Hi all. My device is Samsung Galaxy s2 and I use [ROM][5.1.1] [DIRTY-UNICORNS v9.7] [Dirty Deeds] [OC/TRIM] based on AOSP 5.1.1 (TWRP recovery), I made an advance over TWRP. I want to try the ROM on based CM. What is the procedure if I want to go back to the ROM based on AOSP, because the backup is created through TWRP Recovery and Recovery on based CM does not find a backup created on based TWRP, so I can not restore the original ROM. Thank you for any advice and assistance.
Most TWRP recoveries support flashing CM roms. You shouldn't need to switch unless the dev specifically states it's necessary. If it is, and you want to restore the TWRP backup, you'll just need to install TWRP by itself again through Odin or a recovery zip, if one is available for your phone.

I am using OMNI ROM 4.4.4 KITKAT on my Galaxy S2 GT-I9100. I want to install ICS ROM CM9. I have TWRP 2.7.1.0. Is it ok to flash CM9 using this TWRP version or should I install CWM. Make sure you have root and a custom recovery(like twrp) and take a backup(make sure you have a efs backup)
And before flashing do a wipe
