Hi Guys
Currently trying to root my Legend (after downgrading to 1.31), and put on a custom ROM.
All has went great so far but I'm at the stage of needing the "Legend Rooting Tools"...none of the download links I can find anywhere work (everywhere seems to point to the same place!)
Can anyone give me a working link to download the Rooting Tools?

but be advised that it is for h-boot 1.00 Legends (forum also has tutorials for 1.1 etc)

Recently I rooted my phone without unlocking bootloader. I took help from this site in doing so.
Now I need to flash custom rom on to my rooted device with locked bootloader. How can I do it?
Can anyone please tell me the steps and links in detail?
I searched the site for this , found few links but I wanted exact steps for my device.
Could anyone please helpout?

Before installing a custom rom you need to install recovery, if you haven't installed any recovery previously. check this link to install recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1364509
Here you can find the Custom Rom's for both Locked & Unlocked Boot Loader http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1450
Before trying any Rom check whether it is for Locked/Unlocked Boot Loader. Instruction for flashing that Rom will on that thread itself.

Get your pc setup to use Odin.Then you can flash siyah-s2-v4.1.5.tar directly.....which gives you root/cwm and safe kernel.
Then backup efs folder and make nand backup.
Then visit the rom thread you like and follow instructions.
Or you can root using recovery method in my sig and flash the .zip version of siyah.

This thread contains all the info you need to get s-off and downgrade hboot. You need to downgrade hboot to run aosp roms like cm10 Aokp or evervolv.
The best recovery is 4EXT.
If you are unable to get unlock token using htcdev someone else might be able to do it for you. You just have to provide that code for unlock token.
