. I'll try it again after a few more updates but this seems to be the cause of the problem.
I had the same issue. To fix it, go to the Good Lock advanced settings and enable the bottom 2 options.

now pretend Kenny Powers has a SGSIII in his left hand...
i'm pretty sure i saw video of people swiping the screen with their entire palm from right to left.
You swipe all the way from left or right to the other side of the screen with the side of your hand. It's enabled by default in "Motion" options.
Not working?
My motion actions are not working? When I first opened the phone the swipe to get a screenshot feature worked. Now it does not. i checked the setttings and it is enabled, so I'm confused. Also, when I cover the screen while playing music it doesnt pause the music like its supposed to? Do I have a lemon? Ive tried rebooting to no avail.
Please help!!
So my 1 year old out of warranty Nokia Lumia 1320 started to lag, so I started the Hard Reset, all things done successfully and then bang, lag started again. So I shut it down, now whenever I start the phone, the screen is filled with tiny dots "pixelated display". This is what happens:-
1.) OS is working fine, I can feel the vibration from capacitive keys and can power off the phone (nothing appears on screen, it's just muscle memory).
2.) When the phone is switched ON, this pixelated screen appears. When I press the lock key, the screen locks (with no glance screen), now if I try to unlock the phone, nothing shows up, no pixelated screen, nothing.

Hi,
as per thread's title, I can't see any difference when switching this setting on. Is it just me?
Thanks for any info.

I does work for me.
If the Display is turned off and you receive a message or whatsapp or email and so on, the display activates and is showing the lockscreen.
If this option is turned off and a msg comes in there is no reaction at all, so the display remains dark. (Other than the sound / vibrate / light etc.)
Well, in this case I can confirm it doesn't work for me.
(Mmmh... now it's more than one thing that's not working...)
Any suggestion? The feature looks quite nice.
OK, it works when setting one lock method at least, I.e. swipe to unlock. I had nothing set before.
Not sure it makes sense, but at least it works.
Whenever my phone boots up, I am locked out by this black screen. I am able to see my homescreen for a split second at boot and then this appears. As you can see, the home button and the button all the way to the right are shaded out. The back button is the only one that isn't, but pressing it has no effect. I have the LG V10 and the 2nd screen works fine. I can press the buttons to open apps from the 2nd screen, but nothing happens. This screen just completely locks me out. The last time I rebooted, I was able to fix this by wiping the cache from the recovery. However, this time when I tried it, it didn't work. I'm forced to run my phone in safemode right now. What should I do to fix this?
Thank you

The quick settings bar changed last night on my phone. The first 4 options that show up are now half size and in a line., and return to full size when you pull down the notification bar a second time. Is this a setting I inadvertantly changed or did Google do something?

Just as odd, I just rebooted the phone and the quick settings area went back to it's original format, 2 rows of 2 full sized buttons. WTF?
Just to let you know that I had the same thing on my phone but it's gone now...
The same here...
Odd, after a week of normal quick setting bars, it changed to half width again just like in the top picture. I'd sure like to know what is triggering it.
