Booting without a display - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I´m not sure if this is the right forum for my question, but i´m searching for days and no one was able to help me.
I want to boot my android smartphone (xperia p) with an unplugged display.
Unfortunately, the device won´t boot when the screen is physically not connected. When I disconnect the screen when the phone has already booted, everything is fine and I still get a picture via hdmi out.
There seems to be something like a "hardware-check" right at the beginning, and I want to deactivate it.
The smartphone is rooted.
I would be very thankful if someone could help me with this.
Sorry if there might be some language mistakes, I´m german.

[Q] X10 Mini Pro not working properly

Hey Com,
I got some problems with my u20i x10 Mini Pro. It was stuck in some boot loop like 1 month ago and I tried to reflash it with SEUS and this flaher App thing thousands of times. I did not have a little bit of success so i gave it up 3 weeks ago. Since then i had my phone laying under my desk without the battery. Today I decided to try it again and, GOD KNOWS WHY, it started up normally. So i finished the startup wizard and everything worked fine. Then i rooted it with superoneclick (my phone had A.0.6 FW), rebooted and everything worked just fine. Then I wanted to sign in to my wireless network and for some reason it did not work, but whatever. After like half an hour my phone started lagging really hard and suddenly the screen went black. I tried to push all the buttons and the screen went bright for a very little while and went black again. And this point it was like it was turned off. So i tried to turn it on and, guess what, its stuck in a boot loop! YAY! Now my phone is lying in front of me and all i can see is the only white SONY ERICSSON logo.
Seriously what has happened? Anyone knows how to fix that?
Thanks in advance, Martin.
UPDATE:
Now I am facing a new problem. My device turns "on", I can see the white SE logo, then the screen goes black but for some odd reason the touchscreen is reacting at the lower left and right parts of the screen. I can even dial a number (i hear the beeps) when I press twice at the lower left corner and then tapping at the display. But well, i guess thats not how the phone should work. So did any one also face this problem? Do you have a solution for that?
Anyway, Thanks in advance.
Kind Regards, Martin.

Using profanity is one thing, but using it in the topic? Surely a 99% ignore from most members!
Id go back and edit your posting if you are actually capable of using better language!
Nochances,
Wow, you must be one big loser, your first post is to criticise someone the way the lay out a question script.

[Q] I would really, really need any help I can get. (xRecovery & Xperia X8)

Okay, so let me start with the problem.
A few days ago, I used xRecovery to install Ice Cream Sandwich ((ICS 0.08)) on my Xperia X8, and as I've rebooted my phone, everything worked fine. I did not flash it, however, I didn't (and still don't) really know what that was.
Now, instead of slowly explaining how I discovered things that were bad, let me say something. I knew the things that were said not to work wouldn't, but the SOUND doesn't work properly. It acknowledges heaphones, but plays no sound through them. It doesn't read my Vodafone SIM card at all, it can't display images, and it's very, very slow.
I thought that this was to be expected, so I decided that the right thing to do was to wipe, and reinstall my backup, right?
I shut down the phone, restarted it, and as soon as the 'SonyEricsson' logo appeared, as per usual, I started pressing the 'back' button. It didn't enter the menu, instead just froze there until the battery was taken out.
I could possibly take it to get fixed, but I really don't have the money, and I just want someone to tell me how to install a ROM (readable-only image) onto my phone in any sort of way, if possible the safest way right now. The Stock 2.1 ROM specifically, I've learned my lesson, and I just want my phone back now. Music is a crucial part of my life, and without my phone.. well, working out would just be boring.
ć
TL;DR? I need someone to explain any method using which I could install a ROM onto my Xperia X8, if possible very simply. I'm really not far deep down into studying this yet, so I probably don't know what most terms would mean, unless you would give a brief explanation.
I would really, really appreciate help. If possible, on an urgent matter, if not, please take your time.
Thank you again in advance.
Bumping this up because I think more people are on now.

[Q] Moonse N730 - AllWinner A10 - Android 4.0 ICS

Hi Everyone!
This is my first post on the board, so at begin I wanna say that topics here are very helpful. Always when I've had a problem I could to find answer somewhere here. However, today I can't.
Some time ago my friend have bought a tablet Moonse N730 on CPU Allwinner A10.Sorry, I can't give you a link. Everything was ok, to the first battery discharge. After charging, she wanted to switch on the tablet. Screen lights up, but after few seconds device get frozen. My first thought was - factory reset will help. Unfortunately, there appeared the first problem. Chinese language in recovery mode. Somehow, someway I've done the reset after several attempts. But it doesn't fix problem. I mean device worked ok to the next discharged and then same story again.
My conclusion is - it need a new OS.
I've been tried few Android versions already, but always something wasn't good. Ones camera didn't work. Second time - touch screen. Right now when you trying turn camera on device is rebooting.
I have found on forum few topics from the past (2 years ago) but there was nothing useful.
If anyone can help me I'll appreciate it. Thanks.
P.S. Sorry about my poor English

hacked lumia 920?

hi xda-fans,
i spent a lot times in reading this forum and the knowledge and helpful members are great and i found a lot to learn.
now i have som issues with my phone i couldn't solve by myself and created an account and i'm going to hope you could help me with it(sry for my bad english).
situation:
i bought a nokia lumia 920 from ebay and it was provider locked by ee. god luck i could remove the lock with the help of ee-support.
for better country support(germany) i flashed it with an free euro rom and it works fine.
after a while it seems to be locked and the screen changed through the menus and i can't do anything to stop it.... even shut down with touch was not possible... i turned off wifi and after that i was able to shut down with hardware-keys.
i thought, there was a bad app on my phone and i reset it to factory settings.
after that it works well again... but after a while again the phone reacts without my touching.
hmm.. maybe the rom (downloaded with nokia care suit/ navifirm) was compromited or what else ever...
ok... i used the windows/nokia phone recovery tool to flash the original rom...
but same shemata... for a while it works well and then... someone remotes my phone... everytime this happens only if it were connected to wifi, wpa2 64bit-key...
1. for now i'm sure someone remotes my phone, but
2. how is it possible, even with factory reset
3. how can i prevent it
i hope you skilled "mindfreaks" could help me
is it possible to write into a protected zone in the phone, so it doesn't matter to or how often i do the factory reset?
greetings

This, and you can network analyse all traffic to and from your phone. But I would also expect it to be something with your touchscreen. *try a simple, disconnect, reconnect the digitizer* maybe just a dirty connector.
and with the recent hack root hack, root it, and place a fresh clean rom on it, by yourself. then unroot it again (or let it be). You could then be kinda sure that the bootloader is "clean" aswell.
