Sound control: App to HDMI, phone call to bluetooth. It is possible? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I have a question to the following scenario:
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 which is connected via MHL / HDMI to my TV. I use the SkyGo-App on my Galaxy to watch soccer on my TV.
But sometimes I want/have to watch and take/get a call simultaneously. Problem is, as soon as I plug in my bluetooth-headset, the output for all sound is the headset.
Is there any possibility or an app to control the output between HDMI and bluetooth in general?
Thank you very much!
Greetings ENFI

[Q] HDMI video out but with Bluetooth audio?

Hi all,
Does anyone know how to route the audio to a Bluetooth device when the HDMI cable/connector is plugged in, as opposed to the audio going to whatever is plugged in at the end of the HDMI cable.
TIA

Just got my HDMI connector and I want to play the video through it, but the audio through my Bluetooth speakers. It does not seem to allow me to do this. Even though I connect the Bluetooth speakers, all audio comes through the tinny speakers on my monitor.
Has anyone managed to get Bluetooth audio working when connected with the HDMI adaptor?
In the app, SoundAbout, I can use HDMI video with audio output to the Phone speaker and headphones. The only problem is when connecting HDMI, the phone seems to disable the Bluetooth adapter.
I am guessing this is done so that the audio will go through HDMI. They don't ever expect you to use HDMI video with Bluetooth A2DP audio.
I am also trying to do the same. The only solution that I came up with was to route the TV's audio output to a Bluetooth transmitter which will send the audio to the Bluetooth speakers. I haven't yet tried that solution to comment on the audio quality or its sync with the movie.
you can check out the transmitter at amazon, search: "TaoTronics Wireless Portable Bluetooth Stereo Music Transmitter"

stream audio from tv to phone?

Guys,
is it possible to stream audio from my bluetooth enabled television to the galaxy s2 (output via earphones from 3.5mm jack)??
I don't wanna spend extra on a bluetooth headset to use when watching television at night. =\

No Audio via HDMI over AllShare Dongle

Hi all,
I have the Note 2, it is not rooted and full stock. I purchased the Allshare Dongle and I did update the dongle firmware. I can get video over HDMI but no audio using media player or spotify. I tried 2 different HDMI cables. I tried going direct to TV and bypassing the HDMI receiver to which the TV is connected. I tried going to Accessory Settings and trying both Stereo and Surround.
Seems like this should be obvious but its not. I get audio from phone until I turn on allshare cast, and then I get no audio from the phone (as it should be because HDMI is then active) - but there is no HDMI audio.
I searched the Net but can't seem to find others with the problem. Thoughts?

[Q] Samsung Watchon and av receiver

I really like the IR blaster, and I have successfully paired my samsung tv, time warner cable box and my denon receiver. The only issue is, I can't get the denon to do anything but turn on and off. I would like it to control the volume at least. Has anyone been successful at this? I feel like I have gone through every setting...
Thanks!

It depends on your setup. For example I'm using a Sony TV and Sony receiver. The have Sony link so link up. When I change the volume on the TV it increases the receivers volume. Denon are infamous for having issues. I setup my friends $900 Denon for him and it only goes into 5:1 on the TV. ON the PS3 it only does 5 channel stereo. I would check your TV for a setting that allows control of the sound though the TV. Some TV's have this some don;t. It would be in the TV's options. Mine was under Speakers Audio System or TV.

How to use phone as bluetooth receiver?

Hi everyone. My TV supports audio output to bluetooth device.
Is there a way to use Android phone as bluetooth headset? The phone will receive bluetooth audio from TV and I could listen using my wired 3.5 mm headset plugged into my phone?
Thanks!
