Hello, I have recently moved from stock JB to Omnirom on S2. I tried to search but couldn't find. So would appreciate if someone could give me link for kernels compatible with omnirom (apart from the default kernel it comes with). I do have link for Gustavo_s's files for S2: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=12345
I used it for flashing omnirom. Now which all kernels would work with omnirom, if someone could provide me with links?
Bump!!!
Instead of naming kernels, I will suggest you use the best kernel compatible with all KitKat ROMs for the I9100 (OmniRom 4.4 as well). Try using Dorimanx Kernel v10 9.43v96 as some users reported that the kernel is stable for daily use and included several hardware customization. Definitely, Gustavo_s kernel is good and runs OmniRom real good, but Dorimanx kernel is a beast.
Hi!
Does exist any kernel for Rom 4.4.4 (Stock or like CM, Paranoid etc.) ? I am asking it cuz i read that Pimped Kernel and DooMKernel have problems with the last versions of these roms.

Doomkernel will only boot stock roms and I don't think @DooMLoRD has included the latest .108 code yet so won't boot the latest Sony firmware.
Jackie099's kernel (Stock with ric disabled) will boot .108 firmware.
My pimped kernel port will only boot CM and [some] AOSP ROMs and is working on the latest 4.4.4 ROMs, although it is a little unstable. I've been getting a reboot a day or two. I'm trying to get it as stable as 4.4.3 and early 4.4.4 was but I'm having trouble, and it looks like it is the same for the Z1 as there hasn't been a 4.4.4 release there even though @Androguide.fr has murged in the latest code.
Then there is my CM 11 kernel with dt2w that can be had from the second post in the Carbon thread (or on the last page or two of the thread), that should be as stable as any stock cm kernel.

Here are some great kernels for kitkat 4.4.X that I recommend:
Apolo Kernel 7.1 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/development-derivatives/kernel-t2291756
DorimanX 10.44 RC2 by Cybernetus: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ivatives/kernel-dorimanx-test-builds-t2415759
Does anyone here know if there is a i777 compatible kernel for the galaxy s2 i9100 5.1 lollipop roms . I have tried using Shift- Eternal- lollipop kernel. It was compatible with the i9100 5.0 lollipop CM Resurrection_remix ROM, but I have not been able to get it to work with the 5.1 release.. I have tried replacing the boot image file from cyanide L 5.1. It boots but there is no wifi or Mobile data.

No, sorry. @rogersb11's kernel is pretty much the only game in town now. It's possible (purely speculative) that you've run into problems because he builds his own kernel instead of CM's, and RR is basically CM with added features so you would need a pure CM kernel to port.
Again, that's a guess, as that's how it used to work. He's posted an update to his rom; did you try pulling the kernel from that update?
Steve, thanks for taking the time to reply. I was afraid that was the case. Rogerb11 first 5.1 release was without his lollipop kernel. he stated that he was having problems with his kernel with wifi. I tried porting that kernel and I believe that it just boot looped. His second release with his kernel booted, but then I experienced problems with wifi and mobile. Hopefully he will release a 5.1 standalone kernel that can be ported over to the i9100 ROMs.
The truth is I have not been able to find a stable lollipop rom yet for my phone. The closest was resolution remix 5.02. and I was wanting to try the 5.1 version. Will keep checking the forum. Thanks again
Hey guys,
I am looking for a custom kernel to overclock my OnePlus X based on CM13.
Thanks in advance!
there is none, Yet.
There is Boeffla (2.55 GHZ) but it is only for 5.1 as far as I know
Wait for Boeffla to come out of alpha testing
Boeffla kernel is currently just for OOS. But there's an (empty) link to CM13.0 so I think he intends to release a kernel for CM13. I think it will be a matter of months (also for CM13 to become official nightly).
