but after i run unrevoked nothing happens...
after a while unrevoked says waiting for root.
so my phone is still not rooted.
i have the following version:
htc desire
bravo pvt4 ship s-on
hboot-1.02.0001
microp-051d
touch panel-synw0101
radio-5.17.05.23
what sort rooting program/guide works for my phone?
i would love to try miui on my phone.

Currently trying to root my Legend (after downgrading to 1.31), and put on a custom ROM.
All has went great so far but I'm at the stage of needing the "Legend Rooting Tools"...none of the download links I can find anywhere work (everywhere seems to point to the same place!)
Can anyone give me a working link to download the Rooting Tools?

My First thing i want to talk about is, i want to unlock my Phone about HTCDev but in no way there is at the moment there no possibility of registering for me and other People, I try it more days at this week and i also call with the suport from HTC but with no succes Now i will hope thath anybody can help me
The Second thing that i want to ask is at the moment i have the HBOOT Verison 1.53.0007 now is my question is there a way that i didnt must downgrade?
The Third thing i want to ask is what are the best recovery tools, the best roms, and a easy tutorial for beginner/idiots/newbies to unlock my phone install a custom rom and a recovery tool?

This thread contains all the info you need to get s-off and downgrade hboot. You need to downgrade hboot to run aosp roms like cm10 Aokp or evervolv.
The best recovery is 4EXT.
If you are unable to get unlock token using htcdev someone else might be able to do it for you. You just have to provide that code for unlock token.
I need help rooting my HTC One m7 verizon phone! I have tried rum runner sunshine and towel Rootand nothing will work! I think it has something to do with the new update but if somebody knows how to unlock the bootloader and to gain root on this phone please help me out thank you.
