Gmail Label Notifier Alternative? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Gmail Label Notifier alternative?
I have a need for an app that allows unique notification sounds and persistent (i.e. repeats notifications every x minutes until dismissed) notifications based upon the Gmail Label applied to an incoming message. The app Gmail Label Notifier by hubris did this spectacularly well, however I find now it has been removed from the market and no longer functions due to permission changes made to Android. Does anyone know of an application that will provide the same abilities?

[Q] Pansi Plugin problem?

I installed the Individual Settings plugin for Pansi SMS app on my GS2, however it does not change the notification sound for selected contacts. The notification icon and privacy notification settings work fine, just not the sound (instead it plays the app's default notification tone). What to do?
(If It helps, I noticed that pansi was having trouble with multiple sms apps on my phone and started receiving double texts, i have uninstalled all other apps since then, that fixed the double text problem.)

How can I configure notifications for individual labels in Gmail app (4.0.5) ?

EDIT: Found it out, first I have to enable sync settings for individual labels. Then those settings becomes active. Sorry for creating the thread without investigating further.
I'm wondering if it is possible to configure notification settings for custom labels. Currently I can only configure Inbox and Priority Inbox individually (i.e : Turn notifications on/off, set custom ring tone etc.), for all other custom labels those settings are grayed out (disabled). Is there any way to enable these settings?
I know there is a 3rd party notifications app in the market for this, but I don’t want to use any 3rd party apps and give them access to my primary gmail account.
Phone : Samsung Galaxy S
OS : ICS 4.0.3
Gmail app : 4.0.5

hide gmail subject & email from notification pulldown

Hi I have a Galaxy Nexus on CM10 jellybro.
When I receive an email with gmail app it shows the email subject and (at least part of) the message body text in the notification pulldown.
Is there a way to hide this? Without disabling the notificatins entirely. Would be nice if it would just say "1 new email" or whatever.
Thank you =)

An SMS interceptor

Is there an app (for Android 5.x+) which can automatically delete messages from certain senders, and also make sure no notification is thrown?
- App must not maintain a separate inbox, or present itself as an alternate app to the native messaging app, taking over messaging entirely.
- App should just sit in the background and delete any message from a list of blocked senders (in effect, the new message activity / notification becomes unavailable to subscribing apps)
- App should be able to prevent or kill any notification (lockscreen, status bar, unread counts)
- No backups, no logs, just silent operation (good for plausible deniability)
- Paid app is ok.
Basically, I want to configure this app once with a list of blacklisted senders and never see any message activity from these senders again, while continuing to use the native messaging app, irrespective of potential risk (like losing out on critically important messages etc.) Device is rooted.
