Hey, is there any way to unlock a bootloader if "bootloader unlock allowed: no" ? Or any way to root the phone?

It was off for me basicly (if i was looking at the good menu) or where is this exactly? I'd appreciate a screenshot of it because the language in the phone doesn't mean the same thing :/
Go to setting, security, Xperia protect and disbable it. :thumbup:

The problem for me is that Xperia protect is not even active. when I go to MyXperia it has a activate button. Is there anywhere else to check if its still active?
I'm having the same problem. This phone is becoming more trouble then it's worth
Disable MyXperia grayed out
Hey, unfortunately i wasn't able to disable MyXperia Theft Protection, disable button is grayed out even though i removed it from device's administrator list. Could it be because of the sim lock ?

Hey people,
This happenned this morning, I was getting ready for school.
Unplugged my phone (Xperia Sola) from the charger and i layed it down on my wallet.
When I wanted to go to the bathroom but my phone was suddenly recognizing a new tag.
So I checked every card I had in my wallet to check wat it was detecting.
It turned out to be my ID-card ( It's a european ID-card ) and I can use it as an NFC tag just like the ones from Xperia.
This means you can use any RFID tag ( I think it is) as tags using this near field communication.
So I ask my question to a developer:
Could you make some third party app that makes you unlock your phone using one of the assigned Tags?
I think it sound like a great idea and lets check into this and maybe realize it with a developer who is into the Xperia Sola.
It doesn't especially need to be your ID-card, it could be any tag you link with it.
The ID-card just gave me the ID so it can check if your the right person that belongs to the phone.

You can set pin,patern and even face lock.

It was just an idea for developers so maybe they can do something with it Or maybe as extra boot security when you restart your phone. That you need to swipe your ID past it.

NFC doesnt work on the lockscreen. It is a security feature that is implemented by google. Otherwise nfc could be used to take control of your phone in your pocket and such.
try search 'nfc retag' at play store.. it can be use to set action for that card. but it cant unlock the phone since nfc did not work at lockscreen..
edit: ok.. you can unlock the lockscreen. but you must use 3rd party lockscreen such as go locker.. ive tried it.. you can even bypass the pattern lock security..

i was able to install my xperia on unoficial cm10.1, and it looks the app is working, but i dont have xperia menu in settings, so i cannot acess configuration.
what do i need to do to get that in my settings menu ??

There are no xperia settings in settings menu, because it's not stock rom. What do you need there?

I have a question regard this option.
I have stamina mode enabled and this option is enabled as well, but sometimes this option will turn off by itself and I don't know why and what I cause for it.
I don't think that stamina mode will cause it because I turn the option on again and live the phone on standby in stamina mode for a few hour and didn't turn off but sometimes it will do it by itself and it's noting that you can guess about time or what it cause for it.
If anyone knows why, please let me know.

I have started noticing this too.
Starting to lag a lot. When I open recent apps button, it takes 2seconds to load. And the phone is constantly stuttering. I can even see lag when I am typing on the phone. I'm also sure my stamina mode is off and my developer options are off. What would you recommend I do?

Use a app like appkiller or similar. i use The Cleaner. great app to kill apps and boost the ram.

I'm using D6503, from singapore branded singtel with no sim lock. It has preloaded apps like taxi booking, my singtel and hungrygowhere. I'm running. 438, and my diagnostic in my setting keeps force quiting.

I need to have a chat backup of my WhatsApp. But unfortunately following the steps on their website on transferring chats didn't work for me. Any other way to back up? I don't mind losing everything, but just not my WhatsApp

titanium backup is aparently very goos but you do need root
Hi, last night my cousins visited us. For privacy, i set up my pin unlock code as security for my phone. But now when I wanted to revert back to slide unlock the option is blurred. I cant click it.. Anyone knows how to fix this? Im running rooted LP firmware btw.. thanks in advance everyone..
