It's been a long time since this project started. At the begining, it was extended fork of Chaos kernel for Nexus 5 and now, now it's completly standalone kernel, built on top of CAF sources for Nexus 5. Why CAF? Will there ever be an AOSP version of this kernel? I can't really answer to that question. I am CAF "fanboy". Yeah, it is more "hacky" kernel than AOSP, but i find it beautiful. I find it way more fluid and battery-friendly than AOSP and as long as I am staying with CAF, as long this kernel will be based on it. I had attempts to make AOSP version of it, but i simply can't do that since i am short on time for testing and I am running CAF ROM. With fourth bigger update of BlueMoon kernel, I could say this project grew up and became way more mature. I did a lot more tests as on previous versions. And now I can really say I love using my phone with this Kernel. I hope that you will feel the same if you will try to use it.

Just flash on top of any CAF ROM in hammerheadcaf TWRP recovery. Flashable ZIP is made in a way it will allow to flash on non-CAF TWRP, but it's not gonna boot on AOSP ROM. If you have CAF ROM installed, you know what to do. If you don't have CAF ROM installed or if you don't know what CAF is, don't flash this. It'll brick your phone.
I was thinking, and there is too many people to thank. A lot of people motivated me and helped me. The first one was @dadi11 who taught me basics of Android development, so i would like to specially thank him. And i would like to thank everyone in my commit history, because without those guys, there would be no this kernel today. And last, I would like to thank anyone who is making this device still alive, who developes for Nexus 5.
You can download latest build of my kernel HERE. Please no mirrors. If you need one, ask and I'll provide one.
Kernel Source can be found on my GitHub, here: BlueMoon
Toochain I used can be found here: BloodTC
BloodTC is my own Toolchain. It's built with latest crosstool-ng 1.22.0, GCC module is latest Linaro snapshot on version 4.9, and everything else is from GNU archives, similar to Linaro toolchains shared here on XDA, but this one has biuntils-gdb and all other things updated to latest versions, because i didn't find any 4.9 toolchain with those. If anyone want's to use it, feel free to, and if you don't mind i would like to know if you are using it. That's all.

Hi, could you try to update Linux version from .106 to .109? Thanks
Edit, nevermind, I see on Github you did this already! You may want to update the OP in that case

FAQs:
Q. what is the difference between your normal and jerrica builds?
A. normal build is based on official CM source and jerrica is based on premaca's official xiaomi source
Q. why CPU frequencies are not changing even after setting min and max values in kernel adiutor?
A. simple go to hotplugs, disable mpdecision and enable some other hotplug
Q. why is charging so slow?
A. sorry can't help I never faced this issue, even with stock cm13 kernel my device gets charged within 2hrs
one thing I can suggest is stick to a ROM for a week
by sticking to a ROM I mean don't even flash nightlies
Q. what is drivedroid?
A. DriveDroid is an Android application that allows you to boot your PC from ISO/IMG files stored on your phone.
more info here: http://softwarebakery.com/projects/drivedroid
Q. okay you have given us a balanced profile what about a battery oriented profile?
A. sorry, with the settings I have given above I already get 5-6hrs of SOT which is optimal for a 2200mAh battery, so if you are asking about a profile which will give about 7-8hrs of SOT stop dreaming.

Review.
Here is my review after testing it for 3 days :
Selinux - Permissive (Doesn't break ViPER4Android /Sound mods)
All sensors work fine (Including Yas sensor)
Great Multitasking (Heavy Games like Asphalt8, MC-Blackout run smooth)
Overclocked to 1.4 Ghz.
Lots of Cpu Governers, Hotplugs & I/O schedulers to choose from.
Good Battery life (After all these features)
Undervolted, Powersuspend.
Can be used as Usb keyboard/mouse.
No Lag, No Overheating.
Latest Linux Version.
Overall this is the best kernel till date for all the marshmallow RoMs of Xiaomi Redmi 2.
With a these variety of governers and a lot other things, this kernel also provides good battery life(You cant expect more than this from a 2200 mAh device)
I would suggest this kernel to all the redmi 2 users who haven't tried it yet....
and at last its a great work from @Ashish94 (Considering its his first kernel, then its awesome! )

Slow charging fast charging varies from user to user some are getting 1000mA and some are getting 500mA(including me). No such bug as going from 15-1% in 1sec.

A little lag jitter will always be there irrespective of any kernel any rom you use. Try more tinkering with kernel settings and use the setting that suits you.

Did you make a backup of the old kernel?? If not open the zip package of your rom with winrar or any other compression software and extract boot.img from it. Now flash this boot.img with flashify or twrp. Done you are back to your old kernel.

It saddens me a bit to see how this range of Samsung phones has little development. Despite my little knowledge of C and the difficulty I had when I started to build the kernel thanks to the guides of @Droidzone and @The Sickness I was able to compile it and thus to contribute a grain of sand in this section.

-Download the zip file and save it into the root directory of external storage
-Reboot to recovery mode and flash the zip file
-Reboot device
It's recommended to flash HexaTurbo only over stock kernel
I recomend using Custom installation for better choices, since you are a gamer!

Good job, my Redmi 2 is fast. Amazing! I'm using mokee 7.1 nitghly 20170207

@TecnoTailsPlays
Whilst testing your new update, I realized that the UI was really laggy. So I checked my frequencies and governor via KA and found out that the max frequency was capped at 800 mhz.
I tried changing frequencies and the frequencies wouldn't stick. If I tried raising it to 1209, it would bounce back to 800.
I tried changing governors too. Unfortunately issue didn't have a workaround so I Reverted to Zetsubou
My modem is 2014818 and I have the 1Gb Variant. I run AiCP 12.1

Even if that was the case (which it isn't, it's based on SimpleGX VERY CLEARLY in the OP), the kernel is licensed under the GPL. It's against the license terms to restrict people from using the source in any way they see fit. This is 100% allowed and okay.

What is your problem, seriously? You complain about lack of development, scoff at donating to further development from a great developer and stifle development by making false accusations. Meanwhile you have done absolutely nothing to help further it.

In my opinion I properly wrote author of base in OP but if anyone is blind I added one more BIG red text... Or if You said this because I use something from other then franken kernel is based on OOS kernel, OOS kernel on (propobly) clear linux kernel and linux kernel is based on unix sooo Linus need to delete his kernel too? lol
GPL is allowing to fork projects so I used this for more comfort work.
If anyone more want to delete this no problem because as I said I'm creating this for me, not for people that want to delete anyone work and hate.

for others that enjoy kernel here is new version released!

Can somebody please overclock using a more performance based governor or at the very least run it in the actual performance mode?
This phone is great and all but I can't help but imagine what an utter beast it would be overclocked and/or in the performance mode governor. I'd try myself but I'm unable to root and unlock right now.

This kernel exists because of the great kernel developers that we've been blesses with here in the Note 4 forums. Since they have moved on for the most part and their kernels are no longer being updated I'm going to try my best to fill that void. Along with being completely upstreamed to the latest Linux version it includes, what I think, is the best parts of all the kernels that we've enjoyed from the last several years.
As with anything on XDA, FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK. While I do my best to test everything there just no way of knowing how a kernel might respond to your current setup. With that being said, PLEASE HAVE A BACKUP just in case

Wake Controls
To get the wake controls working: Turn on the control you want to use in Kernel Adiutor and then, using a root file explorer, go to /sys/android_touch2/ then find the corresponding file ie doubletap2wake and open the file with a text editor. If the file says 0 change it to 1, if it's already one just save and exit. After that it should work every time until you turn it back off in KA. If you want to turn it back on just repeat the above process.
I consider this to be as good as the wake controls are going to get. They've never really worked reliably but at least with this way it does and to be honest I probably won't put too much more work into getting it any better. Sorry.

Many Thanks!! Great work!! Success on the N910T with ApocalypseX_M rom.
One thing though I'm using the extended battery since I have a Kranich 9600mAH battery, in kernel Auditor it registers as 3200mAH. Not a huge deal to me, I'm fairly confident the kernel will eventually learn.

I've read that about the extended batteries in regards to kernel adiutor showing 3200 still. I think the app is reading something from the rom instead of the kernel. Race rom shows 3600 even with a stock kernel.
Like you said, it should even itself out after a bit. I think I read that it might take two battery cycles. Is that right?

When I was using RamKernel, it took about a week to adjust 100%. At first I'd run out and reboot & have 65%. Then 30, then 20, 10, 5 etc. So I think it's more than 2 battery cycles, but nevertheless it does eventually adjust.
Gonna go ahead and charge it overnight. I'll update with anything else. Other than that, great work my friend!
