I live in Bahrain and have ordered a 64gb aluminum model from the US using a forwarding service. Did the same with nexus 4 three years back. Anyone else in the same boat?

I don't think that this is possible , you can check with clove.co.uk and Handtec.co.uk as they sell the international model

That's really nice. May I know how did you go through it and which forwarding service did you use? I would like to do the same as well but personally have no experience of using such.
@M.Noury Doesn't matter as the lte bands here are supported in the US model.only reason i would prefer to buy locally is the warranty

This time Band 3 is supported on both the US and International models so not an issue.
Ordered from the US store, 128gb, black, to be shipped to Oman via aramex.
Also, Have a friend who works in huwawi here who is high in the chain of command, ordered 2 pcs of 128gb, he said he will bring them with him next week once he is back from his trip to HQ in China.
Fingers crossed so I might get mine next week.

Hi, I checked 10 stores in New York and still only 2 stores had it, and they don't have display models in the store. I think once it goes on sale or its going to be available in stores we will have more people here. The phone is a beautiful phone and it will get sales.

Best buy in Commack NY had it. I assume most do (they get bigger shipments)
Over here in California (bay area) they (AT&T) won't have them in until the end of November due to "clearing out the devices for the newer one's" in order to make space for the new one's, weird how they managed to squeeze in the GIANTIC GNII

I went to a couple of Walmarts in my area today (Mississauga/Toronto). It didn't look like they had any in the store. I even asked a couple of people who worked there and they kept on telling me I was confused with the nexus 7.
They don't sell them at Walmart in Canada, but they do in the US!

Just got Nexus 10 in Canada
I live in Vancouver and I just got my Nexus 10 last week. Here are the things I did:
1. Register an account at a pick-up location at the US border. There are many pick-up locations servicing Canadians at the border. You just need to pay $3 to $5 for each item shipped there.
2. Change the credit card billing address to that US pick-up location, for just one day.
3. Search on google for a "high anonymity" proxy server in the US. Enter its IP address and port number into your browser settings. This is to trick the google play store that you are located in USA instead of Canada.
4. Now go to google play store. What you will see is the US store instead of the Canada store.
5. Both 16GB and 32GB models are available. It says "ship in 1 to 2 weeks" for the 32GB model. I ordered it using the credit card with the US billing address. It shipped within 2 days.
6. When the item arrives the pick-up location, you will normally receive an e-mail from that location. Drive across the border to there and pay a few dollars to pick it up.
7. Just unbox it, take the tablet and all the accessories. If you want the original box, just mail it back to Canada and don't bring it together with yourself. This is to prevent custom duty when crossing the border back to Canada.
8. If you want to save the State tax (8.7% in Washington State), you can register an account at reship.com. They are located in Oregon so that you don't need to pay any state tax. Have google store ship to them, and they will re-ship your tablet to the US border. You just need to pay a fee to reship.com and it's cheaper than the state tax.
16gb now available on the Canadian play store.

So what? True or not, its not like the Nexus 10 is not powerful enough. And that would still be in a couple months.
I'd rather have a Nexus 10 tomorrow than have a revised Nexus 10 in 3 months. Its not wasted money, you still have your Nexus 10.
I ordered one today. Funny thing is it was "Estimate Delivery : 25th January" then "Estimated Shipping : 25th January" and now "Delivered" lol.

I have been patiently waiting for the Nexus 10 32GB to be available on the Google Play store. I just check what Amazon Canada had available for Nexus 10 accessories and came across this link:

That's the Nexus 4. The Nexus 10, regardless of the price is the first tablet to compete with the iPad (through pure android, hires, build). So yeah the price is a perk but not the whole point of it like at 100$ less, vs the Nexus 4 which is half price at similar quality/feature.
But no, I wouldn't buy any tablet for 700$.

If you look at their shipping info, they ship from their global warehouse to their UK warehouse and then onto you, but it does take a week or more.

It was delayed because of Chinease new year mate, so I cancelled and picked my 32gb White one up for the same price from an ebay seller. £382 with next day delivery. Very happy with it.

I think he was going off the release date that was only listed via the mobile site that stated7/8. It is frustrating there's no place to get this brick and mortar or Amazon. Best Buy is obviously not sold out on both items, so it must just be a placeholder until they know more and actually have product in inventory.

Ordered from Google Play and got it next day. They have a good return policy too. Decided this was a better alternative than trying to chase this down at Best Buy and AT&T.
Bought one at an at&t corporate store yesterday.
So ymmv but I managed to find one best buy near me that had 2 g watches in stock and I bought both. Most stores in my area aren't receiving any till the 20th. They aren't on display yet at the store I bought from they were just boxed up in the back. So give your local best buy a call and hopefully you get lucky. They should be able to check inventory for stores near you as well.

Well thats why I held off. Google is obviously getting Amazon and BB units before the 3rd so they can ship out their pre-orders on the 3rd.
They question is will the stores have them in stock or will they just be in the distribution centers at that point.
Best buy says coming soon so I doubt it

Walked into Best Buy and left with one about 10 minutes ago.
Just picked mine up at the local best buy as well, unfortunately they only had black, but I will deal with it.
Confirmed: bought at best buy at 3:50 pm central time. Online order for in-store pickup.
