[Help] Need some tips for Huawei Ascend Y330 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi!
I need some help from experts. My little brother have a phone, Huawei Y330. We have problems with the internal storage... When he want to install or update any app, I need to wipe some files to get enough space for the app. And it's very annoying when the phone have 230+MB on the internal storage and I can't install a 30Mb update for Google Play services, and it's important because without this update the f***ing YouTube app didn't work... I can't root that damn phone, I tried KingoRoot, but failed. So I can't delete the factory apps, can't install link2sd and etc. I now hate that phone and a bit the android rom. So please write anything idea to solve this problem.
And I almost forget: sorry for my english
Thank you!

Try the latest version of Kingroot. The latest version will succeed, it worked well for me.

[Q] error re-installing youtube

hi everybody,
I it my first new thread, I hope I post it at the right place....
I started my dicover of the android word with a Samsung Xcover x5690, android 2.3.6.
Nice phone, unfortunately containt plenty a syst soft, some in Germain, so unusable for me. So many softs that the phone run extremely low. So many that /system partition was full and I had to remove a apk during a recovery reboot first to be able to root my phone.
I installed root uninstaller. I delete other germain apk, I succefully transfered some apk from phone to sdcard, but even after that I still get some out of memories.
I decide to force to move google maps, gmail and youtube to sdcard. Impossible to perform directly, I remove those syst apk with root uninstaller, then I re-install them from market.
That worked fine for maps and gmail, that are not syst apk anymore.
BUT... I cannot install youtube, each time I get the error message that I cannot install in the default directory.
Does someone have an idea how I could re-install it ?
Thanks.

[Q] Google Play Store False "Insufficient Storage Available" Message

Hi,
Recently, I have been VERY frustrated with my phone as it is not possible to install ANY apps. I am using a Huawei Ascend G510, unrooted, running Android 4.1.1. I heard something about luckypatcher, but I do not have it nor could I find it on Google Play. Google Play keeps saying "Insufficient storage available". I have over 120 megabites of space for apps. I tried cleaning cache and data but it did not help. What's really weird is that I couldn't even install the app with an apk ! What should I do? Is a facory reset needed (I hope not, as I can't even install a backup app...) ?
Thanks,
Matthew Smith

Google deactivates/freezes Android's "Setting" App

Dear xdadeveloper community,
i got a Samsung Galaxy S3 with Cyanogenmod 12. Google somehow managed to freeze the Android Settings App (I guess Google thinks it's a Virus). I can see with "SD - Maid" that the App is still installed, but just frozen. You can unfreeze the App with SD Maid but the app needs root. I don't know why, but SD Maid has no root permission and I don't know how to give permission. I installed "Root Checker" to see if my root is working. But the Root Checker says there is no root.
It's a really important smartphone to me with really important data.
I really dont know what to do. I hope someone of you guys can help me out.
Thanks a lot.
Alex
Factory reset from within recovery or reflash the rom twice. You can also flash back to a stock firmware if you can ID the device and its region.

Unable to install certain apps from Google Play store after factory reset

Hi, I'm unable to install apps that I have previously installed on my phone. Apps that were still installed when I had to factory reset my phone due to a soft brick. For example, I had Parking Mania 2 installed before I had to reset, and now that I did reset, all my apps were gone so I had to reinstall them, I used the OnePlus Switch app to transfer my old phones data, including apps, to my new phone (OnePlus 6t). I didn't have Parking Mania 2 installed on my old phone, so I have to get it from the Play Store now, but I get error code 910 every time I try to install it.
I remember having this issue before with older phones but I haven't put the pieces together until now. This always happens after I reset a phone, and I only get the error (same error code, 910) when I try to install previous apps. I'm also unable to install these apps from any other source, like Apkmirror.
Does anyone know how I could fix this?
Things I've tried:
Log out then back in to Google account
Clear Google Play Store cache/data
Restart phone
Download on both cell data/WI-FI
Look for residual app data (unable to find)
Try this

Hi there,
Have you tried rooting your phone, since Google Play apps are all in-built its impossible to delete them off your phone without root. After rooting you can install app like titanium backup root to uninstall all the Google Play and other bloatware apps.
I recommend KINGO ROOT to root your device.
Kingo Root Website: https://www.kingoapp.com/
After rooting open this on your phone
Titanium Backup: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup&hl=en_IE
Thank you

I know I can uninstall system apps and stuff, that's not the issue. I can't get some apps to install.

Hi there,
okay, now I see, sorry didn't see the question properly, what does it say on the play store does it say:
your device is not compatible?
Anyways try and install APK files directly on to device. Or you can install APTOIDE on your phone, it's an alternative for Google Play.
There is a news circulating that Google Play will stop serving apps without a 64-bit CPU support. But that will not happen till 2021
Thank you

It doesn't say the app isn't supported, it gives error code 910 when I try to install apps. I have Aptoide, and when I try to install the same apps, it doesn't install.

3. Clear cache and Data
4. And Search for Google Services
5. Clear Cache and Data
and try and see if that works.
Thank You

Hi there,
Maybe Google installed the right files for your device. Not sure what happened. But keep note of it, see if there was anything new installed on your device.
Thank you
